  • A good start to improving the world would be the dismantling of FEMA camps set up as concentration camps on US soil for future use against US citizens, end the Marshal Law declared by the Bush Administration on 1st Oct 2008, and finally, restoring the US constitution to it's original state and casting aside abusive powers handed to him by the last administration. I really hope he will be a good president and these moves would reassure the world, but I don't think we can hold our breath.

  • And end the Fed. I think it's really obvious this is all NWO Elites offering the masses a "Solution" to the "Problems" they initiated, just so they can get us to cooperate in their taking further steps to control us. Have you heard of their "Order out of Chaos" doctrine, aka their "Problem / Reaction / Solution" modus operandi?

  • "marshall - (in some countries) a military officer of highest rank"

"martial - relating to or connected with the armed forces or the profession of arms."

  • When I saw this, the title had been truncated so that it read "Will the Obama Administration imp-", leading me to hope that the sentence might end "impeach ex-president Bush?". Now that I know it doesn't say that, I've lost interest, as the above question is rheorical. A glove puppet would have done a better job than Dubya. Fortunately, Barack Obama seems to be more than capable - a decent, hones t man who has restored dignity to the office of President.

  • It will take a least a month for Obama to settle in and get his view through to the administration around him as to what is needed. We can help by not getting further sucked into the quick rich syndrome that is devastating the world now and ripped America apart in the 30's. There must be regulation of the banks/dealers/traders to stop speculative dealings. Praise the Lord

  • Obama needs to be given a chance. It will take a least a month for him to come to terms with current issues in the world and also to get the right people around him to portray his view. If we truly believe in his values we must fight his corner as well and not be sucked into the quick rich syndrome that devasted USA in the 30's and is causing so much damage now.

    Praise the Lord

  • Continue being honest with us Mr. President and we the people will not let you down. We are ready to rise from the accumulating dust and re energize our great Country. As long as you don't take advantage of our trust (as was done with the previous administration) we will shatter the low glass ceiling of expectations and bring America to a new golden age.

    P.S.

Please help the world recognize my native brothers and sisters in Kosova. I believe they have suffered enough. God bless America!

  • wow, wait, they just voted Obama in thinking he was the best candidate, now your asking them to vote on wether he is going to be a good president?

  • A number of people voted for Obama because Sarah Palin was a nightmare. Also, the country has to be behind Obama for all of this to work. We need to be the UNITED states of America, not the divided ones. Go Obama!

  • peter schiff predicts economic meltdown with obama's plans. He got every other prediction correct regarding economic trends. In terms of foreign policy he has already sold out to the israel lobby. oh well!!!

  • Yes! It already has. A Dutch friend told me he was so stunned to see how hopeful Americans are during such tough times. Obama is calm and dignified, compassionate and intelligent, physically fit, he embraces his former opponents and he really listens to people with different points of view. He's a great role model. It feels like destiny to have him as president when we need great leadership to bring the world together. What an amazing day!!!

  • Lately I have been seeing more hate on Obama than our actual president. I'm 17 and I think he will do a great job as president, I'm just have to say that the people that hate him now will still hate him even if he's the greatest president of all time. They will always find something to complain about. Peace.

  • Obama is Hollywood. Thats how he won.

    ROLtheWolf said it for me ;

"Obama doesn't control what will happen to America or the World any more than Prince W. the Retarded could. The difference will be in the response to crises and calamities."

Did anyone actually watch the debate ?

I thought neither McCain or Obama we're qualified or thought their policies we're any good.

You think the intelligence of mankind can boil down to one man ? Unfortunately he's just another actor.

  • It's going to take a lot more than any one president or government to improve the state of the *entire world* in 2009.

  • Intelligent & focused President or just a face with nothing to back it up? Lets hope it is the first but my jury is out as i still think he was voted in for the wrong reasons!

  • However good a President Obama is going to be (and I sincerely believe he could be the best one for over 50 years), all of this extra pressure on him at a time when the USA economy is so low is not going to help him or anyone else.

  • The world's lives will improve. Living in England, the presidential election affected me aswell and I kept well up to date with it - I think America is lucky to have such an intelligent, focused president.

And those knocking the charisma aspect - it helps for presidents to have that extra little something.

  • we will just have to see wont we

  • wtf is all this about "there's land other than the US"? yeah, and they all have the leadership they have. Obama is not president of the world, our world is nowhere near ready for single government leadership. who will make money from war then? :P I also agree with dchoker000, that following your own rules is probably a good sign of a noble and noteworthy president. Most of the western world is taking a hit from the economy, being advised by the morons who couldn't see it coming sucks for us. XD

  • she looks like carol thatcher.

  • Obama doesn't control what will happen to America or the World any more than Prince W. the Retarded could. The difference will be in the response to crises and calamities. Obama will be more measured and less prone to mistakes (though I doubt he'll be mistake-free); his true superior quality is his ability to at-least fake humility (I can't tell if it's real, but W's didn't even exist.)

Obama is merely an improvement in leadership, but not fate or luck. And he inherited a hot mess.

  • No.

  • It will still be Bush's fault.

    That's my bet.

The new messiah won't cut it, thankfully, he won't take the blame.

  • lol he wotn change for the bst..

  • lol you're aving a larf arent ye? An American change the world for the better? ah-hahahahaha!

  • He's just another politician, he won't change anything. One hopes it will be an improvement on Bush, but don't count on it.

  • i hope the world doesn't end in 2012

    OBAMA make that prediction false!!!!!!!

  • Obama is the reaction to a problem (Bush), will he "change" (and i have grown to hate that political slogan which holds no real weight), well will he, no he won't, he has as Neocons running his international agenda in the white house and personal from the clinton administration who did precious little when they were in office. And with people like Kinsinger promoting him and the mass media campaign to elect him using race as an issue it stinks of part of the globalist NWO agenda. End of...

  • Won't be hard after Bush, I think obama will make the US seem less evil while he wont impact me too much as I live in england but he is really a breath of fresh air and i truly hope that you will live up to his goals.

    Goverment by the people

    For the people

    With the people

If he sticks to those 3 rules America should do fine (economically is a whole different issue though and im unsure how america will cope with the crisis at hand)

  • no.

  • obama wont make a difference. the jewish lobby will always put pressurw on him, and i hope obama doesnt give the terrorist israel $30billbion each year like bush did.

he didnt even speak up about palestine, his silence implies consesnt. he was quick when russia went into georgia.

  • obama is another president like any other promise every thing and dilver nothing !!! i think anybody think its funny how BUSH is leaving and the country fools into recession ALONG WITH THE WORLD UUUmmm?

  • How do you know that Obama will do nothing when he's not even in presidency yet?

  • no he wont improve it

coz masters intended the collapse to happen

    and obama is their puppet

  • It's a shame how everyone treats him a like a movie star and think he's the best president ever. With someone as poor as a senate record and people blowing his reputation far past what it should be it's a shame to people like this. Wake up...

  • I agree... And even if he were a superman, it would be a miracle if he would keep the economy where it is now. Cause you really can't expect him to IMPROVE anything right now. 2009 is probably going to be a terrible year economically and socially.

  • Your right. I found it funny that someone (I think it was Fox) had a poll asking viewers if Obama was doing a good job. In the poll, 78% of viewers said "Yes", nevermind the fact that he has not even started his first term.

  • Obama should follow the Constitution. He needs to listen to Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and Jim Rogers and others who predicted the housing collapse and the current recession and are saying that the Federal Reserve needs to be abolished and that stimulus packages and bailouts are only going to make the economy worse. Obama instead chooses to be advised by the people who were wrong. That doesn't make any sense to me.

  • I agree with the last comment,

i think hes gonna change things and i really believe (and hope) he will.. but he needs to remember that there is a world beyond the U.S.

Basically he should stay as humble as possible and remember "there is land other than the u.s".

  • obama is nothing more than a new frontman for a larger power hungry group

  • 100% agreed

  • obama is a durty liar and no way is he the president of the world!

  • This is a joke.

its funny that people think that their voice matters.

Obama is about to become the next hitler.

  • Somebody should tell this guy that the U.S.A isn't the world...there is land other than the u.s

  • what... oh my god...

  • Hell yea he will change better

  • Of course he isn't going to be able to change everything he says he will but the main point, he will try to change the world for the better, unlike Bush.

  • in a word - NO.USA going to descend into chaos and obama will blame it all on the recession, only my prediction...

  • Oh my god.

He is the President Elect of the Untied States Of America, not the freakin world!

Try dealing with your own country first, before getting involved with other countries issues!

  • Hence the irony.

He won't improve the US at all, let alone the world.

All he's really going to do here is rename us to the U.S.S.A.

  • Davos? that`s Dr. Who`s arch enemy. The only way the world can be saved is by Maggie Thatcher instructing Mr. Obama, on how to build an Empire like we used to have -just need to get round the slavery and exploitaton of the working classes issues.-LOL

  • obama = fail

  • In the words of Morrissey "America Is Not The World"

  • Press announcement from Barack Obama - Our "Change You Can Believe In" slogan has been temporarily withdrawn and is currently being replaced by "Meet The New Boss, Same As The Old Boss", which we feel is more appropriate and honest.

Unfortunately I can't comment on the Gaza massacre because it would upset my paymasters and I would be assassinated within a week if I did.

When I said "change", I didn't actually mean change as in things altering, I was misquoted.

    Thank you for your votes.

  • rest of the world dosent want or need america trying or thinking they can change the world.

  • Could someone please tell us all, in the history of mankind. Which US president has ever improved the state of the world? Without the aid off murder, torture, infringing human rights, international interference etc. Well I am sure It is not going to start now folks. So don,t hold your breath.

  • I wish Obama the best of luck, he's got alot of shit to deal with, but we cannot really pass judgement now I mean he isn't even in office yet we will have to wait and see wot he does when he does get into office.

  • lets hope change does happen,

one man won't change the world we all need to do our part to help the agenda move forward!!!

  • since when did the US rule the 'world'?

  • ....improve state of the world?!?! ahahahah

he should change the US first first, if he can.

a lot of negative things going on in the US and around the US, he should change it first before the "WORLD".

new president doesn't means getting better or getting worse.

  • ..people already believing in themselves don't need a "leader"....the word "leader" has many undertones....like the rest of us a beneath this one person....

  • The office of the President of the United States is accountable to a wide variety of constituencies. So taking that into account the broader question that should be asked, is how much of an impact can any president have?

  • My life getting better does not depend on Obama.

  • Speaking as an Englishman I really hope he succeeds. Most of us over here are just so pleased to see the back of the republicans. We look forward to the US rejoining the civilised world! However, I think the appointment of Clinton has rather tainted his "change" brand before he's even opened up the shop - and his deafening silence over Gaza is more than just a bit worrying.

  • I think he is being very tactical about the gaza crisis. He dosent want to open up questions of -whether he is supporting israel or the end to the conflict(which will be percieved as an opposition to Israels actions). I guess depending on Israels links and the lobby set up in us government background- an american president can not voice against them. But then where is the change. Having moved to england a few months ago, its being interesting to observe and naildown the publics political views..

  • loooool

  • I suppose the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the rest don't count.

  • in a recent interview she said to Tony Blair "the civilian casualties in Gaza are obviously going to put a big pressure on Israel. How long can Israel withstand this pressure"? Answer should have been "as long as western governments continue to arm and support Israel no matter how ruthlessly they Behave ie indefinatly. Its a long process of ethnic cleansing by stavation, oppression, fear, creating division, provocation followed by exploitation of responses. I see no hope for Palestinians."

  • No.

  • Care to explain exactly why?

  • yes because Bush is doing much better improving America as of now.

  • i agree

  • ...it's already ruined...thx to Bush and Company!

  • ... which everything Bush did was passed by Congress.. which is Democratic.

  • improve the state of the world in 2009?

Sounds like a trick question to me.

  • I'm still an Obama supporter, but I'm starting to get kinda wary of him, his almost outright ignorance over the NASA budget and the shuttle replacement and the total lack of input over the Gaza-Israel conflict.

  • He is a puppet he will make no difference he will only say what he is told to say so the war can go on and on and on. Bush was to stupid , so the powers that be made sure sombody was in place that "cared"

    you will see.

  • umm, remember he's only the president - ELECT..for the time being. trust me im sure he's aware of the steps he's taken and being careful with each step. it's like playing chess. Just give him some time. he can't make binding measurements until the 20th.

  • when it comes to radical, masive change and improvements to the world its down to the people not one man

  • No.

Obama is a serveant to the corporate and banking powers that run government. He has appointed Robert Gates as defence secretary (who was under Bush), has Briezniski as his adviser (a hawkish foreign policy man), and a pro-Israel and a pro-bailout stance.

He is just an uncle tom. Sadly; as much as I hate that term.

  • Judging by his appointments so far, I see little "change" coming.

  • dude....he's not even president yet.

  • Obama rocks, alot more then Mc Cain and his supporters HAHA.

  • Not really. It would be the same shadow government behind each figure pulling the strings.

  • Obama can help, sure, but it's all about what we do. Not about depending on others. As individuals, we can change the world, but will it be for ignorance, or for truth? That's first, your own personal decision.

  • I am a Barack Obama supporter and I know he is human just like everyone else he cannot change the world but he can improve it. George Bush was the worst US President in US history. Barack Obama cannot be any worse than GB. He cannot work miracles he is not Jesus Christ.

  • Obama, in my opinion, set an example of a well rounded and determined politician during his campaign. However, it is important to remember that problems to human welfare and prosperity around the globe are deep and complex and will not be removed in one night. Fight against poverty, misconduct and corruption requires thoughtful strategies, determination and persistence from all of us. Let all be in this direction and let all hope.

  • Obama is another Zionist puppet.

While we'll have plenty of froth and photo ops of him Sarkozy and Zipi Livni saving the world.

His main allegiance is to the powerful freelance PR Machine that got him where he is: Israel

  • Will the Obama administration???

WHATS HE DOING TO HELP PALESTINIANS AND WORLD PEACE NOW obama is bush nothing will change bring on iraq 2-pakistan and more depression through media created terrorism and save the planet global warming rubbish

  • Let's face it, he can't do a worse job than the current incumbent, can he?

  • HOPE...Never comes.

CHANGE....U havent said what your going to change.

    YES WE CAN....Can What?

    Speaks a lot...says nothing.

  • i wont move my butt for these fake davos debate that every politician ignores. Obama is not Jesus. he won't change that much so please don't be overenthusiastic. Especially foreigners. Obama will serve for the U.S. NOT the world. He is still not the freedom fighter we want to see. E.g. He supports the death penalty...

    CosmopoltianUnion

  • When will the United States of America realise the world does not just consist of themselves!

How exactly could the USA administration possibly effect every government in the world?!

  • Soon when they are no longer the Super power

  • We're all doomed now!

  • its time to arm yourself as its world war of human against instutions like bbc, uk, and all the x british empire, united nation made by united kingdom like isareal.abuse rule and make laws for others to become slave,as we rent this world from abuser and slave makers

  • he will be greatest scapegoat of 2009.

  • Ill see you there!

  • We'll just have to wait and see.

  • Obama and his administration will hopefully be the intelligent, diplomatic rational thinkers that they seem to be. I hope that they will resolve the War on Terrorism the way that it SHOULD have been done in the first place: Diplomacy and Negotiating.

However, the national debt is out of their control. Not many people understand how much money THREE HUNDRED TRILLION DOLLARS is. At the rate we're going right now, i doubt that even I will live to see the end of this debt.

  • Obama rock he wil change the country and for the good hes great

  • Can't do any worse than bush

  • if you believe that the empty suit obama will do anything that will help the world you are beyond help.

WHEN has he EVER done anything but run for higher office?

  • No he won't, he will not improve the world nor america either, because he wants to continue the treasonous north american union, which will destroy american sovereignty.

  • Obama is just a man, an icon of the presidency. I personally think hes the best icon in a long time, if that inspires the 'people' the ones that really make the world a better place, then yes, but if the ecomy fails, volcanos appear in LA and horses start eating each other then he'll be your scapegoat as being the tool of the devil, and then elect yet another fundamentalist doucher with the brains of a pea

  • My life WILL get better, mostly cause I'm not an american!:P

  • Just wondering, shouldn't he be more worried about turning around the state of our country first, and then the world. I mean, he was elected to lead the U.S. right? But i don't think he is gonna pull it off, cause he already has too many ego's in is admin.

  • obama has a club foot. little known fact.

  • fosho it will.

  • its all messed up no one can fix the state of the world it will take much more than obama and the U.S.A it will take the world and much more than 8 years so no not one bit think what you will but he wont he cant sorry but its true we are in for some bad times not much will get better things will probly get even more messed up bye the time you have read this it has like 75 thumbs down....all you obama fan freaks no we cant get no one can

  • what kind of a question is this?? how could a single "improve the state of our world". Geez, its one of this things that makes me miss Ronald Reagan: govt cannot do everything for us my people we have to do things for ourselves. Even though mr. Obama is supposed to be the new FDR (or JFK or whatever you call him) he is still a man and we should have very realistic expectations of him. I can't believe that people want him to take us all to disneyworld.

  • i think obama is the best black president weve ever had. O_O !!!

  • well i'm confident obama would do a much better job than bush.

  • It was a big shock and a change for USA as Obama became the president, but i believe he could change this state for good, but then again, it's impossible for 1 person to do all the work, we all have to put effort in what we do. only together we can make a change.

there are so many crazy stuff going around the world like global warming, war, murdering etc. and because of who? US! only we all together, can make a difference.

  • Obama cetainly DOES NOT ROCK. He spent 700 mil on this campain. Agreed with McCain not to take private money. John McCain promised NOT to take private money, did not take private money. He spent about 30 bucks. Guess who wins. Obama BOUGHT the presidency. Obama...what a joke!!!

  • The future is unknown, all we can do is act in the present, in order to create a better future.President elect Obama is a product of his environment. His main attribute, intellectual common sense. Due to limited time and space I will comment; Obama due to his unique Alpha knowledge will most likely make his decisions free from the restrictions of Viral misconceptions of reality. This should prove beneficial to the future of the world economic, and environmental conditions.

  • America needs to get it's own house in order before it starts trying to "fix" the rest of the world.

  • Obama's not eligible for the presidency... WHEN he gets in, he will make the constitution defunct.

Just watch. If you don't understand, watch my video. It really doesn't get any simpler.

He's a tool, and racial pride and "hope" are the bait to make people rape their own constitution.

That deserves a big "LOL!" if you ask me.

  • I think Obama will be an awesome president, but I don't think he's gonna be able to do what the world is expecting out of him.

  • Are you serious? Obama didn't do a thing good for the US as a Senator and he sure won't do anything good for the US as a president much less the world!

  • Are you serious? Obama didn't do a thing for the US as a Senator and he sure won't do anything good for the US and much less for the world as a president.

  • Obama will not improve the state of the world. John F Kennedy once said "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."

Today, people are waiting for Obama to "change" and install a group of fresh experts. Instead Obama broke one of his biggest promises and used old Washington workers. Watch Obama break more of his broken promises.

  • you are dumb ...its common sense...its better start running than walking if you can do it...obama wont save nothing he is not a messiah...it will take a joint effort ...but between him a mccain and sarah palin...please...this man is most qualified president yet

  • totally agree. thumbs up<3

  • oh thats harsh obama rock

  • you make some good points. i'd like to believe obama will try to make things better and not just take advantage of his position, but you're right that he wont make too much of a change... there's too much crap going on and he doesnt have the resources to fix everything. you're completely right, the people need to make the change. but people are innately lazy and will take the easiest route nearly every time... i doubt we will see much, if any, change.

  • You were boring

  • no he will be the best...ever...

  • Of course he will be the best african american president..... hes the ONLY one

  • so far the only one too.

  • "Will the Obama administration improve the state of the world in 2009?"

    Nope.

  • i think he is great and he will change america for the good

  • No. Things will get worse before they get better. People will get pissed at Obama for this reason, but we don't live in a Disney movie and problems don't resolve themselves within an hour or even a year.

  • if by "improve the state of the world", you mean, "completely debase the American dollar and cause an economic downturn worse than the Great Depression", sure, the Obama administration will improve the state of the world.

  • but he won the election so ha

  • I'm looking forward to his policy, but I think even if he is really intelligent, the condition of the U.S economy is not easily getting better. He has a lot of heavy burdens.

  • Obama rocks, alot more then Mc Cain and his supporters HAHA.

  • why is it always 'the world'? hes the president of the USA, not a world ruler. america isnt the only place out there

  • i dont care.

  • yes he will

  • yes he will

  • One thing is sure... he's blissfully sunbathing in Hawaii now.

  • Wow! Improve the state of the world. Megalomania.

  • Will the Obama administration improve the state of the world in 2009?

bit late to be asking this...election is long over

  • America is full of immature souls, don't expect any solution any time soon.

Obama only has the power his minions lend him.

So when the people wipe the mud from their own eyes, then there is progress, don't expect obama to do it for you, you have to make effort yourselves.

Your laziness and ignorance is the cause of your suffering.

    Deal with it.

  • He's not going to do anything good in this world he isnt meant to, He just does what he's told like a good boy! He who makes the money makes the rules! And that the bank.

  • i think obamas impact will be entirely negative, in every way imaginable.

he will accelerate the ship into the rocks

  • work hard to keep the job first, if got fired, try to be your own boss. Do not hang yourself on one tree, what do you think?

  • you cant improve the state of the world its too much to do in just 4 years

  • All improvement starts with self improvement.

Don't expect governments to do it for us.

It has to start on the micro level, then the macro takes care of itself.

Politics solves nothing. It's for the self deluded.

  • Don't wanna spoil your Christmas 'beldurgo', but your high expectations of obama, are (sadly) misplaced. All US wars are illegal and no-one has the power to stop them.

Bush has simply been following orders from Self-centred, Cruel, Greedy Controllers and Obama will do the same.

The puppeteers remain the same, only the puppets change.

  • If he walks, talks, & smiles like FDR ......

  • He doesn't walk like FDR. FDR was in a wheelchair.

  • I want to see Actions Enough of Articles and words, Actions and Change I will trust Obama when he does something as he Promised.

  • He'll improve America. But not the world. The world has to worry about itself.

  • How naif can you be?

Who will improve America? And what America are you talking about? The USA or the new America (USA, Canada and Mexico)?

Just a last question how can you improve America but not the world? That sounds a bit unlogical to me...

  • 1 Naiive

    2 illogical

3 Sorry why should improving America improve the world? Except for that tiny part of it

  • Give me an example of how the second Bush Administration did right by this country and maybe I'll believe you.

  • He'll improve it by not starting illegal wars and then stealing all of our money to fund it

  • nope

  • i believe nobody where there's money involved ,look at this one guy who deceived thousands of people with a pyramid scheme , the result is he's living in a penthouse in new york !

god bless who are damned .

  • Actually it wasn't a pyramid scheme - You've been double blinded. All such investment funds are going under. These guys decided to fold early before 1000s crashed, miss the boat and claim it was a pyramid scheme so that the investors will get a % bail-out by the government. In terms of a business decision they made the best one - So they destroyed paper work and made what was a failed business from bad investment decisions look like a pyramid scheme to bail-out the clients.

  • Hello...

  • no, he'll hurt it by raising taxes on companies, therefore raising unemployment, and since that happens, the rich that own companies are going to be afraid to invest in other things. it hurts the entire world, at a slow rate.

  • He is going to close the doors to the rest of the World and get America in shape first!...and rightly so, charity begins at home.

It will be tough for the rest of us, but a strong America will benefit Europe in the long run.

  • I don't think Obama has any idea what he's gotten himself into. He hadn't even finished one term in the senate yet and the thinks he's ready to be President?! He fooled the people on "hope and change." Just what does he hope to change? That changes depending on the day.

So his head is in a noose. He better come up with something quick or he might be in for some big trouble. That and he hasn't changed a thing putting Clinton's appointees back in, can we say Clinton's 4th term? I can!

  • Last time i remember, in the clinton administration, we had an 80 billion dollar surplus now its a 12 trillion deficit, so go do the math. This moment of economic turmoil is not the time to be experimenting with new and inexperienced guys, that's why he is bringing in very experienced people who happen to be geniuses like Geithner, Volcker and Summers, you can call them clinton people (volcker was treaury secetary in the late 70's and 80's) but truth is they know how to get us out of this mess.

  • LOvely

  • "...Will the Obama administration improve the state of the world in 2009?..."

    no, he won't!

he recieved almost 750.000.000 $ from the bankers and speculators who own the whole world to perpetuate their rain and so the monetary system, that is by itslef vicious, fraudulent and inhuman.
