Almost all of the downtown hotels require them and about half of the others do, the only hi-rise hotels I know of in town that don't require them are the Pan Pacific (this one) and the Four Seasons and the south tower of the Sheraton allows public access at certain times, north tower is always locked. I don't know why it's like this, it doesn't make any sense to me, I mean all the office hi-rises leave their elevators unlocked and you need keys to get into the rooms anyway so y lock the elevator
What do you mean one of the few that doesn't require key cards. Why do most of the hotels in Vancouver require key cards?
