I was there when it happened....im sure it's happened before, nothing's stopping it from ever happening again. I watched him go down when i was a boy. i watched it with my own eyes. Yet, it didn't deter my dreams of being a fighter pilot for the U.S.Navy. God bless those who have died, and who are serving in our Military and armed forces. Semper-Fidelis men! Semper Fidelis....
Raider, a little information for you, Brazil was in the WW2. dude read a little to avoid looking stupid like NOW. and if you failed English reading class i said that MIGHT as in even if they are... and i was in the American side you dumbass. trying reading again and see if you can understand what i said. then form an opinion and share it. ill be removing that dumb reply and you can post a new more mature one. bye now
Anemic white people and very paranoid, does not know is fun just to think of stealing oil from other countries, this is your country United States envious.
Dude, you sound ignorant. Im Brasilian too and the comment that you posted is dumb and stupid. America might be a fuck up, but this video is about a man who lost his life doing something he loved, if he was a pilot from the esquadrilha da fumaca than you wouldn't say something bad. Cmdr Kevin Davis was a great man, just like our Brazilian pilots. come on be better than that, and dont post retaliation comments, cause you wont get to me. Abrazz se cuida Samurai
whoa whoa, who said that we are a fuck up. I dont know who made your opinion truth but since we are going through a recession it makes us a fuck up. What about the 30's, we had a depression then but we came out of it the victors of World War 2. Brazil never did anything close.
Kevin Davis was a tribute to the team and our military! A co-worker of mine was checking damage to a piece of radar equipment and he nor Davis was told of the others' presence. Davis took off down the runway doing a "media flight" and " pulled up a little early" when he saw my guy at the last minute! My friend was knocked on his ass by the exhaust! He and my friend had a good laugh as I photographed them shaking hands after he landed! He was a true professional and a gentleman! He'll be missed!
Excellent excellent tribute. I had a lot of stuff going on in my life at the time and wasn't around a T.V. much so I never even heard about this. This is very sad :( I thank God that he served our Country as well as all of the men and women that have served or are currently serving. My thanks goes to them every single day.
many still do not even know a Blue Angel crashed and everybody knows about the war in Iraq. We are definately not discounting those who have died serving their country in combat and if I could I would do a tribute to each soldier individually but the reality is there are too many who have died. Its kinda like when you get older and you run out of space on your birthday cake to put candles. Then you just put up one candle in the middle of the cake to stand for them all.
I understand what you are saying but realistically soldier combat deaths are reported in the news everyday though not by name usually. I agree that the individuals that die in a combat situations don't receive the individual recognition they deserve but they are recognized in war memorials.
These guys represent America's finest. If you've never been to a show, check their schedule and plan a trip. Thank you Kevin Davis for your service to our country.
I would not have heard about it either if a friend on the east coast didn't tell me about what happened on the phone a week after the fact. This didn't get that much media coverage and I felt it should have been covered more. I live on the S.F. bay in california and watch the Blue angels fly over my house every year at fleet week. I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss. thanks for all the comments. It means alot.
Welldone - thank you for this video. I didnn't know LT Davis - but because of your video - here is one person more to feel sorrow because he past away.
Thank you. I felt real bad when I heard about this and my friend Ray who sang that song said it would be good to do a tribute when we were discussing it on the phone. Kevin seemed like such a nice guy as well from the video clips I have seen of him. very sad.
Rest in peace friend, May God richly bless you and fly free in heaven.

I was there and they did the missing man at the end for the actual show on the 21st. The 20th was the practice.

Wonderfull video, tragic accident.
He will be missed!
Just one thing I can't understand.
1 Navy Pilot dies in the US = A Tragedy
1000's Soldiers die in Iraq = Statistics
Sjunneh 4 years ago
Its a tragedy that soldiers are are dying at war as well.
DianaP17 4 years ago
I don't say it istn, but they spend less attention to the individuals.
