  • Brian Blessed before he started shouting everything

  • Stupid i guess

  • thanks Eye_Ear_Brain_Machine for sending me this way!!!!

  • oh look it's BRIAN BLESSEEEDDDDDD!!

  • Susan George, pouting lips to die for.

  • Thumbs up if ud reconise brian blessed from yogscast

  • Blood killer.. West side crips

  • Brian Blessed kind of looks like Dabney Coleman.

  • why would that man leave that woman? she is beautiful her for time and really he does not even diverse her in the first place

  • What is this, like, a UK version of Alfred Hitchcock Presents?!!?

  • I just realized that the actor portraying Susan George's husband is the Nazi from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. lol

  • I remember the Hitchcock version. Did Dahl ever do it on "Way Out?"

  • @Onlymusical BarbaraBelgeddes or Miss Ellie from Dallas did the earlier version.

  • 4 people ate the evidence with a hair in it

  • thankyou

  • This is much better than the Hitchcock version. I found the characters rather flat and one dimensional. This version the characters are fuller and more believable. Susan George will never be seen as a great actress but she is fine here. Brian Blessed is one of those great character actors who is not seen nearly enough.

  • God bless Youtube. I have not seen this in probably thirty years. I remember the New York staton that aired Tales of the Unexpected late at night. I loved the dark and macabre introductions by the author Roald Dahl. I just watched this story done on Alfred Hitchcock Presents on Hulu and was just thinking how I wished I could see this version. And here we are. I used to own the collection of stories upon which this series was based. It's great see Dahl beyond his "children" books.

  • I remember reading this book at school, short classic

  • I watched this in year 7 for a project, this one is brillant

  • Oh that's a classic! Remember this one

  • he just stands there for like 5 seconds after getting hit in the head

  • @SLeeTsc talk about spoilers.

  • Hitchock's version is so much better!

  • the woman acts great!

  • CaelionBrundwick

There are no bad actors in this episode!

  • This is pure Grand Guignol I think it would be wonderful on stage

  • Brian! I love you! XD

  • She wasn't caught?

  • Shouldnt this be called HAM to the slaughter???

  • Her name is Mary Maloney, not whatever they put on there.

  • Please stop with all the english class comments... they're everywhere.

I've been watching a few of these mini series based on Roald Dahl's short stories (this and Alfred Hitchcock presents) and I think it's quite sad that nobody seems to comment on how brilliant his work was.

  • Watched this in english and had to do an essay on it :/

  • Headway A2 level - good for Past Simple , it's call the Perfect Crime, but she killed him with an ice statue

  • omg agreed to all the comments about the lady being a bad actor :L

  • ARE YOU SERIOUS? WORSE ACTOR IN THE HISTORY OF BAD ACTING.

  • I love the cop at 3:12

  • There's a corpse lying on the floor, so why did that police inspector open the curtains?

  • lucky girl XD

  • Moral of the story-Murder your unfaithful husband with frozen meat :)

  • I like the black and white version better

  • The written, original was so much better

  • "oh please come, please, quickly" LOL I can't help but say,"That's what she said"

  • That actress is unbearably sweet, she could,ve owned up and the jury would've let her off!

  • "Hello? Who's that?"

"You rang me, you crazy bitch!"

  • the woman looked like she was wearing a wig~

  • this guys a dick, id kill him in'all!

  • Is the lady acting as a bad actor or is that just her?

  • @CaelionBrundwick with in the first 10 seconds i was saying "bad acting alert!" lol

  • @CaelionBrundwick Susan George is actually a great actress. Here, if you watched the entire story, you'll see that her character is the bad "actor" not Susan George herself. Just as in real life, most people who act because they're lying are extremely catchable if you pay attention to their over emoting and odd niceness.

  • @CaelionBrundwick she was dating prince Charles

  • We read this story in the 7th grade in english

  • @JimiPain lol, we done it in year 9

  • @TheOversizedPumpkin But probably not in german, right?^^

  • @JimiPain Lol same im in seventh grade now and we just read it

  • @JimiPain same here!!!

  • A pregnant Susan George - phroooagh Jesus!

  • Thanks for putting this up I have to research tthis for college.
