The game sound track is great but even the battle songs are a bit more slow beat. This is to keep the gamer concentrated. Visually the game is awesome for the little demand it put on a card. And as for complicated not really it quite very intuitive you need to learn what is strong vs what but most of all you need to be able to plan ahead long term. thinking of just the next 5 minutes is not enough in a game with skilled players. 30 minutes would be the norm up to 60-120.
@EadTaes Yes, and if you don't have a super gaming acomputer, aoived making more than 100 of each ship, I tryed making 1000 each, and crashed my computer. :P
but Sins of a Solar Empire is wounderful, cause it runs great on my laptop, which Sup Comm 1 has problems, which means I can build massive amount of ships, and then just let them fly around the place and find the other players and kill them.
Yes, and No, it all depends on what kind of gamer you are, some people, like me, have a easy time at playing the game.
Others, have a hard time controlling a large number of units. All you have to remember is, use hot keys, use the right ship to kill the right target, keep your eyes on what every one else is doing, keep your income up, and try to spread you big power ful ships out among your planets.
stick to one star, then once you can jump to a new star, find a star with a very small number of planets, and take contrul of them, and then if you can, move your home planet ther, some where where there isn't very many "phase" lines into it, so there's a good bottel neck to defend your planet, and keep a lot of heave fighters around planets with "phase" lines that go stright to the star.
i dont get how ppl grow so fast and gain so much money so fast with what little they start out with - i like playing this game but it gets agrivating because the metal and crystal slow me down all the frine time - is thr something in order in which ppl do to get such a big armada and so much cash metal and crystal to support them?
What do you mean it's not working, what's not working, please give alittle more than "it's not working" that'd be helpful for me to help you with your problem.
you just need to keep an eye on the jump points into your planet's Grav area and keep building small ships. and some times you can build a larg capital ship for free from the start, if so build it and keep at your home planet and let the smaller ships go out and get new planets.
I love jumping into a different planets orbit in formation and have this perfect square of units....then the Vasari colony capital ship arrives and BAM units are flying everywhere! So awsome XD
um.... I'll look it up, the only things I wish were better in this game, is GFX, AI, and more, and better upgrades. I find the AIs abit stupid, even after I've wiped out and taken over all if not most of the AI's planets, and kill of all of their ships, they still will not agree to a cease fire, or give up. it's kind of sad.

What's better this, or Supreme Commander2?
SomethingScanning 1 year ago
Depends, GFX wise, as far as looks, Sup Comm 2
but Sins of a Solar Empire is wounderful, cause it runs great on my laptop, which Sup Comm 1 has problems, which means I can build massive amount of ships, and then just let them fly around the place and find the other players and kill them.

JinrohDFLL 3 years ago
no clue, I don't really listen to game sound tracks in game, I turn them off and play music in the back ground.

The first capital ship is always free, that's why you want to get that capital ship factory up and running asap.

No, it's not from the makers of homeworld, Iron Clad did not make Homeworld.

Good vid, deciding whether to buy it. Is there a region code and how much lifespan (replay-ability) has it got. Thx
