Good job. Be honest. How many times did you try flaring the line until it came out right? I'm trying to flare a couple of ends on my '87 Olds, and I have to repeat the process 3 or 4 times before the flared end looks good.
Thanks for watching! Sometimes I wear gloves, sometimes I wash before each shoot to keep the camera, but a lot of the time if you take a good look at my helper... he does the dirty work lol.
The flaring tool you show in the beginning is the autozone one and is junk, I did 2 cars with it before the anvil got loose and started driving at an angle. Where did you get the good flaring tool you actually used in the video?
I bought the AZ tool only for the inserts to make the double flare. The good tool is an old one my Dad gave me. It's a much better made tool and works so much better.
Yeah I can tell, it's deffinetly an experienced tool. You should hit up Napa or Robbins? they might be Federated auto parts now, they stock just the flaring adapters for a couple bucks.

whoa!!! first thing you did was use that tubing bender backwards. you need to familiarize yourself with the correct use of a handheld tubing bender!

@callmenort LOL You are the first one to catch that. We are much more "familiar" with it now.

I would recommend that use armor on the brake line to protect from road crap( rocks.ect.

Thanks, I did go to Napa before AZ, but they were out of the adapters at the time I needed them.
