Sorry if I'm asking too many questions! My Dad is a very good guitarist, he has a small time band but he plays by ear so he never was that great of a teacher. I am now 43 yrs old and my 10 yr old is wanting to learn so he and I signed up for lessons from a buddy of mine about a month ago. Man I have whiteboy rythm through and through lol, so often I get stuck trying to get the rythm and change chords, I hope to learn the guitar and if I do I want to buy a mandolin and learn to play it!

ianasone, when strumming you start on the root of the chord, so the A chord would be to start on the 5th string... keep on strumming and picking.....

the way my father showed me how to transition between the E and A and E and B7 is between E and a hit open e then 2nd fret on e then fourth fret on e the go to the A chord. then from E to B7 hit open A the hit first fret then second then go to the B7 chord. sounds cool that way. hope i explained it right... lol

Nice job all your videos are great, you get to the point unlike some instructionals where they ramble on about stupid stuff that usally isnt important. But you should have taught the intro, outro and the solo. The intro and outro are really easy. Anyway keep up the good work.

nope... should be the low E string for the E chord but the A string for the A chord and for the B7... give that a try and it should sound a whole lot better
