  • I enjoyed the Clone Wars movie and series, but for the originals, Empire Strikes Back was my favorite :)

  • BUT After Ahsoka got her re-design to entice older kids....The clone wars got a little more mature...

  • Phantom Menace bad? NOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Its made for kids so its okey for it to suck.. hmm hmm... i call it being LAAAAAAAZY

  • I think in Ep 1 and 2 the droids are actually quite (not serious) but less jokey and "comic relief-y" than in Ep 3.

  • @joevictor53 is was not Lucas that wanted the clone wars movie to be in the theater. Fox pushed it thinking they would be able to cash in on a big summer star wars release

  • I agree with Blunty but not everything made for TV works as a film to be released in cinemas. If they'd released this as an extra long pilot on tv, it probably would've got good reviews. But because Lucas was all "money money money" and decided to put it into cinemas, it will be reviewed as a theatrical feature film. If they'd made this a shorter simpler version of the clone wars and had the TV series the extended version, I guarantee it would've got good reviews.

  • Watch the series instead

  • How is anything worse than the Phantom Menace?

  • ok.....but the whole star wars saga wasn't meant to be for kids like blade runner star wars has alien creatures but that doesn't meant is supposed to be for kids...george lucas because of ego or whatever...decided to make these horrible three movies....sometimes just because technology like cgi is available doesn't have to be use 90% of the story

  • The whole prequels were designd for kids. I was 16 back then when I saw Episode 1for the first time and I still thought it was horrible and had nothing to do with Star Wars as I knew it. In the beginning I coudn't hate it and I was forcing myself to like it, but it consumed to much energy and I had to stop lie to myself and finaly admit that it was one of the most horrible movies ever made.

George Lucas made with the prequels nothing more than a remake of Howard The Duck in space.

  • You got that completely right about the Rottentomatoes critics

  • The phantom menace was OK it wasn't great but it wasn't atrocious...at least it wasn't as bad as attack of the clones but the phantom menace truthfully I got bored halfway through and I was ten at the time so I was DYING to see it...revenge of the doth was good though that movie kicked ass...but compared to the originals the prequels are a piece of crap

  • @applejive43 common you mean to tell me a really young kid wether he's the chosen one or not can really drive a ship..? i'm for it's just a movie's sake but sometimes.making movies featuring littel kids and making them kinda smartter than adults is annoying

  • I agree.

  • what have people got aganist the phatmon menace i liked it please tell me what was wrong with it and i that topic what have people got aganist the prequels they were GREAT.

  • @duelmaster742 phantom*

  • @duelmaster742

Watch RedLetterMedia's reviews of the prequels. He explains everything in great detail .Plus, the videos themselves are hilarious.

  • Lucas should have made a (live-action) movie for Force Unleashed instead. That would have been fucking fantastic. Clones Wars already had a TV show and it was great, but he seems to insist on kicking a dead horse.

  • You know your hairstyle and mustache goatee combo is very similar to Robert Downey Jr's as Tony Stark...

  • As a TV episode for teen kids who love violence Clone Wars is a fun movie. For a theatrical movie, it was not that good. The Phantom Menace was a great Star Wars film. Most people who hated it were comparing it to the original movies instead of looking at it as a time when war had not existed for hundreds of years. In a pre-revolution/post-revolution universe (aka world) politics is the driving force of society. It's also what evil uses to take power.

  • Stop listening to Rotten Tomatoes. Nevermind whether or not the movie was good, that company is filled with a bunch of douchebags who're paid criticize movies as harshly as possible.

  • my only issue is there is wut about 20 yeas between episode 3 and 4 . thats when they should have the story in my oppinion clown war was taken care of already

  • @whitekodiak they are gonna cover that in the new live action series

  • When I watched the film I actually more or less thought it was average.

Its not the best plot ever. And its aimed at kids. But on a star wars basis. Its average. Although personally I actually wish they continued the cartoon Clone wars series they did for a short time. That was a cartoon but yet it worked for adults as much as children. Infact in the cartoon. Pacifically season 2 of it. They actually had 1 or 2 parts where it seemed a bit to graphic for a children's show.

  • hey i love this movie oh wait i'm 12 lolz, but people should stop hating, i luv all the star wars movies

  • The prequels as a whole, suck ass.

  • He looks like Wes Craven.

  • I like all of the star wars movies I just don't like the new trilogy as much as the original one.

  • never seen this movie, never will

this was the beginning of the end for me liking star wars

i used to be a huge star wars nerd but..... the clone wars movie...no just no...

  • @kingoftube96 Too bad for you. Nothing can rape a childhood. Those original movies are still available, still exist, and this movie does not change that.

  • Movie critics are always there to criticize on the smallest things but really, the ratings in rotten tomatoes as you said for this movie is too damn harsh.

Honestly, I enjoyed this movie a lot even though it was made for kids.

  • i agree with you i saw it and i felt the same way when i saw it even though i was 11 when i saw it

  • Its a kids film? Well Barney is a kids show, still dosen't make it better or worse.

  • i thought phantom menace was a good movie not the best but good

  • I quite like the series, but I think we need a darker clone wars series with a more realistic focus and not about the Jedi..I've had enough of the Jedi! I want some good Clone Stories! Maybe follow a Battalion from the start of the war to order 66?

  • 10/10 awsome movie best ever

  • Batman the animated series(1990's) & Gargoyles, 2 saturday morning cartoons that werent retarted.

  • @SKLMUNKY agreed

  • @SKLMUNKY YES!!! i loved gargoyles. Why does cartoon network take shows like that and gives us *shudders* ben 10...

  • @megabobu when you compare the 2 it becomes obviouse, B10 has a simple(lazy) style & with producers thinking Kid's are idiots, the story & events in the show are dumbed down to the point of insulting the inteligents of the young audience.

believe me kid's arent stupid, but they gradually become stupid when all they have to watch is crap television.

  • @SKLMUNKY you are right, but here is the disturbing parts.

My 14 year old friend loves B10

My 5 year old cousing loves B10

    I absolutly hate B10

My friends 10 year old brother loves B10.

I feel like my whole generation is populated by a bunch of retards. Urgh...

  • @megabobu I know how you feel, when I discovered how big the fanbase was I was a little shocked.

until I realized, there is nothing else on cartoon network, Dizney, & Nick but crap.

little kids arent going to know it's crap so they end up liking it.

  • @megabobu u talking bout ben10 i used to like it when i was 10, when i turned 11 i realized what utter crap it was, much like anything else on CN except for Clone wars which i really like, oh and my 7 yr old cousin likes it i mean all of these cartoons have nothing different, i never laugh at any of those supposed comedy cartoons, i miss stuff like courage the cowardly dog, ed edd n eddy, time sqaud, etc etc etc u know what i am talking about

  • @nukeboy14 yes, ur 11 and hate B10, but my friend is 15 (now) and loves it. CN thinks every child is now an idiot, and decided to bring the shows the audience they THINK they are addressing will like. I do miss cowardly dog.... and johnny bravo too, that show had a weird funny sense to it "lol, he got tassed again"

  • When this movie came out nobody considered that was the launch episode for a kicking ass series! The Clone Wars series is really good!

  • Is it just me or is blunty trying his best not to hate the movie he saw?

  • ssssssssssssssssssssssuuuuuck

  • Approach it like a kid? Of course you'll like it then. You'll pretty much be fascinated by EVERYTHING if you approach things like a child. You already discredited your own review by using the old "critics should make their own movie if they hate it so much" argument. Usually when that argument is brought out, it's a last gasp when you have no other valid defense to offer for a film so bad. -Oh, and the best performance in the entire new trilogy was given by Ian McDiarmid.

  • the battle droids made me chuckle a bit TBH

    I mean after while

    yeah they were annoying

but I think they SHOULD HAVE BEEN comedy relief

I mean that voice they have just screams it

  • Ok, everyone likes to bash on the first 3 episodes, and yes, parts were TERRIBLE (dialog I'm looking at you). People complain that Anakin is a whiner, but think about it. If you tell a kid at a young age that he's extremely powerful and he's going to fulfill a prophecy, it's going to go to his head. Now try to limit that kid. He's gonna whine.

People also like to complain about the politics but it was necessary. How else would a democracy change into a dictatorship but through politics?

  • Blunty, while I agree that Phantom Menace was a let down. It was saved by Liam Neeson and the excellent final battle that brought back memories of Return of the Jedi's finale.

Star Wars Attack of the Clones is a much, much worse feature IMHO. Not even Ewan trying his hardest could save that waste 'o time. I'd rather have Jar Jar back then have to view Haydon' Anakin, or the lines given to Natalie.

  • this movie is to violent to be a kids movie!!!!!

i mean for example you see how a guy gets a head shot!!!!!

  • Dude, kids see worse things nowadays than a clone trooper getting BOOMED HEADSHOT. Calm it down a bit.

  • Most Kids watch any movie they want. 12 Year old kids watch Saw and other horror movies. They watch violent movies where people get there fucking heads cut off. This really isn't violent to a kid.

  • lol. Its an hour and a half long toy commercial. and its gonna work.

  • what does he say in 7:57 - 8:00? Did he say star wars 4? O_O

  • @onedaysnotice44 "Force Unleashed."

  • the animated series is better than the clone wars movie....

  • My mate Dougie has the same hoodie. Lol.

  • Another issue about the movie is that it isn't really a true pilot. The series it self isn't really told in chronological order. It doesn't really happen to be at times. However the movie itself starts with is actually part 2 a story that takes on the planet they are on. If they had actually include that part 1 (which deals with one of the Clones turning on his fellow clones and Obi-wan and Anakin) the film would have been better then it was. Was still and enjoyable film though.

  • pixar doesnt seem to think children are useless morons.

  • so basically you are saying if you lower all expectations of a billionaire filmmaker to making a 20 dollar saturday cartoon then you may actually enjoy the crap he is churning out?.

  • The Darkhorse comics have the best stories for the clone wars. The battle for Jabiim, defense of Kamino, the Quinlan Vos story from beginning to end...

  • lol i thought the droids were halarious. but yea i knew this movie was for kids so i just went to it wanting to see some good battle scenes. im a huge fan of star wars and ive been keeping up with this series

  • Question1: Where does it fit in the timeline? I went in not knowing, & left not knowing. Can't find info online about it either. I read everything i could before RotS; so I know a bit about the order of events. It doesn't seem to fit. George is rewriting EU material it seems.

Mood is destroyed by the announcer. A non-SW intro replaces the SW feeling.

So TPM sucks eh? I just don't get it. 2 elements blew; Lloyd's acting, & some bad editing.

Disagree on politics. It's all about politics

  • Reading EU material fleshes-out intriguing plotlines. Each novelization of a prequel has an usher of it's own. TPM has "Cloak of Deception" AotC has "The Approaching Storm," & RotS has "Labyrinth of Evil." Each very good in developing further depth; if you care, I guess. Politics plays a very important part. IRL it's kept the U.S. in & prevented it from winning wars. Watching politicians in SW universe slowly bow to corruption is metaphor rich in appeal. There are 'Wars' because of politics.

  • Summation: I agree it is for kids. But kids are not stupid. Sure some film must be explained to them, but they'll get it. They're little sponges. I also dig the idea that it's cool to like the kiddie-stuff cuz I was there once. I understand it cuz it's a part of me. I don't know what it's like to be any age older than I am right now. So use what you got; the youthful stuff should still be cool. It'll help one out when they have kids themselves. Hope that makes sense..damn character-count hehe.

  • Yes kids are not stupid, but they're not intelligent either. They dont need to see intricate plots unfold before them because odds are they wont undrstand them. As long as they see a few things go KA BOOM! they'll be ok and they'll buy action figures and toys. They dont buy or read the books, or research the timeline like hardcore fans, they just love the action. Eye candy is pleasing to a child. Thats pretty much the reason it fits into the timeline as well as I'd fit into an extra small shirt.

  • dude i was able to understand star wars 4 when i was 7

  • Lucas must have forgotten that there will be old school Star Wars fans watching this movie which is why he tried to cover his ass by re-writting the timeline. Many events that happened in previous explanations of the clone wars have either vanished completely with no evidence or changed very much. But there is nothing we can do about it now. I myself really liked the movie and am currently LOVING the series, and dont get me wrong, im a complete Star Wars nerd.

  • g lucas was drunk when he made this,he didnt make an effort,if u want to make a star wars series make one that goes with the history of star wars, dont fuck it up by adding anikans "aprentice" asoka that new character COMPLETELY blew me away she fuckin sucks and completely fucks up the history and th clones are HORIBLE they give the old clones a bad name

  • It IS designed for children!!! Only those reviewers DO NOT GET THAT!!! They only see the bad parts, but there are also good parts!!! So if they stop whining and crying because they think George Lucas is ruining Star Wars, they can actually enjoy it!!!

I don´t agree with the droids however. They do have very funny comments.

And SOMEONE has to do the comic relief!!

choose: it's either Jar Jar or the droids.

And I do not see what's wrong with the Phontom Menace(OK Jar Jar) but what more?

  • so what do you think of the series???

  • The classic's and prequals are cool but this cartoon one sucks!

  • why does eveyone always rag on phantom menace? I really didnt think it was that bad and i dont understand where all this hate on it comes from..

  • that was so good it made me cry

  • You are probably the most fair and honest reviewer I have ever heard in my life

  • THANK YOU BLUNTY

movie critics are snobs that will not even rate something based on who its geared towards

George Lucas dosent care about the reviewers at rotten tomatoes! hes laughing his ass off and screaming FUCK YOU while swimming in his pile of money like scrooge mcduck. George is making money and the rotten tomatoes at the site(the reviewers)are not. Its a movie for kids of course your not gonna like it your a 40 year old slob who reviews movies and has no life!

  • I liked the movie, it defintley was for kids, i really liked it cause I was 11 at the time. But I'm 13 and I still like it. But I thought the droids were funny, but bothersome. The movie had two really good action scenes. I thought the third star wars was the best, but I like the first half better, and the TV show is pretty good, I am looking forward two the second season. And I am a hardcore star wars fan. And i bought the force unleashed and I love, it was an intense game!

  • Very good and objective review!

  • i hated this movie. what i hated most about it was that why didn't what happens to ashoka tano in episode 3. they better think up a damn good excuse. and she's never fucking metioned in episode 3 i think this movie should have never happened. i was 12 when i saw this and i still hated it. but i quite liked the prequals. Episode 3 is my fav film or 6.

  • Shift Delete... All clone wars movies... They never existed...

  • For me that film is a matinee. When I saw this in theater I was 22 and I enjoyed it (while disliked the prequels).

  • Attack of the Clones was sooooo bad... But phantom menace, there were bits i liked... But essentialy all three were meh!

  • yeah orginial trilogy (4,5,6) are much better

  • I think Ashoka was stuffed up

  • you remind me of tony stark, and who dosnt love children's cartoons

  • it was alright if u ask me

  • crappy movie

  • This vid was on my birthday!!!! last year

  • August 15? Thats my birthday too!

  • August 17th! August's rule.

  • Ziro sucks. On the special features disc on the DVD states that the creators ACTUALLY LIKE ZIRO! They also state that they are going to have SEVERAL episodes with him. or is it her?

  • XD dude thats retarded lol and Zeiro is actually being called the gayest character in the star wars universe LMAO so yeah lol

  • lol god the serties kinda has fallen, anakin should have been a better jedi, no offense to any fans of the prequels.

  • star wars is cool and I didn't see anything wrong with the movie.

  • honestly, you just...well, dragged on a very simple truth, and I love you for it.

  • i love star wars and i love the clone wars and i love the force unleashed and im 12 years old

  • I agree with you on this, funnily enough I saw it on a Saturday morning and ejoyed it. The way I see it, it's not a Star Wars film, but as you said a Saturday Morning Cartoon, based in the SW universe.

    Great Review 5/5

  • dude am i the only person who thought the phantom menace was good. i mean what was wrong with it.

  • true i loved it to

  • i didnt mind phantom menace actually lol thought it was pretty good =)

  • yup.

  • how many times did he refer to the whole 'its for kids!!' idea?? Did anyone count? lol

  • Anyone that thinks a lower standard of production is acceptable if it's for kids, only has to look at the work of Pixar to see how wrong that is. I think their lowest rated film on Rotten Tomatoes is at about 95%. Suck on that Lucas, you complacent turd.

That said, my boys (5,7 & 11) all liked the movie and the series.

  • I loved the movie. Sure it didn't have a lot of plot. Star wars movies need to be longer to show and reveal more explanations. It is called the Clone Wars. Nothing but war. But Blunty has really good points in this.

  • hey he's a critic if you don't like what he says then leave it alone don't put negative comments on it don't even mark down it's ratings.

  • yo im 15 i thought this movie was awesome

  • I saw this movie... It is Phantom Menace all over again. But i collected my courage and i watched the series. And do you know what, i kinda liked it. Not super but entertaining. It was less childish then this abom... eh... movie.

But Blunty focusses on it being a serie for kids. WHY? Star Wars shouldn't be for little kids. It should be for geeks, and not for little children. But very well. And that Hutt... it is Jar Jar all over again. :( (which also is in the serie >:( )

  • star wars episode I: Super mega politics

Star wars episode II: A bit of politics

Star wars episode III: Politics strike back

    Star wars episode IV: Minor

Star wars episode V: Smaller then a tick

Star wars episode VI: Can't remember a bit

The clone wars politics was minor but still a bit. I enjoyed star wars the clone wars alot

  • im surprised that he mentioned american classics like Beast Wars and Reboot

  • I would've wanted a darker, more emotional film, like a world war 2 epic.

The clone wars was an incredibly dark, corrupt time period filled with swirling emotions. I would've liked to see more clones question their morals, and have a major moral built into the plot.

  • well the warning signs for ur dissapointment should have been the pg rating

  • empire strikes back was pg and it rocked

  • Since when did PG= bad movie?

  • pg movie doesnt equal bad movie always but i does mean that the story is not gonna be "dark and filled with emotions"

  • Well, no, it doesn't.

I've seen MANY PG-and-lower movies to have very complex storylines complete with dark moments.

  • really?

well i can only go on what ive seen

  • You know what?

Toy Story was designed as a kids movie, and it didn't make me want to throttle myself.

  • Saturday morning cartoon film - no excuse. Pixar has proven several times over you can multi-layer and appeal to kids and adults.

The cartoon does a lot better, actually but - probably because it's not trying to be a film.

  • You know, I reall have to agree with Blunty on this one. The Clone Wars didn't suck! Me and my friends only went to see it originally as a joke and cause we were bored. When i got into the old cartoon lover and Star Wars fan mindset, I actually found myself enjoying PARTS of this movie. I loved the scenes that focused on the Clone Troopers, because lets face it, they were some of the most interesting characters in the Prequal lore.

  • Still, with all of the crap thats been released. I'm pretty sure Georg lucas doesnt care about star wars fans

  • I like politics...

  • i like crisps

  • I like english muffins!

  • swesome

  • sry i mean "AWESOME!"

  • i like bacon! ^-^

  • I like apples =D

  • I Like Pancakes :3

  • jigaboon, omg just let it go. There are hardcore Star Wars fans basically hating you right now. You're not making any since what so ever. Anakin is a Knight on the Council. Jedi Knights are allowed to have Padawans. Get that through your thick ass skull.

  • Godfucking dammit, i have tried to post this question 3 times now and it keeps fucking up...ok...somebody explain to me how Anakin could have a padawan learner when HE was still a padawan. Fuck...this is pissing me off sooooo bad...i realize its for kids, but Mr. Retardo Lucas needs to stop fucking up his own lore...

  • dude, shortly after geonosis, like 2 months later anakin was knighted, and in the movie he is a jedi knight.

  • in revenge of the sith they put him on the council. nobody wanted to put him on the council because he hadnt passed the trials. if i remember correctly, hella members of the jedi council were upset because it had never been done before.

  • obi-wan is on the jedi council, They werent mad at anakin for not passing the trials, he DID pass them. They were mad at him because he is or was the youngest jedi ever to be put on the jedi council

  • Why are we wasting our time trying to convince him? I don't get it. At first i just wanted to answer his question, but he refuses to accept the answer, no matter how correct it is.

If he's trolling us, we just failed hard.

If he's really that clueless, we still lose for wasting our time.

  • that would actually happen a year after geonosis

  • Will somebody please explain to me how the fuck Anakin had a padawan when HE was still a padawan???!! come to think of it, he never really STOPPED being a padawan, just kinda moved to the dark side...

  • In Star Wars Episode 3, he wasn't a padawan, he was a jedi knight. In between episodes two and three, there was a point in time where he became a jedi knight.

  • Bullshit! He never passed the trials necessary to become a Jedi. He still refers to Obi-Wan as "Master" (note that obi wan is a jedi knight, not a member of the council) and Obi-Wan still refers to him as his padawan.

  • Maybe he still calls him master and padawan cause to him he is his padawan and shit. i dunno. but its still a good film

  • he's referring to Obi-Wan as "master" because obi-wan is a master on the jedi council. not specifically because he was anakins own master. Anakin was no longer a padawan by the time episode 3 rolls around, he was a knight. Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen. they can only put so much in these movies.

  • obi wan isnt on the jedi council.

  • Yes he is genius. Go watch the third movie again. Obi Wan is sitting in one of those wierd ass chairs with the rest of the council, discussing what to do with them, because he was a master.

    attack of the clones

-obi wan is a knight, anakin his padawan

2 years go by (this part is key, as it means shit happened we didn't see)

    Revenge

-Anakin is a knight, obi wan is a master, master meaning on the council, hence anakin's anger at not being a master yet being on the council.

    get it?

  • jigaboon, let me show you the evidence that Anakain is a knight and Obi-wan is a master. First off, the hairstyle, padawans have their hair realy short and in a braid to the side, just like Anakain at the end of phantom menace and during attack of the clones. When they become a knight this braid is cut to represent them passing the trials and they are allowed to grow their hair long...i.e how anakain has it in ROTS.

  • Now, when did this all happen. Between episodes 2 and 3 there is a clone wars mini series animation, 25 episodes long, each about 5-10 minuites long and they are officialy part of the story line to explain what happened during the 3 year break between attack of the clones and ROTS. During one of the episodes anakain is knighted and his braid cut . Obi wan becomes a general during the series and is elevated to master level.

  • The plot seemed atrocious to me...I mean, Anakin could NOT have had a padawan, he WAS a fuckin padawan!!!

  • the thing about battle droids is kids cant deal with atomotous killing machines... it scares them. they prefer funny stuff.

  • i liked phantom menace, but totally agree with you on the droids.

  • the phantom menace is not that bad it has Qui Gon Gin in it and its cool

  • woot the film rocks and so does the series :P im 19 btw :P good tv :D

  • cartoons are for kids.. youre reviewing a cartoon.. for kids ..it is aimed for kids... what are you thinking lol.

  • not all cartoons are for kids just look at happy tree friends

  • At least a review i agree, when i saw it and everyone i knew was pissed off, i thought well its a cartoon What do you expect? Even the poster was made to give the impresion it was a children movie.

Some people wanted to see something dark and epic, but in the trailer, and propaganda they NEVER lie, this is a movie for kids, THEY will enjoy it.

  • George Lucas isn't talentless but he is incredibly overrated.

  • i totally agree with you Blunty3000

  • First off, i liked the movie and the TV series. Basicly because it dealt with CW which to this point was just hearsay what happend.

I know ppl complained alot about the animation but what ppl fail to understand is that animation isnt made to be real, should look real because then it defeats its purpouse. The style of this movie and the series animation is Marionette based on Jerry Anderson 50-60s woodendoll animation.

Its ment to look like that to make it more unique.

  • As Blunty said, its made for children. Its a great way of getting a new generation into the franchise. Mainly because of the TV series set to be released in 2010 or something.

People should just stop being so sensitive and actually start think on what group of ppl its aming at.

  • Ever seen the Justice League series?

Also made for children, but still, contrary to Clone Wars, it can be enjoyed by adults as well and its got some pretty cool scenes in it that make it stand out from other childrens shows.

    I'll just say: Cadmus-story-arc. "World of Cardboard"-speech.

Also, putting in a Mary Sue type of character like Ahsoka is pretty much the definition of "epic fail" even for amateur writers. Even in children cartoons. ;)

  • Not a fan of Justice league, or well not a DC fan more or less so i havent seen it.

Giving Anikin Ahsoka was actually the move i waited for, since its in par with the jedi training (Congratz now you get to learn to deal with all the shit i have been through). The Jedi way, since its a childrens movie they usualy make something that children can relate to which they did. I think many read to much into it baseing it all on your first impression with SW.

Children are happy thats something moves

  • The battle driods in The Clone Wars make WALL-E look like the Terminator.

  • starwars is awesome! if you hate it, go kill yourself! you don't know what your missing. star wars the clones wars was kind of awesome. it wasn't that funny as people thought their humor would be. ziro the hutt was so gay he also sounds gay. now thats something we all can agree on. right? and the battles driods are so unfunny they are better at being serious. take the robots from teriminator were so serious, they put ow in ownage. the battle driods should be like the robots from terminator.

  • Star Wars is WAY more than awesome. It is pure greatness.

  • ziro the hut was a total crap and wierd and the battle droids were funny and wtf there driods not jar jars and the tv show duzent make sence its in the wriong order in 1 episode ashoka is there then the next 1 is a carry on and making reference from the ashoka episode and the episode they are in is the preqwuill 2 theclone wars film

  • what you say is true. But only for star wars fans man. Like me and you

  • Here is what Blunty is saying:

If you want a cookie, but everyone who has had the same kind of cookie and says it is horrible tasting. You won't know until you taste it or "see" it for yourself

  • I always really enjoyed the phantom menace and jar jar (gasp). I thought he was pretty funny. This coming from someone who has probably watched the first three movies 100 times. All a matter of opinion though, it looks like I'm outnumbered on this one. Anyway great review as always blunty.

  • I saw this on cartoonnetwork i thought it was shit but after like a few episodes i started to like it =P

  • shhhhhhhh iron-man is talking

  • i love australian people

  • He doesn't sound too australian to me. A bit more like a squat and endangered flightless bird...

  • My 9 year old nephew loves this movie... and it has converted him to a life long Star Wars fan. Mission accomplished.

We quite often discuss the actual 6 movies now... I'm a happy uncle.

  • THANK YOU! Someone finally recognizes that Clone Wars is a KID'S movie! Only thing I disagree with was that I thought Zero was pretty funny and original (and yes, ridiculous).

  • Just cos something is for kids is not an excuse to be shit. Kids don't deserve crap and it grinds on my nerves at how people excuse crap by sayig its for kids. Looney Tunes is not crap, spongebob is not crap.

  • It grinds my nerves how people assume their opinion about something is law. I saw this movie with a pair of 10-year-olds who loved it and raved about it in the parking lot. Kids are not movie critics. They can actually appreciate simple entertainment with nitpicking it apart.

  • the one thing I liked about it was that the clones had more personality. before they were just like the droids silent, and speaking robotic-like.

  • when it comes to merits, y'also gotta admit, Yoda was badass when he dueled Count Dooku at the end

  • was this canon?
