Strange how just hearing the first line of a song makes memories come flooding back, Ooo ....if I knew then what I knew now life would be so different lol
This was the first recored my husband brought me . back then we were just teenagers starting out. Now we have 4 kids and a mortgage. Oh to be young again.
They faded out too quickly before the end of the song..I am in my late 20s and my mother had this song on a Vinyl LP called Love Is, a compilation album of songs which came out in 1981, two years before I was born and she still has the album, it was made by a company called K-Tel, great song and the album has a load of other great tracks from different artists on it, Roxy Music, REO Speedwagon, Bread etc.
Heard this song on Radio Australia in Sept 1980 and fell in love with the song rite away. tho the song was inside me forever ever after, hearing it again now after 25+ years brought back soooooo many mem'ries of Radio Australia. Thanks for this post.
My Dad was also a D.J. at that time and always played this as it was my favourite at the time - Dad always remembered. Good to hear and see the video again..thanksX
