  • who cares what cashcrandle said, he's gonna die anyway...

  • boring

  • this is so very perfect.

  • In my opinion, that was pretty shit. No melody whatsoever.

  • @AdamPhool I heard melody, maybe we have different definitions of what melody is

  • his voice sounds like neil young's in this remix.....at times, which is cool.

  • listen to this on shrooms and you will understand.

  • @BootsyMcSwain you don't need drugs to appreciate good music

  • @Transpacity did I ever say you do?

  • amazing. must be a serious compliment to be asked to do a radiohead head considering the names on board.

  • The chorus goes really well with an MMA workout routine. Not that it's good, but one day near we may need those skills. Yes, I know sound crazy!

  • still shine to this!

....n its nearly Fall over herel... ; )

  • @CashCrandle Lol you are such a fool sir. I am a musician and have been playing many instruments for a long time. I also program electronic music, and I can tell you IT'S JUST AS DIFFICULT as any instrument I've ever played.I also wonder how you can criticize masterpieces of sound like The King Of Limbs while your favorites section is the whoes who of shitty music and overated dubstep. Broaden your horizons of electronic music and music in general, and than make a comment that isn't idiotic.

  • piss poor rmx

  • maybe all these covers(pictures) are actually part of a bigger picture

    forming some kind of puzzle

    that would be interesting.

  • great tune. nathan did a good job.

  • I like this music cause it makes me move,

n sends the crows flying every which way...

Well they wake me up at 4 am,

this is how I get back at them!

I've a sinister sense of humor,

more than they do lol!! ; )

  • Technology's a ubiquitous force in contemporary life. Why shouldn't it be in our music?

  • just listening for the 5th time in a row! so fantastic!

  • @cvodraj - I lost count.

  • I love it when people complain that radiohead use Electronic drums. And then demand Jonny play more Electronic Guitar.

  • @CashCrandle do you even know who Nathan Fake is?

  • There's not one remix I've heard that I haven't liked. It's difficult to favor one in particular when they're all so different, distinctive and unique.

  • Fake's overrated, i don't get it. Love to see what Holden would do with some Radiohead stems however, even more so when they get off their krautrocky, warm, fuzzy analog trip. Everyone changes i guess, but there's gold Holden has found, that he's left (and shouldn't!) behind (the wheel, a break in the clouds). Maybe i'm retarded, i don't know...I guess I just like intricate detail in my music, not the sounds of some dudes dicking around with fuzzy analog signals thinking they've found a style.

  • So this CashCrandle guy is quite a cunt, right?

  • This is easily the best remix so far. Been pretty disappointed by the rest, especially taking into account the calibre of the artists.

  • so far with all these RMXs this one is my favourite

  • can't hear the Music over them...

    but i've got a volume button i can turn up!! ; ))

  • @CashCrandle Well your "truth" is entirely opposing to the views of most of the people commenting and viewing this video. Please go watch something you do enjoy rather than being hateful here.

  • now now dears...

I hear the crows in my neighbors tree,

    rustling their feathers n cawing...

looking around as usual for something to enjoy.

Stop your conversation for just a sec...

    n listen to this

Aw c'mon you know you love it when i dance into the wall lol! ; )

  • Trust in NATHAN FAKE ... Trust in Radiohead ;)

  • @CashCrandle No, I'm basing it off the fact that a whole bunch of people are telling you to fuck off in these YouTube comments.

I'm not even going to address the rest of your comment ("bragging" - what the heck are you talking about?) because you're either a troll or an idiot. Your gibberish is wasting my time. I don't understand why your so determined to insult other people simply because they hold different tastes than yourself.

  • come to buenos aires!!

  • @CashCrandle You do realise that your view is a minority right? I personally love Radiohead's new direction (not that I didn't also love their older stuff). I don't understand why you seem so utterly unable to comprehend the idea of people enjoying this. If you don't like it, why don't you just listen to music you do enjoy rather than being an asshole and trying to insult others?

  • I feel sorry for the people who assume no guitars= OMG NOT REAL MUSIC!!!1 because they must be totally ignorant as to what music really is.

  • very nice remix ...good stuff

  • good stuff *lotusflower dance*

  • Somebody has heard Radiohead song "fall away" (Youtube) ??

    IT S JUST EXCELLENT !!

  • come to indonesia Radiohead, pleaseee......

  • oh god its just past 5 am over here,

n there's the crows who woke me up...

just waiting for me to bounce to this tune across the room into the wall...

They get a big kick out of that!

  • I pushed my headphones to my ears with my hands while listening. So awesome!

  • Best remix yet

  • where can i get this???

  • i hear crows every morning

    cawing n cawing about whatever....

    they start before dawn...

    monsters!

    i'm awake Reluctantly...

But then they get me going!!

    n then they fly off!!!

  • If you like this music checkout The Runaway by Regret The Hour

  • Well done. Possibly my favorite remix thus far. It captures the overall feel of the original and puts it in a new light. Well done indeed.

  • and NATHAN FAKE REMIXED IT FUCK YEAH

  • triggering samples on a drum pad requires more creative input then playing guitar?...

Really man? pull your head out of your ass...

  • @scuzbagMRTHRFCKR not just triggering them creating them and arranging them its sort of like composing in a way but thanks for being ignorant to how its done btw how does your ass smell?

  • So I guess the new definition of a remix is a completely new song with the vocals played over it. (Incidentally, the vocals are the worst part of Mr. Magpie. His stupid sneering tone makes me rage (and I am a huge Radiohead fan))

  • No good. Then again, even the original isn't that great...

  • ...song made me think about smoking and why I stopped.

  • <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • I like this one, good job.

  • Does anyone else think Radiohead is recently becoming a bit abstract? Like records like these and "Staircase"..

  • that really sucks

  • This is a great re-mix, Morning Mr Magpie is my favourite song by Radiohead

  • @CashCrandle Go Listen to some dubstep instead! You don't deserve that brain of yours when you are just going to neglect it like that.

  • @twistedH3L1X KOL doesn't sound anything like Autechre

  • @getcarty Within the realm of ALL MUSIC EVER COMPOSED, PLAYED or RECORDED, the only difference is one has vocals. I admit there's a distinction between current RH and Autechre if you are a fan of electronic music, as I am, but in THE BIG PICTURE, I consider them to be in the same field. Hope that clarifies.

  • Sorry, peeps, I'm gonna side with CashCrandle on this one. I know this is a remix, but KOL is nothing new under the sun. While I have loved a vast many RH songs, KOL is just not up to the standard they have set for themselves. The emperor is not wearing any clothes. Autechre did it all better.

  • reminds me of zelda ocarina of time. that part inside of the deku tree

  • @CashCrandle This isn't Radiohead's mix. It's Nathan Fake's. Dumb ass.

  • It's red, yes red...

  • THANK YOU

  • warm and fuzzy like Holden's remix of Reckoner . nice job Nathan, nice :D

  • Nathan Fake, yes.

  • @CashCrandle Programming computers to play music is just as difficult and time consuming as recording a guitar, drum, vocal or any other track.

I bet you've never made your own music -- that is as complex as what Radiohead write -- on a either computer or on 'actual instruments', so how can you possibly say that one is easier than the other?

Besides, this is a REMIX that is not performed by Radiohead. If you don't like it, then there are plenty of other songs that you can listen to instead.

  • Dark inside of radiohead,or Nathan

  • sounds come out of my speakers text into the computer.

  • @CashCrandle They actually use a lot of samplers both live and in studio.

  • @CashCrandle 1.Good =/= what you like

    2.Bad =/= what you don't like

3.These beats are simple compared to what Yorke listens to.

4.They already use the radio as an instrument. Search 'Radiohead National Anthem Live' and you'll see what I mean.

5.What on earth is a bad instrument? Is there a set of criteria by which instruments should be judged, or should we peasants just refer to you (seeing as you are clearly the authority on the topic) when we want to see if an instrument is good or not?

  • @CashCrandle "It's just a question of using the tools that are available when they're available. More and more now, there's all kinds of electronic goodies which are available for people like us to use if we can be bothered, and we can be bothered".

-Roger Waters, Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii

Sorry, random quote that came to mind.

  • if you're reading this Nathan, you're awesome.

  • @CashCrandle

Well, opinions aside, give 'em a shot. I mean, try KOL, In Rainbows, Hail To The Thief, all of it. They do a great job mixing electronic/rock music. Personally, I find their first two albums boring. Everything after that, though, I dig.

  • @xLordOfTheFliesx Theyre first 2 albums arent the same, but its still Radiohead. You can even hear some of OK Computer in The Bends. So I happen to like theyre first 2 albums, because it was the beginning of Radiohead.

  • @MyTacosRule

Fair enough. But they are not that band anymore. They've grown up. They are still Radiohead, but, obviously, they are a much different band. Anyhow. Did you try them?

  • @xLordOfTheFliesx Yeah thats what I'm trying to say. Did itry what?

  • @MyTacosRule

New albums I mean. Well worth a few repeated listens.

  • @xLordOfTheFliesx Oh yeah of course! I'm quite the Radiohead fan.

  • way way way nicer than the other remixs.

  • @CashCrandle who exactly do you think you are? santa claus of instruments, who decides which ones are naughty or nice?

drum machines are an integral part of modern music and are used creatively and ingeniously by thousands of artists, Radiohead included, ever since Kid A. or are you going to say that Idioteque is a "bad" song because of the electronic beat?

oh and by the way, jonny does use an FM radio during the live version of The National Anthem. so yeah. shows how much you know.

  • @CashCrandle

Umm no. Everything from Kid A on has been great. Computers/drum machines ARE instruments.

  • @CashCrandle this is a remix lol....radiohead doesn't use drum machines i'm pretty sure

  • @palbo4 radiohead has used drum machines on every album since Kid A..

  • @danielinsporto really? i honestly couldn't tell, i mean they have a great drummer after all i don't see why they'd need to

  • @palbo4 its not about needing to, its just a stylistic choice. also they mix live drumming with programmed drums quite a lot. one obvious example is 15 Step

  • I liked this the most out of all 5 remixes :)

  • @CashCrandle fuck off. Drums machines are instruments, keyboards are instruments. Just because they're not guitars doesn't mean they don't take any less creative input to play, if anything they require more.

  • @TheTazMonkey How would you know dude, you're a Tasmanian monkey..

  • @willzer808 hur hur. I have no shame in my username. Green eggs and ham.

  • @TheTazMonkey I agree with you

  • @TheTazMonkey and not even an fucking computer for djing is no instrument, because theres a lot of love in the turning the faders delaying something, some distortion or echos, resonators, loopers, flangers and stuff...hmbut radiohead is god

  • @TheTazMonkey How does pressing a button take more creative input to play than hitting a drum?

I don't hate keyboard or drum machines but you need to stop making ridiculous claims :)

  • @Nerazzurri988 How about programming a MIDI drum machine to produce an incredibly complicated rhythm? It still requires great musicality despite not being an "acoustic" instrument. I'd like to see you make something like this.

  • @Nerazzurri988 Ridiculous comment. Computers/drum machines, are simply different tools to create music. You can't just ask a computer to create a Radiohead song. Musical creativity isn't determined by the instruments you use, but rather how you use them.

  • @schoenapan how I agree with you. I am a bass player, but I also learned to make music with a computer: it's two different ways to create, but both are REAL MUSIC.

  • @TheTazMonkey Drum machines? Sure about that?

  • @radioheadkids2 Yes.

  • @TheTazMonkey and "any one can play guitar" so it's not a must to use it :)

  • meh
