1.what is the recording device that zooms the action in?

2.how do you move the camera so fast? mine is very slow! ( i mean the camera in the "add objects" menu)

1. Camtasia. There is an option you can check that makes it zoom in on your mouse occasionally.

2. If you just click the arrow and hold it, the camera is slow. If you want the camera to move fast, click and hold on the arrow button and drag to the left or right. It lets you move around the world more quickly.

hey i got a project due tomorow and was wondering if you knew how to make a camera move freely and when it gets to a certain object a monster pops out at a certain distance.

do u know how to if its possible to go from game to cutscene? even if tis possibly maybe disable controls? Also do you know how to say i got two swords one thats invisible one tht is. Ones set on his back sword and shield and are visible. When i press enter those should turn invisible and the ones in his hand are now visible. But if i press enter again the ones in his hands should be invisible and on the back visible?

@Navineous1 Depends on how complicated you want the game to be. Making a simple game is pretty simple while making a complicated game is complex. Speaks for itself really.

@tharrington11 Not really, you just have to know how to make one. Also depends on how detailed you want the game to be. If you want a really simple point and click game, then it is easy. I am currently working on a first person shooter that is going to be extremely complicated. I have plans to put AI in the game as well as a vehicle section which I will try to make the vehicle "physics" as realistic as possible. It also has a very good story and will contain cutscenes. So yeah its very complex

This is not something I would recommend. It is hard to do and time consuming. You have to make it in a program and then use biturn to convert it to a file that alice can support. I did this once a long time ago, but when making something, the polygon count is through the roof and slows down the program a TON

Go to Alice . org and download Alice 2.0. Version 2.2 is still a beta version and is not completely polished yet, so get version 2.0.

Well, you can't in this version of alice. The next version (which I believe is still in the beta phase) has that feature though. I actually recorded this using camtasia. All of my other alice movies have been put on youtube unbelievably by other people. For example, the War Zone movie that I made was recorded by someone else and then the file was sent to me so i could post it on youtube. The next movie I make will most likely be recorded using camtasia though.

Yea spore is pretty mad, good thing bout it is that u can install it on 3 computers before maxing out its maximum installations, but all 3 installations have to share the same account, but you can all play on the spore server at the same time :)
