Maybe both of them hungry for affection, care and love. In COTLC, you see also better, the contrast between the strong man who has a child's soul and the little but strong spirited girl. Sry for my BAD english.

In LTROI, harder to see these. Because LTROI is more refined, and ambivalent. Here I think the girl symbolize the Man with great strength, but somebody who knows little about the life and feelings.

It´s a surrealistic, futuristic-nostalgic styled movie, playing in a Jules Verne meets David Lynch world. Everything looks carny style and a bit rusty. There are a lot of philosophic topics with dark humour woven into it, like the questions when does childhood/innocence end, what is individuality, what does love/friendship mean, casual chain reactions and coincidences.Either you love or you hate it, I guess. I like this clip, the song suits and gets the melancholic mood.

I think you've created a stunningly haunting and beautiful little clip/ tribute here! The music is atmospheric, dark, but is distantly sweet and just *so* perfect for this film, which isn't entirely dark, but certainly not light (bittersweet, like dark chocolate, I'd say ;)). And your editing? Awesome timing. Everything just *works* - it's a pleasure to watch :D
