i have the same 79 and a 76 highboy the 79 wuz almost the same height so i put 6 inch blocks in the rear and 10 leafs in front for a lift but my back is pretty messed up now she ride like a train little ruff lol

Depends on what you want your truck for. I mean for good work hell yeah but the newer trucks are a little bit better for long distance driving. Then again they don't sound as cool.

$2500, it has not been on a dyno but should be around 450 to 500 hp and 500 lb-ft 472 ci and 10to1 900 cfm carb dove-c heads ported
