  • Loose belt? Or blown alternator?

  • Ok. But who could handle 164 daily. It's a comp vehicle. Use any note with in regulation to achieve the highest possible score.

  • I think that SPL hittin mid notes is hella gay, you ruined the good bass of the 18 inch sub, I mean ya its 164DB, but I would never listen to that sound, I think you should hit 164DB @ 20Hz not friggin 100 lol, Sorry, i just seen too many mid bass burps, its just not cool anymore for me. no offence.

  • then you are missing the point of a competition vehicle.. this was obviously never meant to be a daily use system / driver.. it is a very impressive score for a single sub!

  • yes it is definetly rediculous bass SPL. man, there was a tahoe with 4 15's and 13,000w and i couldnt sit in there for J.E.E.Z.Y by Young Jeezy.

It was literaly breathtaking, but it was low hittin bass! i completley appriciate SPL Comps, I have a few on my profile, also the tahoe, and a boat with 6 10's! but i would be personally going for like 164DB(LOL!) @ 30Hz, to me, that is BAss, midbass is just... BTW what was this tone? and 10 stars for 18"s of stupid loud!

  • @gfhnk I'm under the impression that higher hz = less flex, hence less chance of the sub tearing

  • @dnwndls naw thats a solo x 18 it can do 155 at 40HZ by itself in the right tuning and box size. I wouldnt think they worry about tearing, maybe tearing the vehicle! You could be right, but i could be wrong...
