watch out for the mint, some times it will get agressive and take over your whole garden. It did that to me and started killing of my other herbs. I plant my herbs in containers now.
Looks good I just watched it...I tried different thgisn thgin year but I think nxt year I wil just grow cherry tomoatoes they seem to be doing to best so far...I am new to gardenign myself...
I know most people don't appreciate gardening videos much but I really appreciate them. I guess people don't realize it makes everyone costs cheaper. Are you gonna expand it any or add more fruit trees in the future? I wish I had as much space as you. I have alot of gardening videos in my subscriptions if you get a chance to check them out.
Yes, I wanted to start off small to see how it goes, but I will expand and make it bigger next year, maybe add 2 more boxes...I am also goign to check out your vids! Thanks!
I actually really like your garden videos. It makes me want to plant my own, which would probably do very well since I live in Vista, CA. But you were mentioning the birds eating your stuff, and I've heard a good way to scare them off is to hang CD's from fishing line or somthing either on or around the plants, and the sun reflecting of the CD's should keep them away.
Thanks for the tip...Well, so far so good, the birdss have not bothered anythgin yet, but if they do, I will try that, thanks!
Yah I decided to amke these videos to sort of break up the constant knife stuff, I LOVE knives, but everyione needs a break from it from tiem to time so it doesn't get boring...haha...
They get rootbound, thats what its called, when you pick the base of the stem up you will see thats the whole pants pops out of the pot and its holding al the dirt with it, the root system will be all over the place, and you will see them all tangled up at the bottom...Its ok to have some roots like that, but if it looks like the whole bottom is roots, then its time for a new pot thatds bigger...Also, make sure you ahve good drainage so the roots can get air too...I use gravel under the dirt...
nice!

don't plant sweet and hot peppers together as they cross pollinate

you need more space for the water mealon

Be careful planting melons and cucs too close together, they might cross pollinate and then neither are any good.
