  • Hyosung fucking beste bikes ever!!!!! but it's gotta be naked. none of this faring crap.. best looking naked bike out there!

  • Nice bike. Has it ever been ridden, or was it just purchased to make videos in the driveway? GOOD LORD.

  • the top seed is 170ish mine could go faster than 167 ..

n between thumbs up man , they re one of the best beginner bike... i have had any problem with it nd i have that for more than a year now..!!

  • Mine is 2006 model , pushed it to 110 , enough , must stay alive , think about that , my last smash was with 50km/h and it filled like 150.

Keep that on your mind and stay alive

  • Whats thr top speed i need 2 know

  • @2020iee Not very fast. It seems to be ringing out about 120km/h could prob go faster but i've never tried.

  • 175-180 km/h,, i did 177

  • @2020iee i have the earlier model gt250r 2008 ( i believe his is fuel injected as well.. ) i live in auckland and i can tell you that she is not a race bike. she gets up to 145kph and thats it. she only has 5 gears meaning that above the 120 she is reving hard. dont know if you are a kiwi rider?

it is a great bike for learners unless you are small like me ( bike is three times my own weight at 185kg) she is a GREAT cruiser though and thats what she excells at. no racing this babe cheers

  • @2020iee said to be 100 mph (160km)

  • @2020iee it can goes to 180km/h and more with the proper mods mine can go to 181km/h but that's VMax

my mods are : a two brothers full system exhaust (the hyosung special edition) I rejetted the carburetor and put a BMC air filter and I also changed a front sprocket from 14 to 15.

  • @2020iee top speed is 170 km/h, I have one

  • Yep im a kiwi in south Auckland. The bike cost me about $7K.

  • @APBTNZ shit same i got 1 for 3800 and its done 1200km and a 2006 mint bikes tho

  • u wouldnt happen to be a kiwi man by any chance? :) how much did this bike set u back by?

  • HYOSUNG - WAY OF LOSERS !!!!!

  • @suzukilifeanddanger get a job because this is the 3rd video in 4 minutes i have seen with u posting this same comment, bit pathetic... u obviously have too much time on your hands...

  • I have the same 2009 hyosung gt250r. Love it so much, its been perfect.

i'm up in Canada, cant wait for spring to start riding again

  • @mccarthy155 Riding season started last week in Canada!

  • for people who dont like hyo's you all certainly do watch a lot of videos with 'hyosung' in the title. Plastic engine.... you serious dude?

  • @thefour40 So serious. I had the choice between this and the Ninja 250r. Guess what I chose? This bike looks cheap, compared to the Ninja 250r.

  • @JonTheChron Yeah ok man I agree, but saying the engine is plastic is just fucking stupid man. c'mon son. I've had mine for 14000 kms and its still goin strong. It is ugly as shit I must admit, but hell, it was cheap, and it goes pretty damn good. Bang for buck man thats what 250's are about. you can be cool guy and drop a wad on whatever but you aint gonna have it for long so why bother. save your cash for when you get a bigger bike I rekon.

  • I just bought the 2010 GT250R EFI model, with its additional low power torque it beats the high reving NINJA 250 which needs atleast 8k RPM before it reaches power, if you want a lawn mower buy Kawasaki (even tho its not 2 stroke) if you want V-twin EFI technology get a Hyo - they are the best bang for buck

  • that so true, the low end power and torque are what make this bike the clear choice over the kawi, The drivetrain on the Hyosung is just far superior

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the video.

Video poster, is this the 2009 GT250r? So the dash has changed as well?

It would be nice to know from you how you'd rate this bike.

    Thanks

  • This is actually very late 2008 model i picked it up December 20th 2008. It was the first one i'd seen with the new dash which was apparently the 2009 style. The bike has worked well for me as a learner. I think it looks awesome and handles great.

  • this bike rules. had it for a moth now. just put a new $20 exhaust on with no baffle. sounds like death itself rolling down the road. i beat any ninja250 off the line and it looks like a 400. best learner bike ever

  • Ide be surprised if lasted you more than a month, plastic engine.

  • still going strong. You just obviously hold some sort of unfounded prejudice based on nothing.

  • lol jealous?

  • i have tried both this bike and the ninja 250r, my choice was clearly the ninja, both were seen new, the hyosung has been factory beaten up

it has 1.5 miles on it from the test after being manufactured, and the decals were peeling the bike was in less than acceptable condition for 4800 $ i purchased the ninja for 3200 and i dont regret it one bit. this bike is made of plastic

  • +1 This bike does blow hard ones.

  • Have you had any problems with this bike man? I'm looking at getting one and have heard mixed reviews.

  • Just had the rear brake caliper seize up on me the other day but apart from that no problems at all.

  • srsc23 ur an idiot...

for 1 u wouldnt of even sat on one of these and felt the how comfy they are..

they are a reliabe bike if u keep ur maintainence up, ive got an 09 hyosung gt 250r and it aint no shit bike it runs well and reliable.. alot better then the ninj 250r for me cause im a bigger person

  • oh my you must be like ghost rider. worst bike ever but nice colour

  • are you able to take off that back handle thing on the rear seat?

because i'm sorry but that thing just looks absolutly stupid as hell and that's the only thing i'd change about this bike.

  • It's easy as to take that off. I just took it off now and i agree it looks heaps better without it. It's only six bolts to take it off. The pillion seat moves a bit more with it off but the seat still stays on so it's all good.

  • yer u can jus 6 allen key bolts and out it comes ive done it to mine it looks way better without but u need for pillion passenger

  • wat year is this bro?

  • It's late 2008 model.

  • hey dude

how are finding the bike so far?

I was close to buying a ninja but realised i was stretching the budget a bit....

I am looking to buy a 2009 model which is less than the ninja at 6.7k (7.4k for the ninja)....

    thanks

  • I've had no problems with the bike at all. I was looking at the Ninja too but decided on the Hyosung as the Ninja seemed a bit smaller and the riding position on the the Ninja is a bit more upright than the Hyosung. Hope that helps dude.

  • shit sorry i replied to the wrong comment

  • i like! Have you had any problems, I was looking into buying a used 2007 gt250r with 7000km's.

  • No problems with this bike at all. I haven't done many kms on it yet though. Heaps of fun to ride though and always turns heads.

  • hey thanks

i'm pretty keen to get one now

i'm going to close motorcycles tmrw in sydney

    hopefully lay down a deposit

    cheers

  • its a great bike i recommend it... whateva bike u get will have its faults..

  • how about a vid on the gauge at night.? your's is the first new gauge i've seen..
