Don't do that to many times. I've had a bunch of those, and as cool as they are, they tend to break down over time. A few OTFs that I had, the blade would not retract after a while.

@SinOfYesterd Spring assisted knifes are legal and are not considered OTF knifes, Unlike OTF knifes spring assisted knifes do not have a button on the handle and on the blade making it a spring assisted knife, Spring assisted knifes also don't come out the front they slide out like a regular pocket knife but spring assisted so you have to pull or maybe a lever on the side of the blade for QD you have to push/pull a little be for it assists the rest of the way out. this may vary state to state.

There might be something like lint in the handle. Blow it out with compressed air or vacuum it out with an attachment. Then rub some oil on the blade and work it in and out to get the oil where it needs to be.
