@3000fireguy You can compare them because they are the same series. The story of R2 had many flaws when you compare it to the story the first game set. And even the multiplayer was brought down a lot. The first game was better for more skilled people. Where someone who was more accurate with a carbine could dominate. Where in R2 the aiming system was more point and spray with highly inconsistent damage.

I'm pretty sure noone invaded anyone since according to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, Eastern Europe (including my country, Estonia) were in the Russians' sphere of interest. The chimera disease started when a scientist in Russia was implementing the virus on humans. Things didn't turn out like his research said, and the disease was created and spread all around the continent. The humans that were infected by the disease are all controlled by one Chimera called "Deadalus."
Although Deadalus isn't revealed in the first game. You find out about him in the second game. In the first game, the chimeran invasion is still a mystery. You should play em :)

Ya, Malikov started the whole war basically lol. But how he got the samples of the chimeran DNA still remains a mystery. And yes, he created daedalus because he injected the Chimeran DNA in a soldier's body but the DNA seemed to reject it, and it turned him into Daedalus. He also injected the same virus into Nathan Hale, but Hale turned out fine.

No, the chimeran infestation started in Russia, and it was Malikov that started the progression of the virus. Plus, there is Superhuman in RFOM. You have to beat hard mode, and then you unlock it.

Hmm, i have Resistance 1 and 2, but i forget to remember their names, if Grayson is the Main character then he got infected because a bunch of these Insect things took down his squad and killed them, he was the only remaining and he had Yellowish Eye's, well thats mostly how the Main character (Single playing Character) was Infected, if you mean someone else then, i don't know.
well grayson turns chimera too. However I have a good idea to bring Hale back in the 3rd game. After Hale is shot, he is not dead, just unconcious because he has healing capabilities, so while he is unconcious, he is given an inhibitor and goes back to normal (well as normal as a sentinel like him can get) :)

It's about the money. They want a solid return when they publish a game, not to simply entertain.
That and the console market is huge compared to the PC (PC sales take up only about 16% of the whole).
Like it or not, the PC gaming scene is slowly dying :C

The chimera disease started when a scientist in Russia was implementing the virus on humans. Things didn't turn out like his research said, and the disease was created and spread all around the continent. The humans that were infected by the disease are all controlled by one Chimera called "Deadalus."
Although Deadalus isn't revealed in the first game. You find out about him in the second game. In the first game, the chimeran invasion is still a mystery. You should play em :)

Ya, Malikov started the whole war basically lol. But how he got the samples of the chimeran DNA still remains a mystery. And yes, he created daedalus because he injected the Chimeran DNA in a soldier's body but the DNA seemed to reject it, and it turned him into Daedalus. He also injected the same virus into Nathan Hale, but Hale turned out fine.
I'm also deeply obsessed with both Resistance games. LOL I've beat both on superhuman. Do you have the first one?

No, the chimeran infestation started in Russia, and it was Malikov that started the progression of the virus. Plus, there is Superhuman in RFOM. You have to beat hard mode, and then you unlock it.

@FusionReload basicallly a comet thing hit siberia and chimera start coming out of it and destroy whole towns over night, then russia closes its borders and other countries thing their up to summot then it breaks out and takes over europe, hale is an american soldier who comes to england with others to fight of the chimera he gets comatosed in a ditch with other soldiers then he gets infected but somehow survives and bascially you wonder around england destrying chimeran bases.

Hmm, i have Resistance 1 and 2, but i forget to remember their names, if Grayson is the Main character then he got infected because a bunch of these Insect things took down his squad and killed them, he was the only remaining and he had Yellowish Eye's, well thats mostly how the Main character (Single playing Character) was Infected, if you mean someone else then, i don't know.

well grayson turns chimera too. However I have a good idea to bring Hale back in the 3rd game. After Hale is shot, he is not dead, just unconcious because he has healing capabilities, so while he is unconcious, he is given an inhibitor and goes back to normal (well as normal as a sentinel like him can get) :)
