I LOVE PROACTIV. I recommend it to all people suffering with acne! Don't waist your Time trying acne creams and treatments that don't work and only ruin your face with all those harsh chemicals! I have oily skin and mild acne and it worked pretty well for me. And I think it's kinda stupid though that they don't say that your not just buying one package when u buy it. They send it to you again every month for a couple months which I really like. The lotion they send u is really nice but the refining mask doesn't work. It definitely helps redness:)

DONT BUY THIS i have used this for about a year and yess i saw great results, i have tried to switch off it because proactive contains high levels of benzoyl peroxide which is extremely bad for the skin and dries it out causing your skin to over produce oily. i now have terribly oily skin and a few blemishes. when you try to switch off proactiv your skin breakouts terribly this is done on purpose so the company can make you feel as you need this and buy more im trying to switch off and it notfun
I use it too. It did help my skin, most definitely. the refining mask was really what worked the best. But my problem is usually an oily T-zone and just very noticable black-heads. So..I'm still looking for something else because after about a year or two, ProActiv kind of stopped working. i'm switching off different products a lot. But overall, I am pretty thankful to ProActiv and Jessica is right.

Aspirin masks work well, crush up some aspirin & mix with honey. Leave it on your face for 10 minutes. Drink alot of water and get a good sleep. You will notice results in a week

try murad.. it's way more better than this product.. trust me i already tried ussing proactiv but nothing happened and itchy so i tried murad.. but i guess it depends on the type of skin though but you can try this pruduct first and if it didnt work then try murad.. =) advice : sleeping early is good for the skin.. =)

I do get one every 3 weeks. Its helps to renew your skin. But the good thing about Proactive is that it can actually take away some pimple scars...which facial cant really do.
And i used Proactive for about 6 months continously...then i gradually stopped using it. So its the best way to go, i think !

PROACTIV SUCKS! IT DOES NOT WORK! It made my skin so much worse. I went to a doctor after 6 months of using it & seeing more & more pimples form. The doctor was amazed at what horrible shape my skin was in. She asked what I had been using & when I told her "Proactiv" she said never to use it. She has had more clients come in w/ horrible skin conditions caused by Proactiv. Don't be fooled by their commercials! They pay those people to say what ever they want them to say! I used to have a few pimples here and there so I decided to use Proactiv. It worked for about 6 months and then it completely stopped working after that. My skin is even worser than before now. Proactiv only works temporarily. I'd suggest you go to a dermatologist rather than using Proactiv cause it would only make your skin worse.

The ones sold in Japan are different from the ones sold in the US. Japan virsion of it is much milder than the US virsion, so it has less chance to get ur skin irritated but also it could be less affective. Whether it works or not really depends on person. In my case, the us viesion is too strong to use it twice a day, so i only use the repairing lotion at nights, cleanser and tonner on weekends, and it perfectly works for me. so i guess it's also depends on how u use it.

It's VERY true that everyone has their own skin type. My sister uses proactiv and it works great for her. I tried it and it didn't do anything for me.
It's working for me...but I certainly didn't have major acne, just enough to annoy me. I also noticed that using it every day actually irritated my skin, so I now use it every second day and it seems to be working out for me.

yeah...it actually pretty much works on me...and has been working...so i say give it a try, tho it doesnt work on everyone. if it doesnt work on you, try clean and clear. if that still doesnt work, go to the docters. thats all i can say. :)

You know what works really really well? Getting enough sleep, drinking lots of water, avoiding foods your skin reacts to and not looking for fights.

I have tried SEVERAL acne products over the years including AcneFree, Biore, Neutrogena, Clearasil, Aveeno, Ponds, Clean and Clear, and I have even had creams and pills prescribed from the dermetoligist and nothing works. I've ordered Proactiv to see what all the fuss is about and hope it works.

try murad.. it's way more better than this product.. trust me i already tried ussing proactiv but nothing happened and itchy so i tried murad.. but i guess it depends on the type of skin though but you can try this pruduct first and if it didnt work then try murad.. =) advice : sleeping early is good for the skin.. =)

this stuff does work really well. a hell of a lot better than going on acutane... that crap is horrible. gain weight, makes your skin so dry it flakes, and you gotta get blood work done every month O.o but man, i wish this stuff wasnt so expesive....

I do get one every 3 weeks. Its helps to renew your skin. But the good thing about Proactive is that it can actually take away some pimple scars...which facial cant really do.
And i used Proactive for about 6 months continously...then i gradually stopped using it. So its the best way to go, i think !

Proactive has benzoyl peroxide in it. You're probably sensitive to this chemical. I am too so i use Murad Acne Complex. Have you tried that?

PROACTIV SUCKS! IT DOES NOT WORK! It made my skin so much worse. I went to a doctor after 6 months of using it & seeing more & more pimples form. The doctor was amazed at what horrible shape my skin was in. She asked what I had been using & when I told her "Proactiv" she said never to use it. She has had more clients come in w/ horrible skin conditions caused by Proactiv. Don't be fooled by their commercials! They pay those people to say what ever they want them to say! AVOID THIS SCAM PRODUCT!

Proactiv sucks!
I used to have a few pimples here and there so I decided to use Proactiv. It worked for about 6 months and then it completely stopped working after that. My skin is even worser than before now. Proactiv only works temporarily. I'd suggest you go to a dermatologist rather than using Proactiv cause it would only make your skin worse.

The active ingredient is 2.5% benzoyl peroxide... You can get benzoyl peroxide at this lower strength in "Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment, Vanishing Formula" at almost any drugstore chain.

The ones sold in Japan are different from the ones sold in the US. Japan virsion of it is much milder than the US virsion, so it has less chance to get ur skin irritated but also it could be less affective. Whether it works or not really depends on person. In my case, the us viesion is too strong to use it twice a day, so i only use the repairing lotion at nights, cleanser and tonner on weekends, and it perfectly works for me. so i guess it's also depends on how u use it.

It's working for me...but I certainly didn't have major acne, just enough to annoy me. I also noticed that using it every day actually irritated my skin, so I now use it every second day and it seems to be working out for me.

proactiv does not work, i used it for a year, and it did not do anything for me, i think it acutally got worse... then when i called to cancel the lady was like, oh well we can upgrade you to a more powerful version for tougher acne, i was like why didn't you tell me about that before i wasted my money for a year, so i went to a dermatologist (sp?)

Jessica used Accutane before she endorsed Proactiv. Accutane is the medication responsible for her clear skin. Proactiv did not work for me. Check out my youtube video.

I've been using proactive for a long time also..I've noticed an improvement, but that's it. It improves a "little" bit and then it quits working. I switched to Neutrigena. It's working fine.
