In the language that John was translated in (Greek) it's the SAME WORDS! Ego Eimi which means "I am". The Greek of John 9:9 (the blind man's words) & John 8:58 are THE SAME; ego eimi or "I am".
God in Exodus 3:14 says (in Greek) "Ego Eimi Ha On" which means "I Am the Eternal One". When Jesus says "ego eimi" he does NOT say "Ha On" therefore if Jesus WANTED to say he was God's equal he SHOULD have said "ego eimi ha on" also, but HE DIDN'T!

In the language that John was translated in (Greek) it's the SAME WORDS! Ego Eimi which means "I am". The Greek of John 9:9 (the blind man's words) & John 8:58 are THE SAME; ego eimi or "I am".
God in Exodus 3:14 says (in Greek) "Ego Eimi Ha On" which means "I Am the Eternal One". When Jesus says "ego eimi" he does NOT say "Ha On" therefore if Jesus WANTED to say he was God's equal he SHOULD have said "ego eimi ha on" also, but HE DIDN'T!

There was NO adoption of ANY pagan beliefs (unlike the Catholic church). AGAIN, the word jinn is derived from janna meaning covered/concealed/hid/protected. Its used to refer to specific TYPES of people.
There are NO "copycat" verses. The Qur'an was revealed by the same God who revealed SOME scriptures in the bible, therefore the stories SHOULD match.

@CAtholic29 I have answered the Jinn question & I'll answer it here AGAIN. Jinn is derived from "janna" which means to cover/conceal/hid/protected. Jinn are humans with negative intentions & lead other types of humans into evil & indecency. How can jinn be a stolen concept when it was already part of the language? The Chapter Jinn (72) makes reference to specific Jinn who would in the FUTURE accept Islam, but was HIDDEN from them presently. These Jinn were Christians as evidenced by verse 1 - 4.

@CAtholic29 Jesus is NOT God so you need to let that go. Jesus is no more God than you are. We can become one with the Father through our submission to Him, but Jesus (as any righteous Muslim would) denied ANY equality with the Father.
