  • right now is an ice age in most of the Europe, many have died and they again explain it as a sign of global warming ... could they be more desperate?

I would belive more that cartoon Scrat squirrel about climate changes then them

  • Im so confused... I thought climate change was factual.

  • @PullyElbow27 it is, all the time, for the bilions of years, but it has not anthropogenic causes on global level, none ... the main is the Sun and cosmic mechanics

all this histeria is about fearmongering, money and resources and that is undoubtedly anthropogenic cause

  • @PullyElbow27 It is factual; so factual that it has always happened; even before humans existed.

  • The IPCC's favourite catchphrase "The science is settled".

  • these fuckn ppl in the window are killing me... wave and be gone jesus fuckn christ these stupid fat bitches standing there waving at the fuckn camera for 2 mins GET THE FUK OUT

  • @milldabeast519 they're caused by global warming hehehehehehe :-)

  • The climate models are not actually models you know they are spherical crystal devices that when hands are laid on them a swirling mist reveals what will be happening in the future, failing that the backup system is used which employs a china teacup and some old fashioned tea, not the baggy stuff and voila predictions that would have as much bearing on reality as a climatologist riding the train of plenty.

  • wow "150 years of temperature records." Gee that must be so insightful given the fact the world is 6,000,000,000 years old. hmmm...that makes Ben's claims 0.000,000,000,000 % correct!

  • @MikkkkyB its 4 bil not 6 but I agree

  • @kelzarren123 thanks :-)

  • @MikkkkyB :)

  • @MikkkkyB lol

  • Lord Monckton is spot on. The figures have been greatly exaggerated. Most of the figures are just conjecture and future assumption. The fact that the Climate Change scare has set back industrial development in third world countries is criminal, genocidal even.

  • Do these idiotic alarmists have any idea how stupid they sound?

  • 7 degrees would mean no more life on Earth. But it will probably not increase that much.

  • Cool 7 deg C by the end of the century! No more cold weather cloths !

  • @zwiiyt

    Good point, Mate !

And certain quantum physicists are now even 'debating' with some of Einstein's 'settled' science (NOT a term the Great Man would himself have used, one feels).

The Global Climate is one of THE most complex non-linear systems in Nature. Practically IMPOSSIBLE to 'model' with any degree of serviceable accuracy. And ANY man who DARES to say in this context that 'the Science is settled' is NOT a 'scientist'.

Merely an ignoramus (with or without a degree) !!

  • fuck me his eyes? holy shit.

  • @halflifeproductionz

Caused by a serious thyroid condition known as 'Grave's Disease'.

NOT a Laughing Matter (and scarcely relevant to what the man has to say, I'd have thought).

Ben's PRETTIER, though - and I guess that's what REALLY counts these days.

  • @marvinc999 damn my bad, i had no idea.

  • Where is part two!

  • Lord wins!!!

  • This is hilarious. The climate alarmist speaks in populist generalities, while the climate change skeptic drops facts that they don't seem to understand. Love it when the host tries to cut off Monkton for stating his findings. Classic global warming debate!

  • (Warming by end of the Century) is "ENTIRELY dependant on how much greenhouse gas we emit..............it's like debating the Laws of Physics - it's NOT debatable".

Well, Ben - some SOLAR physicists MIGHT just offer you a 'debate' on that one.

(Or, indeed, anyone who knows what they're talking about).

And THIS man is a 'Doctor' ?

No wonder brainy Australians (and there are a few) tend to emigrate to the UK. They must find the company embarrassing at times.............................

  • @marvinc999 So very true. As an Australian i find it sad and sickening how retarded the average Aussie is. Most cant see past the end of there own nose for their love of football cricket or any other sport. They watch the nightly news and think they are informed, yet if you challenge the status quo they shake their heads and call you a boring over educated nerd. Look at the last 2 govts they elected, 2 of the worst ever.

  • @Adirtybird

    Cheers !

I wasn't trying to be insulting to Aussies. In most respects, they're a splendid bunch. But - like us Brits (and most Yanks) - there is a tendency nowadays Down There to just sit on the TV couch (as it were), and let the waves of officially-sanctioned LIES wash over the mind like warm water. Just what our Masters want.

    No, thanks !

A BIT more of that old rebelliousness wouldn't come amiss in this darkening age.

To say nothing of a BIT of Common Sense !

  • yes the science is setttled. Global warming stopped about 10 years ago and was not caused by men when it happened.

This is the science. the rest is ad numeram ad populum and ad hominem - classic fallacies. do the warmists want to discredit science itself? because that is what they are doing with this half baked pseudo reigious drivel the warmist is spouting here

  • @ 1:21. Doesn't he mean to say," It entirely depends on how much scaremongering and lies we use in the future". Go Monkton Go.

  • Look at the body language of the pro global warming guy when Monckton is speaking. The shifting around the nervous and sometimes angry look on his face. He's getting his ass kicked and he knows it!

  • @DetoxMansion that has nothing to do with it, hes probably never been on TV, hes only a minor player in the debate, whereas monckton has been in countless interviews. I want to see Monckton directly debate David Suzuki. Monckton is a fool and does nothing but point out the minor errors in the scientific study of climate change and use them as 'evidence' against the entire idea

  • @h273309 Well, that didnt take long did it? It seems to me the young guy handeled himself pretty well at first, he seemed fairly comfortable. It wasint until Monckton started quoting facts, figures and papers and the names of the scientists who wrote them that he started shifting around exhaling loudly and looking uncomfortable.

  • @DetoxMansion "Well, that didnt take long did it? It seems to me the young guy handeled himself pretty well at first, he seemed fairly comfortable. It wasint until Monckton started quoting facts, figures and papers and the names of the scientists who wrote them that he started shifting around exhaling loudly and looking uncomfortable."

I think what you are seeing as a man annoyed when Monckton claimed he knew more than the man because "[he was] not a climate scientist, as if Monckton was one.

  • @h273309 Also as far as David Suzuki goes do you mean the David Suzuki who wen on national television and told the world that the submarine launched ballistic missile fired off the california coast earlier this year was just an airplane contrail? You know, the missile exhaust coming up out of the water doing a circular course correction and then heading off in a ballistic trajectory like all SLBM's do? That David Suzuki?

  • @DetoxMansion never heard of that to be honest, can i see your source?

  • @h273309 Sure, I cant remember what network the interview was on, I think it was CNN it should be on youtube. Type in something like missile fired of california coast and then go from there. Im sorry I cant give you any better info. But I was floored that he (Suzuki) would say that it was an airplane contrail. Good luck.

  • Lord Monckton is awesome. 2 vs. 1 seems like a fair and normal debate

  • lord monckton is trying very hard not burst out laughing at this yahoo!!!!

  • you cant find the rest of the video on the yahoo page just some climate change propaganda

  • @deterpeter

The original video's been removed. Someone else uploaded the whole some weeks after I did though. Search for "Lord Monckton vs Global Warming Fraudster, Ben McNeil".

  • Another victory for Lord. He the better than Einstein adversary

  • WTF is wrong with those people in the back? 0_o

  • were is the rest?

  • @2DAREPUBLICAMEXICANA

    Read the description.

  • Lord Monckton is awesome. He's the better than Einstein. ;)

  • @donut42000 You got trolled, love.

  • Lord Monckton has a mind that can be compared to a continualy updated library. He uses facts, never opinions. He's excellent because he knows what he's talking about.

  • So.... All of you are discrediting nationally funded scientists for something a politician is saying... I think the sheep are officially culled.

  • @MegaMadmez - Yes, unfortunately that 'government funded / controlled' is the issue. You can't really get independent results when the governments basically paying to get the answers they want.

  • @AdamBoy64

to believe that the government can buy false views from these scientists, to me, seems silly. from my time working in government agency, as soon as a tiny secret leaks everyone knows about it. i mean, we hear about incidents of indiscretions by polititcians where one or two people are involved, yet supposedly a worldwide conspiracy exists to hide the truth about climate change?

  • What a gigantic cunt of a human.

  • Christopher Monckton knows what he's talking about. The young idiots who debate him usually don't.

  • The alarmist argument is loaded with logical fallacy.

  • Pity about the arseholes pulling faces in the background

  • lol the alarmist, is talking out of his arse, you can just tell LOL its like a comedy movie where the dude is caught lying and just keeps bullshitting even though his been caught.

  • Dont bother looking at a damn thing produced by NASA unless of course you want to see what bullshit propaganda they're peddling at the moment.

Would like to have seen more of this interview.

Keep going Monckton people are hearing you!!

  • Owned by the Monck !

  • Moncktons a good man, expose those lies mate so we can get rid of this pathetic excuse for a carbon tax!

  • memo to channel 7.for fuck's sake someone get a curtain NOW!!!

  • Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun. I hope he Slip Slop Slaps!!!

  • David Koch, you are a wanker !!

  • how scary is australia? we are so screwed, so bloody depressing :(

  • Channel 7 journalists are Labor shills.

  • Doogie Howser, climate scientist.

  • His lordship is quite right, where is all the Money going that we pay in extra tax's

  • What exactly is a Climate scientist?

  • @totalcontrast I studied paleoanthropology, geology and economics at uni, I've been asking myself the same question since the hysteria started, and honestly I still don't have a clue. I think they're academics who feed crude data into statistical programs they don't understand, and then get high and mighty about the results, as far as I can tell.

  • @mlawren7 - No such thing as a Climate Scientist then. Exactly what I figured too. Just a load of old crap fed to the worlds tax payiing public as part of a general dumbing down of the so called democratic society.

  • I couldn't help but be distracted by the sheep in the background constantly waving for recognition "look at me! look at me! I'm on tv waving through a window like a retard!"

  • hahahahah cannot beilive the presenter uses a revamped pascals wager at the end!! That just sums up climate change wankers dosnt it? No better that christfags. jeeeezee......

  • Here here. Lord Monk.

Yes the earth is warming as it has ebb and flow for centuries, yet it has "from privative data shown in 1970" that it is warming. In fact cap ice levels have been on a slow decline for 110 yrs. Long before carbon spewing cars and coal power???? Let's look addaption rather than knee jerk taxes that serve only the 1percenters who wish to convince us of this lie.

  • Bravo Lord Monckton! The truth is starting to come out!

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperShiningSun Moncton talked more science the scientist, how can you says its retoric?? the scientist was using the same old retoric of "the science is settled, the debates over".

The reason Glaciers are melting is that we're coming out of a cold period, just beyond the convenient 150 year period this young guy states.....

And you could argue the other side has cherry picked the period of 150 years just after the little ice age when things were going to warm anyway....

  • Why do people delve off topic?. The FACT remains, Lord Monckton put this YOUNG BOY right in his place. Like giving a naughty boy a good clip on the backside. I love how sceptics question absolutely everything and seek out all the convenient little holes that people try so hard to cover up. Even the presenter of this interview come across as pathetic; a typical product of the establishment. Who knows everyone, one day these people might actually develop the ability to think for themselves.

  • @ScottishNonBeliever

Keep up the good work Scottie. With Schopenhauerian "Will", plenty of luck, and the eternal ally that is truth's stubborn and patient habit of prevailing, we shall get through this latest period of collective human lunacy - eventually. I'm sure, at least, of that.

  • @ScottishNonBeliever

"This silly halfwit alarmist has not got a single independant thought in his skull."

Exactly. That's what frightens me. That combined with the facts that they are multiplying and they are indoctrinating our children with this nonsense - to the point where children will no longer be able to enjoy a summer's day without being paranoid about the 'end of the world'. I call that exactly what it is: evil.

  • This guy already made a fool of himself by simply SHOWING UP to a debate against Monckton.

  • search for monckton bunkum on youtube. all you need to do is checking his sources and his arguments will fall flat, as usual with most 'skeptics'.

  • I love this Monckton character

  • @SuperShiningSun What do you suppose Monckton's agenda is?

  • Bunch of idiots waving in the background, LOL.

  • @SuperShiningSun

What about Al Gore then? he is a politician who also has an agnda, and he capitalizes on the Global Warming Hysteria.

At least Monckton isn't a fear mongerer who deceives people into thinking that apocalypse is coming and that we will all drown in rising seas. In fact, he presents very logical facts that do indeed make sense.

  • @RazorAceYU RIGHT NO SHIT...I WISH MOCKTON WOULD HAVE BROUGHT THAT UP....AL GORE HAS BILLIONS TO MAKE FROM HIS CARBON DERIVATIVES PLANS HE CONJURED UP...ALL HE NEEDS IS ENOUGH IDIOT CLIMATE FAGS TO MAKE HIM RICH BY ARGUING HIS NON FACTUAL POINTS FROM HIS OWN MOVIE...HAHAHAHAHAHHAA IF YOUR ONE OF THESE YOU CAN STOP TODAY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING A COMPLETE DOUCHE NOW!!! YOU WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE THE THINGS THEY ARE SCARING YOU WITH...NEVER NOT YOU ,YOUR KIDS OR YOUR KIDS KIDS....ITS ALL LIES

  • @AntBanks2626

It's quite easy to fool people into believing total lies today, especially through mass media. People can't think for themselves, so they rely on their government to think for them.

Monckton is one of the very few intelectuals who manages to discern fact from fiction. people should listen to him more, instead of that nut job, Al Gore.

  • How many of those commenting on this article in favour of the motion that mankind is causing dangerous global warming have been prepared to live by you're principles?. Have you given up plane travel? Have you given up your car and walked to work or used a bike? What efforts have you made to reduce your own carbon footprint and reduce you're own energy consumption? I would bet that, in reality, hardly any of you have taken steps to 'back up' you're words; preaching bullshit is always easier!

  • hey Koshi your a fuckwitt! The Worlds entering an iceage climate change cocksuckers!

  • @SuperShiningSun correction, monckton is an ex-politician who no longer serves the house of lords, in other interviews has stats he doesnt approve of many aspects of the brittish governance and to me looks like he will probably live no more than 15 more years... what sort of hidden agenda do you think he is running? he doesnt get paid to present his opinions, your just one of those people who loves throwing around emotive cliche's like corporate agenda... oh and how did he lie? please embellish.

  • "Scientist guy" said you can't question the laws of physics. Einstein did and added to our knowledge of gravity, and started quantum mechanics. The ICCP Report won the Nobel Peace prize; a POLITICAL award, it didn't win any scientific awards. And he flat-out lied about the ice caps melting. The Antarctic ice cap is growing. It's outrageous, he claims, to be challenged, well then, he isn't doing science, he's promoting dogma.

  • @1980PintoMan the antarctic ice cap is growing? Where the hell are your sources saying that?

  • @SuperShiningSun You claim politicians lie to promote their ideas, what about Gore who promoted this global warming? And what about the fact that he makes money by selling carbon credits? No reason not to trust Gore huh? And what about Gore's prediction that Florida was to be underwater by now and all the rest of his doomsday prophecy that didn't happen? What about temps being fabricated and temps cooling and not warming? Global warming adherents are mindless socialists.

  • Al Gore sued by over 30.000 Scientists for Global Warming fraud.

    youtube.com/watch?v=FfHW7KR33IQ

  • @Axxess7777 link broken

  • Comment removed

  • @AlecTaylor6 Thanks.

    This should work:

    watch?v=FfHW7KR33IQ

  • So, this guy says because there's SO much, haha, 'evidence', then it must be right?

The way he keeps insisting the science is settled makes me furious! That's all they do, and that's how AGW has come this far - all the AGW supporters insisting the science is FACT and using FACT all the time, and then nobody checking whether they're actually right.

It's a hivemind that needs to be shifted in mental view.

  • ludocrat, I am loving your argument against "SuperShiningSun"

  • Can humans be responsible for the cliate changes on other planets? The other planets in our solar system are also heating up. Where is this extra energy comming from? Certainly not suv's.

  • there has been no statistically significant global warming for 16 years, we've had global cooling for 10 years, since 2001 the earth has been cooling, since 2003 the oceans have been cooling. there are 5 times as many polar bears as there were 40 years ago.550 million years ago during the cambrian era, carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere where 20 times today's levels, and the oceans didn't acidify, the seas didnt rise. all in all global warming is a hoax

  • Can anyone shed light on this question: What empirical evidence exists to support the theory of anthropogenic global warming? I hear much about computer-models, but these are based in the virtual world of programming; they are told what to think from the offset. This paves the way for enoromous bias simply because computer-models are only as accurate as the assumptions that get programmed into them. Assumptions do not constitute PROOF; they constitute SPECULATION; in other words, GUESSES!!

  • Lord Monckton is quite wise and correct. A lie is still a lie regardless of the face you put on it. If you genuinely care for the environment and want to seek out alternative energy sources to reduce dependency on foreign imports i.e. Oil - then why not simply admit to your heart's desire! One does not need to promote bogus theories to achieve this desired end. It is the height of arrogance to honestly believe that human beings can affect global climate!

  • The climate system is governed by thousands of factors, many of which are poorly understood. Why single out a minor trace gas as CO2? Surely, a rational and intelligent mind can acknowledge the fact that warmings and coolings naturally come and go - determined by a multitude of factors interacting on some level and to some degree. Granted, CO2 is an INFARED ABSORBER and causes some warming, but then again, there are thousands of natural factors which do precisely the same thing P.S. the Sun.

  • @SuperShiningSun Ok de-industrialise Australia and pay huge sums in Carbon tax to bankers then. CO2 is plant food , warming of the Earth is caused largely by that huge Fussion reactor in the sky. The bankers invented global warming as a means of tax and control of the people. Its well documented and traceable.

  • He colonized that fool.

  • hahaha that Scientist just got smashed.

  • @SuperShiningSun dude you really shouldn't make this or ANY debate about ego by labeling people as "politicians" in the stereotypical sense or fanatics. The reason being that the truth is too important for that. It really is up to you to do your homework before making sweeping statements that my mis-inform or indeed add to the misinformation.

  • @SuperShiningSun You mean.. there has been warming??? D=

Whoah, now that IS unprecidented!!! Let's stop industry and manufacturing, the sky is fall Chicken Wing.

    O_O

Stupid bastard. Fanaticism is correct. NOTHING anyone ever says will let you see the light. I have talked to hundreds of you idiots. I have talked to hundreds of communists as well. There is a disease in your brain. With communists there is a disease in their heart. You don't even know that you think for them. U do their bidding

  • putting a huge tax on everything still will not change the temperature one iota!

more brain washing is needed al gore.

  • funny how the climate scientist resorts to ad hominem whilst the politician calmly spells out the facts to him. Monckton sounds like more of a scientist than this guy. AGW is a complete fraud. In Ireland we are already paying carbon taxes thanks to the presence of the Green Party in our last government. I'm glad to say they've been practically wiped out in the latest election but the carbon tax genie is out the bottle. I mean what govt is going to say no to a big pile of new cash coming in?

  • @SuperShiningSun

Yes, yes, we know the routine. Warmist agitprop Number 6: ad hominem. You sad sheep-like, obsessive 'activists' never give-up, with your sinister trolling and total hatred of anyone and anything that contradicts your broken, bankrupt worldview. This is my channel and I will keep on deleting your thought diseased nonsense and blocking you from now until doomsday if necessary. You know, just like they do on real climate - only they do it to fair comment. Idiot.

  • @ludocrat Tell me something: Have you ever borthered to actually check for yourself whether Monckton is correct and accurate?

  • @SuperShiningSun

There is no point me claiming anything to a fanatic. You're the one who needs urgently to reassess his whole outlook, assuming you're not beyond that already (I fully expect you are). I have no wish to enter into the same old conversation with someone who only ever deals in propaganda and untruth. Don't bother responding to this because you'll be removed and blocked.

  • @SuperShiningSun Yes... Have you?

  • @SuperShiningSun

I have. It is. Most of it is based on MIT professor of meteorology Richard Lindzen's work. But what does that guy know, he's just a professor at MIT.

  • @SuperShiningSun YES I HAVE...HAVE YOU BOTHERED TO CHECK TO SEE WHY THE LEADERS OF THE CLIMATE CHANGE MOVEMENT WERE CAUGHT ADMITTING TO THE LIES THEY HAD MADE ABOUT ALL PUBLISHED CLIMATE CHANGE DATA.??????????????..AND THEN THEY WERE CAUGHT RED HANDED TO ORDERING ALL RECORDS OF THOSE CONVERSATIONS TO BE DESTROYED???BUT THEY WERENT...NOW WE TRULY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE KNOW THEY WERE TRYING TO FK US...WE ALSO KNOW WHO THE TRULY DUMB PEOPLE ARE WHO STILL BELIEVE THEM...AND SOME STILL ARGUE IT.THE WRST

  • @ludocrat I LIKE HOW THE "SCIENTIST CONSTANTLY MADE FUNNY FACES WHEN MOCKTON CAME UP WITH HIS INFORMATION...A TRAIT OF A LOSER GETTING POWNED ON A DEBATE...U CLIMATE CHANGE FAGS ARE BRAINWASHED LITTLE SHEEP THAT ARE RIPE FOR THE HARVEST....THE WOLVS ARE TRYING TO GET INTO YOUR LIVES AND ARE AQUIRING FULL CONTROL OF YOUR FREEDOMS...THEY FEED YOUR CHILDREN POISON EVERY DAY..THEY TELL U WHAT LIGHTBULBS TO LIGHT YOUR HOME WITH...POISON UR WATER...AND U FIGHT THEIR FIGHT!!! YOU ARE THE POOREST OF MAN

  • @AntBanks2626

Dude, you are shouting at the wrong guy. Don't do that any more.

  • This young alarmist! My God, a product of the Modern Age - FULL OF SHIT! What impresses me with Lord Monckton is his sheer knowledge of so many aspects of Science and Politics. Moreso, he can always support his comments with referened material on the spot! Of course, this does'nt mean he is always 'right', but compared to these alarmists - he occupies a far superior mentality! As for the host of this interview, another product of the 'liberal left' i.e. rude and biased!

  • Another very good link to understand how, why and if the Arctic Ice is melting, what is the mechanism that might be more responsible for it. See Precession and Pole Shift by VRamSkyWatcher on Youtube. It indicates/explains that presently our precession angle is tilted more towards the sun so the Arctic receives more sunlight and heat than during other periods during the ~25 800 year precession cycle.

  • What a poor unprofessional ending. If I could foresee that I would have skipped it.

  • @wwturbine

What do you mean? I explained the problem with the rip in the blurb. And I am not a 'professional' ripper. If this is what you're referring to then I can only say that I'm rather underwhelmed that you deigned to grace us with your condescending presence. If you're referring to something else, then in future try to be more specific .

  • @ludocrat Thank you for replying. Perhaps I do not understand your methodology to the same extent that I am ignorant to the term "rip in the blurp". I tried this time to find some indication of what you say you explained but could find nothing. Assume it is my ignorance, but in any effect, when the debate got interesting and Monckton referred to Herr Ziegler the clip ended. That was frustrating as I also could not find the second part, if there was one. I trust that is specific enough.

  • @wwturbine

That certainly is, and I apologise for the tone of my reply, which was, upon reflection, rather cranky. It's just that I did apologise for the shoddy ending to this clip (or 'rip') in my description of it (the 'blurb' - it's hard to see these days because it's become a dropdown) and provided a link for the complete interview in that blurb which is still active as far as I know, so fill your boots!.

Anyway, for what it's worth, sincere apologies to you from me. Merry Christmas!

  • @ludocrat No problem, we are at least more civil than the alarmists. Anyway, for my education, where would I find your "description " that you refer to, and where do I find your "provided link for the complete interview"? I am sure that i do not know how to read and find the info on the page. I really would like to see the full interview. many thanks.

  • @wwturbine

Thanks for those comments. As to your question, I'm not entirely sure how to decribe what to do, but I'll have a go. Just below the 'number of views' (currently "10,585") below the video display, bottom right, is a downward-pointing double chevron. Click on that and thanks to the marvels of YouTube technology, my blurb for this video should appear. Contained within that description is the link to the Ch7 website where this interview is still hosted in full. Hope that helps!

  • @ludocrat Many thanks. it surely helped. i have mastered a new tool!

  • The world is divided, sir, because oafs like you continue to spew the nonsense to the idiotic masses.

Thanks to heroes like Monckton, we're starting to hear another side to the story.

  • The real problem in the world is wickedness. Every other problem is just a by-product.

  • Unfortunately, a person well skilled in debating will always look like they are crushing their scientist opponent.

Scientists are not good debaters. There is no room for opinion in science. A television talk show is not the correct format for reviewing evidence. That should be done in the scientific journals. Monckton is a good speaker, but if he is so right, why does he misrepresent so much data? Linking vague facts together.

Why doesn't he publish his "findings"?

  • @junglemike72 I would hardly say Monckton crushed him. It was a no score draw at best.

  • The key phrase is mentioned at the end: "manage our resources". Even if climate change was to be 100% debunked tomorrow (which it won't) the fact is that one say soon there will be no more oil. Or coal. Or gas. Why that's not a reason to start investing in alternative energies, wether solar, wind, wave or nuclear ASAP then I don't know what is.

  • @davidheffron

Good points all. However, the AGW thought disease is distracting us from these vital projects. If we continue on down this path to economic ruin, based on such spurious, politically-motivated garbage, then we really are in trouble, as in people really will start dying en masse. It's already started, actually, as a direct consequence of alarmist policies (like food crops being replaced by biofuels). To me, therefore, warmist/alarmists are very dangerous - and must be stopped!

  • @davidheffron what a sad, sorry, sordid ending to the great climate change scam - "Ok, ok, it's a fraud, but let's look after our resources anyway". Get involved in another cause sonny - like why Greenpeace has nothing to say about the polluting coal burners in their darling communist China for example. Why don't you and your ilk have the courage to admit that what you really want is to remake the world in your own image. Your climate change lie has backfired - keen to see what you dig up next!

  • @Matthysable climate change is not a lie. All the scientific data points to anthropomorphic climatechange.

  • @reafdaw01

No, it doesn't. Stop peddling untruths!

  • @ludocrat is that so? so how do you explain away the correlation between rise in co2 and rise in temperature?

  • @reafdaw01

How do you explain the fact that since 2003, warming (such as it is - nugatory) has stopped while C02 has continued to rise? Interesting, eh - but not to you, obviously.

  • @ludocrat To what data are you refering to?

  • @reafdaw01 "To what data are you refering to?" I'll ignore the redundant 'to' for the sake of harmony.

How about NASA? You can't put full links into this thing so you'll have to try to decipher the following:

    prnewswire dot c o m news releases nasa backtracks on 1998 warmest year claim 58214477 dot h t m l

Of course NASA's beancounters and more militant alarmists soon backtracked on the backtrack, fearing the consequences of truth. Plus ca change. But doubt is doubt. Ya ken?

  • @ludocrat If you care to look on the NASA site you will see that the warmest years since recordkeeping are: 1998, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2009. This is since 1880. This is consistent with the assertion that there is global climate change. Your source gives no reference to any data. It does not explain what the alleged mistake was. NASA clearly does not support the statement of NCPA (a conservative think tank which is against gov. intervention).

  • @reafdaw01

Yes, yes, your smear is as predictable as it is common. It was presaged in my last comment. I'm only surprised it took you this long to find it, cut, paste and repeat it. Must try harder. Try reading more closely, more widely and thinking for yourself in future. And no more dull comments from you here, or I'll delete them. People are totally fed up with the way people like you trot out the same rubbish, ignoring any reasonable (and powerful) doubt, mindlessly. I'm one of them.

  • @reafdaw01 How do you explain the fact that historically temperature rise has preceded CO2 rise by roughly 800 years?

  • @lewisner

Relax. He's a typical $9 and hour MMCC troll and I've banned him. I've seen it all before and you will not, under any circumstances whatsoever, get any straight answers from the likes of him no matter how powerful the points you raise. It's not worth the indulging them (this is my channel!). Besides, these cretinous individuals will whither away as time goes on, as the doubts mount, and as the AGW money machine (eventually) dries up.

  • @ludocrat If you want to read something interesting Google the name "Kim Dabelstein Petersen".

  • @lewisner

Now that was interesting. Well, if the Chinese government does it (pays its citizens half a Yuan to troll any remotely anti-Party Western articles the world over) as a matter of policy, it's hardly beyond the realms of likelihood that hysterical alarmists do much the same thing. It's the people paying these sad little useful idiots the cash that I want to know about! Cui bono - especially from the MMCC racket. Now that is an interesting little poser, isn't it?
