How very extraordinary ! Form is just beautiful. As said here this absolutely radiates peace and harmony. This is delicious for the soul to behold. Thank you Dr Pauline.
I am currently learning this form, and this is a very inspiring performance to watch. I especially like the subtleties of your movement of the jian in your hand as you go into striking postions.
I just found your videos, and am enjoying them so much. Beautiful and Inspiring. I am also an acupuncturist, herbalist, and mother of a 4 year old daughter. Your video inspires me to continue with my tai chi practice. Keep up the good work, Pauline. Peace and Blessings to you and your practice.
@billtheelder Very graceful movements! Joyful to watch! To the point of practicing sword ( not wooden but metal) in UK I found zero problem practicing outside in fields, forest and parks. I practice almost every day outside and nobody ever said anything. Absolutely no problem but wonderful to practice!
@Bluebellinata I also enjoy practice in the park. The sword I use in public isn't real, but from more than a few feet away it looks completely authentic, and no one has ever commented, although I get the odd strange look. Do bear in mind that if someone was to call the police, a metal sword, even if it's blunt, can be considered an offensive weapon and possession in public with no good reason is an arrestable offence.
@StNige Thank you for pointing out the possible consequences. I have been made aware of this possibility before but decided to just practice anyway hoping to cause no offence as it is just too lovely to practice outside. I shall go and find more remote places.... :~)
@Bluebellinata From your nice attitude I doubt very much that you cause any offence to anyone anywhere. May you continue to enjoy your sword play and I wish you all the best my friend.
@StNige Thank you for your kind words! Yielding is aspired - alternatively I could try to convince 'the authorties' of the many benefits of Tai Chi (sword) ~ maybe rather useful in their very profession :~)

Hi Phil. Thanks for the nice comments...I'm glad I can be of some help. I'm sorry, but I don't have any 'rear view' videos yet. I will certainly keep this in mind for the future.
Very nice performance. Did you film this in Sanya, Hainan Island?

Wow! So graceful, beautiful presentation. I strive for the grace shown shown by Dr Pauline.
In the UK even practice with a wooden sword has to be done in private as we are obsessed with the threat of terrorism here!
Please consider a rear view of the form for we who are learning slowly!
Best wishes please keep posting videos!

Hi. Thanks for the nice comments. Several people have expressed an interest in rear views. I'll put it on my list of videos to make :)
