I so agree. I adore books SO much. I finally realized though that I will keep the classics, the old ones and when I have my Library (a dream of mine) I can always start getting more. Thanks for stopping by.
oh I SO connected to your comment. Especially after I decluttered. I have one box that is going to the Christian store and another box that will be given as gifts to others. My children have the 'hoarder' mentality also and I have been encouraging them to start slowly going through one bin, one drawer, etc. at at time.
LOL! Pajamas are the greatest! I get away with working in mine by calling them "lounge clothes" or my "comfies". Good luck, being a coffee addict I know what a mess one spilled cup can be. =)

Except on "Hoarders" the spilled coffee would have been left there and forgotten. I'm not criticizing, that's just the way it is with the people on that show. Your book mess is not like that show.I do feel compassionate toward them.
My brother is a hoarder. I've just started to watch that show, like you my heart is just filled with compassion, NOT only for them but their loved ones that are trying desperately to help them but just don't know how...
I know my parents heart is broken, wanting to help their son who is refusing to deal with his hoarding, which in turns leaves the rest of us not touching his 'stuff'.
SIGH....
As for the spilled coffee,,well I did leave there for a few days,lol.
@freespirithome It's even hard for the closest most compassionate family members to help, but dont stop. I'm a hoarder I guess. I have had to come to terms in God's word about it. I really don't think any counseling can help crack the cycle like God's word and accepting the fact that what I am, is against what God's word says (I am in sin in hoarding in other words). Just my conclusion. I'm working every day to come out of it and this year, not buying anything unnecessary. !!! (so far, so good.)
You know what, yesterday was definitely an eye opener for me..I'm a hoarder! Most would never say that about me because when you look at videos of 'hoarders' people would not compare me to that. Well God showed me differently. I'm just a 'neater' hoarder, but a hoarder just the same. Blessings sweet one.

I decluttered SO much from that one shelf. Two cabinets to go and that room will be completely 'decluttered' and 'simplified'..now the walls,,LOL
I have SO much books. I LOVE LOVE books, but I'm giving A LOT a way. Yard sales are coming up girl,,more books,,lol
