If the Gold Line didn't have to slow down so damn much in the residential neighborhoods, it could compete with Metrolink (fast but infrequent, somewhat expensive, f*cking diesel) upon expansion to Azusa/Montclair/Ontario Int'l Airport. Oh wait...the expansion hasn't even been approved yet has it ;_;. I totally want the Gold Line to reach into the eastern suburbs, I Will Ride.
they have to slow down the train because they did not install the gates., instead of the double track that area, they should have done with single track with crossing gates on each street in highland park.
if crossing gates allow the goldline to travel thru intersections in pasadena why not the same for south of union station.

Nice, can't say how many times Ive used this just to get to the WHOLE FOODS IN 'DENA!
Possibly my favorite one because of its sheer size.... they were supposed to make one here in Burbank, but I forget why they didn't!

there are two "Pasadena" in the U.S., one is a suburb in greater Houston, one is in LA county.

Memorial park station is probably my favorite station on this line. It's the one with the apartment buildings above it. Very cool looking.
