Behind the Scenes at Cal Performances

Oooh, I was there! I remember seeing the Bolshoi Swan Lake as a student there and was blown away. Berkeley is so lucky to have this unpreposing auditorium be a focus for the very best performing arts in the *world*. I live in L.A. now and we never get the dance that Cal Performances had year after year.

I was a stage tech at Cal Performances 2003-2006. An amazing place. No better theater on the West Coast. I see a lot of familiar faces, even though this was made the year before I joined. i worked one Bolshoi show a few years later. A truly World Class venue.
