  • i was going to get the corsair 750 PSU...but i am not sure whether to get corsair HX750 or Corsair TX750....what is the difference ????

  • @ixy1987 - One is modular and one isn't I think.

  • @arvutihull yeah, i notice that but is there any difference in terms of quality and limitation of connections provided ??

  • @ixy1987 - No there isn't I think.

  • @ixy1987 you don't get limited by the connections, the good side of modular psu are that they give you an ability do disconnect unwanted or unneeded cables, great for case airflow and cable managment i have a hx 850 works like a charm :D

  • I have 5 fans an intel DHH55t 100$, do most power supplies have cables to connect the fans in case the motherboard doesnt have enough slots for the fans

  • what the hell is that 4

  • @bxvitor - To delivery power to all system components.

  • I need one of these =S

My PSU keeps dying on me... damn stupid 500W peice of shit

  • Does anyone know if this has problems with HP Pavilion Elites in particular? I want to upgrade to this psu.

  • @bigguyviet100 - No it will work.

  • is this compatible with a intel core 2 quad processor? sorry im noob.

  • @bigguyviet100 - Yes.

  • It would have been helpful if you actually showed the power supplies different cables and what its capable of powering with the different connectors. This video focuses on the accesories

  • This is an unboxing video, not overview.

  • just bought this a hour ago, hopefully it dosent get fucked up by shipping.

  • You should have bought the HX750. I really don't know the difference between the HX en TX versions but the HX versions are a bit more expensive. I myself have the HX850W and before that i had the HX620W from corsair. Corsair has one of the best PSU's. I fuckin love their PSU's. Nice unboxing video but the background noise is irritating. Is that your pc making that noise?

  • Unfortunately this isn't the PSU that I'm using, I used it in a custom build for a client. But I have a HX1000W arriving hopefully tomorrow for my gaming PC :-)

The background sound was caused by my old camcorder.

  • the difference between the TX and HX (that i know) is that TX isnt modular while the HX is

  • Dunno what i have to say.... i have it and goes warm fast and a lot..It makes me worry a bit

  • hey man nice psu. you think this psu is also good fro me ?

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

    ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo

    G.Skill 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-pin DDR2 1066

    GeForce GTX 260+ 216core 896MB

    Western Digital SATA 1TB

    i oc cpu.

  • Yes.

  • yes kamthegreat i think i can recommand you this one i have read real good reviews about it. it can handle increadible stress and keeps very cool.

altough not modulair it is worth its price im sure of that.

  • wow almost same build im about to build.

    Q9650 (2.83)

    p51 pro turbo

    g skill 4GB 1066

    HD4890

    segate 500GB HDD

    :D

  • thx for all the info wont bother you anymore

  • No problem with the info, thanks for subscribing! :-)

  • btw just went to your channel im getting the same cpu heatsink is it good i read a few reviews they say its awesome

  • Yes it's great, I'm currently waiting for an Arctic Silver 5 and a faster fan to make a video of it's cooling performance.

  • i am getting the same psu but my question is can i sli with this psu later

    i have i7 920,gtx 295,p6t deluxe v2,ocz platinum memory

  • For GTX 295 Quad SLi it's a bit weak, I'd recommend at least the 850W or 1000W version.

  • thx but if i dont get a quad sli but do overclocking on cpu and gpu that wouldnt be a problem for this psu

  • Yes it won't be a problem.

  • thx man

  • No problem!

  • 400-500

  • The end of the power cord looks a lot different than the ones in the States.

  • Yes, US have their own standard for power cords.

  • yo, you will be fine with this, i'm currently running amd phenom 9950be @ 3.0ghz, 4gb ddr2-1066, 250gb sata hdd, LG sata dvd-rw, four 120mm fans, one 140mm fan, and my gtx 260 core 216 on a ocz stealth extreme 500w psu it's been stable for five months now, no problems.

  • For 9800 GTX get at least a quality 600W PSU.

  • You don't need powerful PSU to run this stuff. A quality 500W would be more than enough. I'd recommend Corsair's 520W PSU for your setup, it would be good for future upgrades also.

  • what would you prefer corsair 750watt or antec 750watt

  • Corsair 750W.

  • Sweet ! Still waiting for mine from Tiger Direct ! It's the only thing missing from my new build. UGH !

  • sir is it modular?? nd can i run 2 4870 1gb or 2 4890 here?? PLS REPLY!!

  • It's not modular. You can run 4870 or 4890 crossfire wihout problems with this PSU.

  • wow!! thanks man!!!

  • Dude how was the PSU?

plz don't tell me you gave it away :(

  • I didn't used it myself. It was a client build where I used this PSU. So I don't know how it was. Corsair has the best PSU's on market so it definately is a very good power supply.

  • can this psu handle ati hd 4870 1gb ? and if i got a new case with the psu window on top is it better then bottom ?

what about the fan of the psu is it up or down ?

    thanks

  • Yes, this PSU can handle 4870 1GB. There's no difference where you put the PSU, it's fine on top as well it's fine on bottom. PSU's fan should be able to get air so it must be up if you mount it on bottom and it must be down if you mount the PSU on top.

  • oh i see , thanks alot man

  • is it ok to have the psu upside down?

  • Yes, just make sure that the PSU's fan can get air.

  • what do you mean by "make sure that the PSU's fan can get air" ? if the fan is down and i put the psu upside down so the fan will be up cuz the case i will get got the psu on bottom , is it safe ? is that what you mean by it gets air ?

    thanks

  • Yes.

  • alright thanks man

  • Hey, I have that power supply! I really wish it were modular though, cause cable management in the Antec Nine Hundred is a bitch.

  • How bout GTX295 sli? Can this PSU handle it?

  • I'm pretty sure that it could handle 9800 gx2 SLi but pretty surely it can't handle GTX 295 SLi.

  • I have herd that some people have like 2 of these to handle GTX 295's My brother has got 2 GTX 285's and this one can handle it.

  • i did some research and it wont handle 295 SLI cuz each of it a dual cores and its actually a quad SLI........

  • I think it may actually be able to,the 295 suggests +45 amps on +12V rail I believe, and this PSU has +60A,I believe that extra power SHOULD be enough to power a 2nd 295 depending on what else is in the PC

  • i have the same power supply but im wondering if this PSU can handle TRI SLI with no problems.... any comments?

  • I'm pretty sure that it won't be enough for triple-sli setup... maybe it will be enough for 9800 GTX+ triple-SLi setup, but i'm not sure.

  • Is that fan on top of it going to be up or down? sorry my noobish question..

  • depends on case... if your PSU has to be mounted on top it must be down, if your PSU has to be mounted down then it must be up.

  • i have the Cooler Master Cosmos 1000, it has to be mounted at the bottom of the case, but i think the fan would be down anyway, because its a ventilation thing there under it, which the fan can take air from.

  • yes, Cosmos 1000 allows it to take air from outside of case. It should increase airflow in case too.

  • Yeah, and that should be even better, cause it would get fresh air from outside the case :)

  • i bought one like that. today. and they are really great:D

  • Holding as well a phenom 9850,4gb corsair 1066 and the Radeon HD 4850?

  • I don't own this PSU, my current PC's specs are: CPU: AMD Phenom 9850 BE at 2835mhz CPU cooler: Zalman CNPS9700 NT GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 Motherboard: ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe Memory: 2GB Corsair 5-5-5-18 (second memory module sent to warranty - will be back soon) PSU: Chieftec CFT-850-14C 850w HDD: 300GB Maxtor 7200 rpm DVD Drive: LG GSA-H55L 20x DVD writer Hardcano 13 Case: Chieftec GH-01BW-OP +4 fans ...soon i'm going to upgrade to Core i7.
  • plz men send to me the weight?

i live in brasil...and i will purchase in EUA...

    tHanks :D

  • I can't check the weight of this PSU but I searched google and found that it's 3,4kg - not very sure about this but it sounds like truth, the PSU was pretty heavy.

  • oo. i was gonna get one of these. so thats how it looks. i like how you presented the piece of foam :)

  • Thanks! :)

  • i cant believe it 60amps on 1 12v rail thats kick ass im buying 1

  • Oh god!! Its not modular , damn.

  • norm toitekas!

  • NAISS again!

  • Tänud! :)
