  • Many shall say to be on that day Lord Lord did we not prophesy in your name and in your name we cast out devils. I shall say to them I never knew you depart from me you workers of iniquity. Yes we can use our gifts in the body of Christ but God is after fruit. Every tree that bears not good fruit shall be cut down and cast into the fire. The lake of fire is a real danger for those who do not bare the fruit of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

  • This video is offensive. Peter warned us of such liars in 2 Pet 2:1-3. Hell is nothing more than a pagan tool used to implement fear into believers only to control them.

  • @SwordofManticorE Running out time. "Hell is a pagan tool? That's a lie right there.

  • @jimijam16 prove it.

  • @SwordofManticorE God requires faith to believe. 2 Thess 1:8-9 "This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have BELIEVED.

  • @jimijam16 Wow, you really dont know chrsitain history. Paul was referring to the Jews who were persecuting the thesolonian believers. And the accurate translation is eonian extermination, not everlasting destruction. This prophecy was fullfill 70AD with the siege of Jerusalem, the destruction of the temple and the slaughter of over 2 million jews. Hell is a pagan tool.

  • @SwordofManticorE What part of that scripture doesn't apply to Christians today? Isn't that the reason why we have the bible today? Jesus has not been revealed on earth yet, and people are still perishing for their disobedience to the gospel. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Tim 3:16. Hell is real, because the bible says so. Repent.

  • @jimijam16 Well then plz do tell me why Paul didnt warn the gentiles about the fires of gehenna then?

  • @SwordofManticorE The fires of Gehenna was a vivid image that Jesus used to create a word picture that any Jew in that time understood. The oral tradition would have certainly confirmed what many Christians believed about hell before Paul arrived on the scene. Paul did in fact warn & mention the destiny of who those who did not believe. He used a much harsher warning. Just read Romans 1. Paul wished that he himself would be "cut off" from Christ & accursed for the sake of his brothers. Rom. 9:3.

  • @SwordofManticorE "the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have BELIEVED." - Explain how this has happened. Prove it.

  • @jimijam16 Matt10:23--Jesus said He would return in the lifetime of His disciples.

Matt. 16:27-28--Jesus said He would return with His angels to judge all men before every one standing there died.

Matt24:29-34--Jesus said He would return in the clouds with His angels--in that generation.

Acts 3:19--Peter said Jesus would return when all the Old Covenant prophecies were fulfilled. If the Old Prophesies have not been fulfilled, the Old Covenant is still in effect. (Matthew5:17-18)

  • @SwordofManticorE Jesus did not just die for the sheep of Israel, but for the Gentile nations too. Clearly Matt. 10:23 is for athe current and future disciples of Christ. Christ confirmed that in His great commission to His disciples in Matt 28:19. The word has to go out to the world, and not just the small towns of Israel. Matt 24 confirms that the gospel of this Kingdom must reach the whole world, and then the end of the age would come.

  • @jimijam16 I agree, and that is why He sent His apostel Paul to go out to the gentiles to preach the real good news, but the warnings to Israel remained the same. Why do you hate sinners so much?

  • @SwordofManticorE The warnings remained the same because Israel is blinded right now. Their eyes will be opened when the fullness of the Gentiles is complete. I do not hate sinners. God has commanded that I love my enemies. For I was once darkened, and in sin. By the grace of God, I am saved thru faith, so I operate in grace towards others, just as God did for me. Jesus took my place on that cross, can I not love those who persecute me?

  • @jimijam16 God has commanded you to love your enemies, but does He love His? Because true love is unconditional.

You accuse me of being a literalist when you yourself are one. The warnings to the Jews of Gehenna have been fullfilled. Luke 16 has proven that. But your arrogance of not allowing you to believe you may be wrong wastes my time on you. I was just like you, but I always had the belief that there is more to learn than what is taught.

  • @jimijam16 Romans 13:12--Paul said "the day is at hand." That was said 1900 years ago!

1 Cor. 7:28-31--Paul said "the fashion of this world is passing away," and "the time is short." Again, this was stated 1900 years ago to that generation.

Hebrews 9:28, 10:37--The writer said Christ would appear a second time for salvation and then asserted "in a very, very little while He that will come, and will not tarry." Is 1900 years a "little while?"

  • @jimijam16 James 5:7-9--James urged his readers to be faithful "until the coming of the Lord," he says "The coming of the Lord is at hand," and "The judge is standing right at the door."

1 John 2:15-18--John said the world was passing away and "it is the last hour." Again, the last hour was 1900 years ago!

Revelation--this book says no less than ten times that its predictions "must shortly come to pass," were "at hand," were to happen "quickly," there would be "no more delay,"

  • @SwordofManticorE Sword, it's great to take the bible literally, and that's what you're doing here, but perhaps when John said, "the last hour", he didn't literally within the next 60 minutes. Did the world pass away? No. So that's not what he meant. The world to John meant the system, people, governments. etc.. and they are passing away in a continuous process of disintegration, headed for destruction. The term 'last hour' refers to the latter days, or "last days". Jude 18.

  • @jimijam16 There is no proof that I take my Lords words literaly. If you mean world passing away in Matt 24:3. the proper translation to the Greek word ¨aiOnos¨ is ¨Age¨, not world. The end of the age of the OC. Go figure

  • @SwordofManticorE Okay..based on your the language that you were using, it "seems" that you taking the bible literally, when there is an eschatological meaning to be understood as well. I agree, the end of the world means the end of the age as I mentioned earlier. See, we don't take the word, "world" literally, but understand that its meaning is "age", in an eschatological sense.

  • @SwordofManticorE You used the phrase "My Lord" earlier...Hmmm..what does that mean to you? Your "Lord" talked about hell, warned about hell, and held captives free, but you can't believe that there's a hell? Wow....Explain.

  • @SwordofManticorE It's obvious that the Lord has delayed His coming according to 2 Peter 3. Scoffers will come and go, but God will keep His promise to those who are faithful even unto death.

  • @SwordofManticorE The phrase "coming of the Lord is at hand" must implies imminency, and is a frequency theme in the NT. 1 Peter 4:7. James used the imagery of Christ as a Judge about to enter a court room. James was cautioning his readers against sin..

  • @jimijam16 Question. If i take the words of Christ literally. What is your interpretation of the richman and Lazerus in Luke 16?

  • @SwordofManticorE Whether this was a real story or a parable, the point is, is that it teaches a lesson. There are truths in this lesson indeed. So I take it as a factual description of a place, in NT usage, called Hades, which always meant the place of the wicked prior to final judgement in hell. The imagery Jesus used was understood by the rabbis, that there are two compartments. So the rich man is in Hades, and Lazarus is with Abraham, to suggest, he's in a place of honor instead of dishonor

  • @SwordofManticorE So hell is a place of unspeakable torment, anguish, unrest, and unquenchable flames. It's interesting that even in hell, the very flames of hell do not atone for sin, as the rich man still...still beckons Lazarus to wait on him as if Lazarus is still in a poor state. Nonetheless, this story speaks of the power of the gospel alone to overcome unbelief.(Romans 1:16). But since unbelief is a heart issue, no evidences will ever turn unbelief to faith. It's too late for the rich man

  • @jimijam16 Ask yourself, what if I am wrong with all my doubts. What if hell is REAL as the bible says and once there you are stuck.

\is such suffering worth any gamble. Ask yourself, if I believe what do I loose - nothing.

What do I gain - everything. The call is yours.

  • @consolidate1234 jimjam16 believes in hell. I dont.

  • @consolidate1234 I choose to believe in the hell because the bible says so. Simple. Christ spoke more about hell than He did about heaven. It's interesting that many believe in heaven, but refuse to believe in hell. Ironicaly, Jesus explains, it is very difficult to gain entry into heaven.

  • that is right, time is running out for the human race Father God misses us, thank you God for changing our mind set to Your Kingdom and the power in your Holy Spirit the Governor
