Not entirely sure on your plan, but here's what I'd do...

If my Lyn were level 20, I'd use the Heaven's Seal on her and make her walk south while using the fliers to rescue Hector and Eliwood to the mountains. Then place Rath in a forest close to the north to take down Wyverns and use your favorite units to take down the southern wave of enemies, since there are so many Spearmen, use Axemen a lot.
