aaw, 19 isn't so bad!! actually, growing older has proven to be a great thing for me. i've taken on a lot more responsibilities, but i'm feeling extremely accomplished and really proud of myself. not to mention i don't look 25, so i don't have THAT much to complain about :) I'm a youtube partner which means I have ads on my videos (like the one in the top right corner above the description) and i get paid based on views and ad clicks. thanks for your feedback!

This is a little late but my daughter called me and we were discussing credit. I told her to look at the price you are being charged and consider that when you pay the bill. As a treat,give yourself a raise and pay off(if you have more then one)that with the highest interest rate.

Getting old does suck, but I can still remember how much it sucked being young too. From age 13 till about 19 my voice hadn't settled from puberty and I sounded like Beavis.

Now I'm starting to lose my hair....I think I had about 3-4 years of looking great. Average life expectancy for males is 75, I think.

You were spotlighted by youtube on the front video page and probably get a lot more general traffic and a lot more haters instead of the traffic that arrives via referrals and similar videos. Fools like this can pretty much get away with it anonymously. Take a look at his profile comments and you'll see it has been raiding all kinds of channels with filth. Probably not surprising given his nickname.
yeah, that's true. i dunno why, but my traffic has really blown up in the past few days and the majority of the comments have been these racist trolls...you're totally right though. i shouldn't bother indulging them with comments but sometimes i feel like i need to fight back. its tough seeing all these comments in my inbox every morning and not saying anything in response.generally speaking i just block them and move on, but sometimes i can't help but respond.
Anyone who sticks his head out above the field is prone to getting this kind of attention. No matter who you are or what you post on youtube. They will hate on anything that they see yet they don't have the guts to even post a video showing their face. I call them the mindless youtube zombies. Just clean up the comments that bother you by blocking them and removing the comments and they will mostly disappear and it's kind of rewarding to boot as well.
of course. but i've been blocking and just leaving the comments because it just boosts my video on youtube. i'm one of the top commented and viewed videos this week!? not to mention, i'm making money based on how many times these trolls come and watch my video. so the way i see it, bring it on.

Happy 25th Birthday! Getting older does not suck, it gets better. The only thing you're finding out is that things don't come free. You've been told while growing up "turn off the lights", "stop opening the fridge", "money doesn't grow on trees" etc.
Now that you have things in your name that need to be paid for, you can understand your parents a little better.
When you become 30, you'll laugh at the things that stressed you out at 25.
i've supported myself since leaving the house at 18. i've always paid my own bills and my own rent. i have complete respect for my parents in that regard. i'm just trying to be responsible and think ahead and plan for my future because it's sinking in that i'm not getting any younger and this is the time when i need to start saving and preparing for the rest of my life. thanks for the advice and words of encouragement. i'm not stressing, i'm just being realistic
In today's economy cant be mad at cha for sometimes being late on the car payment. Having a garage is kool if your a few months late. I watch my neighbor accross the street dodge the repo man "effectively" by just keeping it in the garage. Trick with that is you need another car that's paid off :-(

The thing about 25 is that yes, you do have this realization that you are over quarter of century old and that sucks, but unless you are a sex worker or a model, you are not old! the late 20's and 30's brings a confidence that you don't experience in your 20s. You were spotlighted by youtube on the front video page and probably get a lot more general traffic and a lot more haters instead of the traffic that arrives via referrals and similar videos. Fools like this can pretty much get away with it anonymously. Take a look at his profile comments and you'll see it has been raiding all kinds of channels with filth. Probably not surprising given his nickname.

yeah, that's true. i dunno why, but my traffic has really blown up in the past few days and the majority of the comments have been these racist trolls...you're totally right though. i shouldn't bother indulging them with comments but sometimes i feel like i need to fight back. its tough seeing all these comments in my inbox every morning and not saying anything in response.generally speaking i just block them and move on, but sometimes i can't help but respond.

Anyone who sticks his head out above the field is prone to getting this kind of attention. No matter who you are or what you post on youtube. They will hate on anything that they see yet they don't have the guts to even post a video showing their face. I call them the mindless youtube zombies. Just clean up the comments that bother you by blocking them and removing the comments and they will mostly disappear and it's kind of rewarding to boot as well.

I agree with you. Growing up does suck. I'm about to turn 26 in January and I am dreading getting nearer 30. Plus, I have four sons so that makes me have to be responsible by default. Happy 25th Birthday! Getting older does not suck, it gets better. The only thing you're finding out is that things don't come free. You've been told while growing up "turn off the lights", "stop opening the fridge", "money doesn't grow on trees" etc.
Now that you have things in your name that need to be paid for, you can understand your parents a little better.
When you become 30, you'll laugh at the things that stressed you out at 25.

i've supported myself since leaving the house at 18. i've always paid my own bills and my own rent. i have complete respect for my parents in that regard. i'm just trying to be responsible and think ahead and plan for my future because it's sinking in that i'm not getting any younger and this is the time when i need to start saving and preparing for the rest of my life. thanks for the advice and words of encouragement. i'm not stressing, i'm just being realistic

In today's economy cant be mad at cha for sometimes being late on the car payment. Having a garage is kool if your a few months late. I watch my neighbor accross the street dodge the repo man "effectively" by just keeping it in the garage. Trick with that is you need another car that's paid off :-(

The thing about 25 is that yes, you do have this realization that you are over quarter of century old and that sucks, but unless you are a sex worker or a model, you are not old! the late 20's and 30's brings a confidence that you don't experience in your 20s. Just the fact that you are willing to think about your future shows your maturity. Don't be so hard on yourself.
