You got the general technique of talkbox no doubt but the reason a lot of folks aint feelin you on this is that you are attempting a Zapp & Roger cover and when you try to do that you gots to have da funk ya'mean? look at the video by talkboxmayhem titled Talkbox:Roger & Zapp Medley. IMO you definately know how to play using a talkbox but you need to develop that funk and I feel u will if havnt already
