that used to be me lol. when you start the fridrich method it tends to slow your times down, but then it increases amazingly fast(with practice, of course).

That happens to everyone. You just have to work on it. Try incorporating intuitive F2L with algorithms(if you don't do that already). I think it'll help a lot.

that means to rotate the cube around the x axis (horizontal axis) whichever way it tells you (' meaning counterclockwise). there's the same thing with the y and y' (y axis)

just do it intuitively. it take some practice at first but you'll get used it pretty quick.

after you figure it out intuitively just learn the algs for the ones that always give you trouble so you'll only have to know maybe a handful
