i looked up replacement codes but nothings coming up theres this one site called neoseekers but i have one question if u want to replace a goomba with lets say a koopa and its code is CB do you put a zero where 1 x was?
If anyone wants the list of codes, I have put them on my site because they're no longer available on the internet. Here's the link: (remove the ()'s): ht()tp://ah33t3r.webs.()com/ndssection.htm (for some reason it won't work if you just copy & paste the link, so you need to type it yourself)
@zachsaber1 The guy who made it deleted it. >___> Sorry about that. You can find the same stuff you need with Google though. Just search "sm64ds v1.1 replacement codes" or "sm64ds v1.1 item values", etc., and you should find it with some luck.
@SuperEekie64 They're POSSIBLE, it's just that no one has found the replacement codes for them yet. If you really want to get into making codes for SM64DS though, it shouldn't be too hard to find a cheap used American copy somewhere online (which all the codes seem to be made for).
I'd like to see some codes that people put some REAL effort into, not just custom levels having replace codes only and movement codes that aren't realistic and all the same for each thing lol. It's called a hacking, there can't be too many limits. Maybe people still have yet to discover full limit "if there is" of AR. That or it wasn't that good of a creation for "hacking" because a true hacker could do anything to a game :P. How you think games are made into "exactly" what creators want?
@satan915 I definitely know what you're saying. Most codes I make try to use all the things Action Replay has to offer... I prefer to make fewer codes like this (watch?v=9WEEm55aI5Y) that are actually fun, rather than the generic level codes you seem to see made everywhere for this game.
Yeah that's why whenever I'm a different thing for my character I'm always in a level it normally is in. That stinks though, but did you know you can put piranha plants in bomb-omb battlefield? I know it's not real, but someone said that the level you get waluigi in is a night time bomb omb battlefield with piranha plants. Pretty weird how they can be put in there right? But they are in tiny huge island, which isn't much different though, so I guess it makes sense. The movement codes are boring.
here are the values 114 1ups 115 mega mushrooms 121 red coins 120 coins 122 blue coins 123 airbuddies 128 seaweed 129 hearts 132 magic flowers 140 take away 144 silver stars 150 butterfly 151 moving silver stars 154 stairs 155 red stop ropes 158 fish 161 doors 162 star door 31 tower
I know. He removed them, and I've been trying to find them online. Turn your annotations on, I gave a link to a v1.1 document when you mouse over the video.
Oh. Wow. The site was temporarily taken down. I would just personally ask NintendudeCT for the codes, and explain what happened, until the sites back up.
Okey doke. When entering a level (like when you pick a star to do, click the character head and the screen turns white), hold select. (but not at any other time, because it will freeze...)

1210440E 000000db
12104406 000000db

omg this code rocks!! people reading this should type the code that goomba4001 just gave in the comments... if you want a challenge dont put any OTHER codes on.
No, I'm afraid there isn't. :( It isn't anything the Action Replay can handle. (Which sucks, might I add). Changing the text is only possible with ROM hacking, which is currently only availble for the original Super Mario 64....
Dude, I'm in the boy scouts, and were going on vacation, and ive been looking for these things, I have them in my ds, but i want to make more hack worlds and warp zonez and i was like... o crap where are my bookmarks and my dad erased them and i was like.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
"To tell what version SM64DS, just check to see what your Action Replay calls it. If it calls it "Super Mario 64 DS (ASMENOJ20)", then you have version v1.0. If Action Replay calls it "Super Mario 64 DS (ASMEN1J12 / 1J22)", you have version 1.1. Hope that helps. :)"
how do you know a value over 167 will crash your game? have you done it? if you have you probably just make videos of things you know sopeople don't make your mistakes.
A warning from NINTENDUDECT, who originally found the replace codes and all the values. I haven't done it, and I personally don't want to see if he is right or not. :P
v1.52 is the version Action Replay you have, not the version of Super Mario 64 DS.
