  • Is the magneto behind the accessory pulley on the left-hand side?

  • Just watching this one again :) Sounds fantastic even without concidering it's age....mine is very rattly and is about 10 years younger!

  • Hi mate,

Just wondering what plug your running, my PB runs pretty well but not as even as yours even with a new coil etc! Is the timing absolutley critical on these or is there a bit of a margin for error?

  • I ended up with one of these lovely machines. 1941 with a RS1 mag, later scilencer, and the hard plastic petrol cap. all mounted on one 4 wheel trolley with a Argosy water pump. I have to say, A Ruston Hornsby is like a Rolls Royce to me.

  • Nice engine.

  • Hi Dick

Ive never heard a PB6 sound so smooth as yours how did you manage that??

Ive got a 1940 version and its lovely too!

  • Hi, I don't know how I do it!.....It's a bit of luck I guess with the aid of good ignition timing and a new spark plug! See ya...Rich

  • Hi, they are out there.....have a look on e bay....treat yourself!

  • Sorry, it's been bid for way to high for me, you have done well!

I will have a look in SEM but I don't think I'll find one as nice as this beuty!
