@MarkMenia well the beginning of the anime and the manga is almost the same but in the middle of the anime the story changes (but the main plot remains the same). if I were you I would start watching the anime just to get the idea of what the story is about but you must read the manga too i really recomend it :) ( the manga is better)

Yes, indeed, the story gets more and more exciting. Though, people say that it's very suprising of what Oz is, to me it was very obvious. None the less, a very very exciting series. I have not even read all of it, but my friends have told me a bunch of spoliers, though I say, the spoilers don't make you not want to read, it makes you want to read it more and more. Do continue with the series, it is one of the best. An extraterrestrail series, indeed.

The anime cut off awkwardly with stupidity in the end, despite being accurate most of the way. The manga continues the epic story. The latest chapter gave a bunch of info about Alice's backstory. Find it on Mangareader. The earlier scans are kinda low quality, but they get better as you get further.
