Speaking of Bach's organ preludes, could someone please help me out with the BWV. of one of them? It features an opening pedal solo, in which multiple ornaments (trills, mordants, etc.) are everywhere, making that intro, in my opinion, and with no offense intended to all the organists out there, long-winded.
Notice what his left hand is doing...very subtle but effective changing of the pitch of each pedal (previously left hand) note, alternating presumably 16' and 8' alone pitches by constantly switching a stop tab on and off. A single simple left hand part is realised as two distinct 'parts' of different pitch.
@Mooser42001 oh, yes he is listening to himself. his brain works faster than mine (and probably yours). he's actually playing the way anthony newman and a few others played bach in the 70s. his bach tempi are not new. listen to busoni play his transcription of the organ chorale prelude "rejoice, beloved christians". that takes the cake for all time. it will give you something to comment about! best luck to you.
@riverscuomo06 Hauptwerk is a software, not a hardware product, and in itself quite cheap, 600 dollars for the Advanced version (plus sample sets). The console hardware is probably quite expensive, say up to 5000 dollars.
@polikimre I know what Hauptwerk is. At school we run it on an old Rogers console that we equipped with midi contacts because those keyboards are so damn expensive!
GONNA MAKE SOME PURCHASES!

Too fast, not enough consideration. Like he's not really listening to himself.

I need a practice organ like the one in his living room! It's probably not very expensive since it's pretty bare.

@speaks3703 I think it's a Hauptwerk. So no, not cheap at all!
