My grandfather gave me a picture of a Native American chief for my birthday when i was 12 years old. I never knew why as i had no idea or interest in the Native culture at that time. He never told me why and died with that knowledge. A few years later i found the picture in a drawer and looked at it for along time. Not knowing why i kept it. I put it on the wall where i could see it. I read books by Bear Heart, Black elk and others. Crazy Horse's prophesy has come true for me as an Englishman.

I'm a Cdn with a European background who resides in BC, Canada. Let me say, that I have the UTMOST respect for ALL Native Indians who maintain their heritage. And I TRULY wish that they will continue to do so. However, there is a dilemna. Natives tend to "live" the lifestyle of the "newcomers" and so, it is very difficult for the newcomers to accept the Native way. Hence, it is diffiicult for both lifestyles to mesh because they ARE so different yet same , & each, have also become hypocritical.
