The 3.2 engine in the 159 IS a GM engine, not an Alfa engine! The only reason this one sounds better is because the owner has fitted a special exhaust! The previous 3.2 engine, fitted to the GT and 166 was a real Alfa engine and sounded superior to the stock 159 3.2.

@tonyrome67 the only thing from GM is engine block, all other was made by magician from Aresse, yes busso 3.2 sound beter but now due to new euro standard we have direct fuel system.If you can rememer a lot of people was disipoinetd with start of TS engines in mid 80s, carburator enginenes soundid much better and now they said TS better than JTS. 1.6 1.8 TS and 2.4 diesel also got Fiat block engine.For me it doesnt mater who made block a touch from ARESSE inside gave them HEART AND SOUL ! ! !

Alfa motori sono niente di speciale, ci sono motori migliori in questo mondo. La Honda 4 cilindri , senza un turbo, del tipo "R" è 200bhp è solo 1997cc 4 cilindri. im dicendo non alfa non è buona , im solo dicendo vi sono altre persone in questo mondo che sanno anche sulle automobili.
