I can do the braiding, but need to know if you sew the weft below or above braid, or right on top. Don't laugh at my stupid question just not sure. I have done the single one of two at the base of the head before but not the whole head. You made yours look beautiful.

@TheOsaie i personally love it but it's not the best hair, if you're looking for long lasting hair this is not the hair for you and it doesn't curl so well. But none of that matters to me because i like it straight and i keep it in for only 4 weeks :)

@freshgirl426 if you buy hair that is human or even synthetic premium/futura, you want to invest in curling and flat irons that havve a dial and have it no warmer than 300 to 350 or the hair will not curl or hold a curl. To hold the curl, you should wash the hair before styling or installing, and use a light wrap mouuse and a heat protection product. Finsh your weaves with a light holding spray like Pump It Up, the curls should last and so should the hair.

your sew ins are great; the look natural which i was in the new York area :-) also wish i could see ur braid pattern better...you cant really see the front. if u ever make another tut, you should show the braid pattern a little more / better.

@rikka1287 That's what I thought too b/c i was watching the Tyra show one day and her hair stylist told her to stop dying her hair because you can't double chemical process your hair, he said you either get a perm or you get a dye but you can't do both

@drummojb right because doing both is asking for your hair to be fraile and fall out. You should do a perm then wait to do color and in between that time make sure your hair is extra moisturized because color strips your. Even after take they steps needed to keep your hair moist because the color will make it really dry...which of course leads to breakage.

@rikka1287 This is true and the dye dries out and can damage all textures of hair because my mom and best friend are natural and the dye makes their hair feel very crispy like if they don't keep it moisturized good enough, especially on natural hair which already sucks up moisture on it's own

@drummojb And that is what i am doing now. I am in the process of going natural and tackling dryness is my biggest task. When i can manage that beast then i wanted to do color...adding colors is so cute but it can be very damaging. Thats why i tell everyone relaxed or natural...know your hair before adding color....so managing the color wont be a hard task

@rikka1287 yea i went natural 8 months ago and cut off all my permed ends so my roots(the natural hair) is jet black because the relaxer bleached my hair a brownish color over the years and I was thinking dying my hair like a honey or blondish color like my mom has her hair now but i'm afraid of the effects the dye will have on my hair. My friend who's natural and dyed uses some conditioner we got from the ATL hair show last spring it's really good and she still has some left too
