Have nx7400 year and few months. Good laptop, but hdd died within first 6 months, take it back on quaranty and disk was repaired and data saved. And there was problem working with Vista, when going to standby it freze, updateing of bios fixed it. Next laptop probably will be HP.
Tried it along with dv2125nr and dv8235nr all 3 laptops have had problems and no install disks tried using recovery disks made by your program and only 1 of the 3 set worked when checking right after creation called support answer - BUY THE RECOVERY DISKS - no thanks I have sold all 3 Laptops and went to another brand. HP has gone down in quality and support trying to save money is normal but you are losing customers at least 1 - me thank you

i have this model of compaq, it's excellent, i got it in 2006 and it's still operating perfectly, she´s my baby LOL
