I always loved this gun growing up! My cousin had an original Israeli eagle from the early 80's. The .44 magnum was easy to shoot with plenty of bang!

It's a shame that most of these guns will never see real range time. I remember the last time I shot my cousin, it hadn't been cleaned in ages. All we had on hand was a can of WD40... Made that magnum into a flame thrower! As soon as we started shooting, everyone walked over expecting to see Robo Cop!

@feastkey the best way is with a shoulder harness. now in the warmer weather months you would probably be better off going with another weapon. IMO the Eagles are better for the fun factor but even more useful as a home defense weapon.

@SneakaSeeka I enjoy this gun myself but I don't know about home defense. If its a night intruder talk about blinding both of you with a 5 ft flash (which is awesome). The bullet travel afterwards. Bullets that punch through engine block....be careful where the intruder is standing.

Also IWI makes the .50cal, Magnum research and some other companies make a .44magnum Desert Eagle. Also as he shoots it at the end, you can see the shell being ejected. and IWI is stamped on the gun as well.
