i havent played badminton for 12 years last week i started again so just wanted to watch some videos to get pumped im so impressed with the Lee Chong Wei's court control and stick to the game plan great great player

The records I remember (may not be very accurate, but should be very close)

Lin Dan: Taufik = 15:6

Lin Dan: Gade = 15:4

Lin Dan : LCW = 16:8

Lin Dan clearly has dominated the other 3. I do not agree that Taufik can beat Lin Dan in his prime. Lin Dan has beaten Taufik so many times. Taufik just has a big mouth. Lin Dan used to be quite arrogant as well, but he is doing much better now. (I do not like Li YongBO though. Li is a very arrogant)

I think that it doesn't matter who wins, just as its a good game. Im chinese, but I find certain games with Lin Dan boring sometimes. I think that it is a good thing to support your country but how are boring games fun to watch? In this case, I love both players, and it was a good game, so I dont care who wins

Lin Dan won many titles when Taufic was in his prime. Yes, I am talking about early 2000s. However, Lin Dan also was very young, so he was not so stable, that gave some chances for Taufic.

Taufik is a good player, but if you look at player's history, Taufik is not even close to Lin Dan.

Some goes to Peter Gade, a good player, but not a great player.

I think Lin Dan is the best ever. LCW is better than Taufic and Peter Gade for the entire career.

@zerosum88 It depends, LCW has 1 WC medal (bronze) and 1 olympic medal and 1 all england title, Peter has an all england title and like 4 WC medals, 3 bronze 1 silver, Taufik has been an olympic champion and a world champion...................and yes Lin Dan outclasses them all, olympic title, 4 all england titles, 3 times defending champion world champion, and the only player to have won all titles

4 straight smashes down the line! Lee Chong Wei definitely whipped this win. Taufik needs to practise his reflexes and foot movement he doesnt seem to react really well when Lee smashes at his boundry lines.

probably not true, Taufik after the olympics was unbeatable, he won 2005 wc, beating lcw 15-3 15-12 in semi final, and lin dan 15-7 15-3 in final. and again he beat lin dan 2-0 in the final of the asian games in 2006, but he seemed to slow down a bit after 2005...
