  • It's my favourite song. Thx Frank!

  • this song finishes and every time the beginning of if ever i stray starts playing in my head

  • 0 dislikes. AS IT SHOULD BE.

  • I had no idea who Frank Turner was before I saw him on a whim at a show with some friends, and it was a good show, but he came on and I had no idea what happened to me, the music washed over me in a way I had never experienced before. I moshed for the first time to this song, and it was packed, and I'm a little kinda girl and I was totally lifted off the ground from the force of all the people around me, and this song marks the single best day of my entire life to today.

  • Surely health and safety have something to say about this?

  • best one on the new album :)

  • simple ; this rocks

  • It's strange, the lyrics by themselves seem to be purely hopeful - but the way he sings it makes it seem insidious, egotistical. The use of 'innocents' helps create this, I think

  • 0 dislikes....well you dont see that everyday on youtube now....i think that says it all in the end :P

  • #nowplaying

  • to be honest... no song is completely without a reference to Fyodor Dostoyevsky and a sweet as bass solo!

  • Frank Turner is a legend

  • It reminds me of John Lennon's acoustic guitar strumming in Gotta Serve Yourself.

  • i dont know if its just me but this song seems slightly sinister .... freaking amazing .. but sinister

  • @echoplextic probably because he's going to be all up in you, according to the lyrics lol.

  • @benchamp lol all up in you. Sounds dirty

  • @echoplextic once we were anarchists! the faces have changed but the game is still the same....

  • this is the first time ive listened to this song and all i can think is wow....

  • I have to say. I have never read such poetic lyrics. Frank Turner is a lyrical masterpiece-maker.

  • @AliceItoko go listen to some million dead. franks lyrics there are just the best punk poetry ever

  • I see a lot of people are reminded of other bands with this song. I am one of those people. It really reminds me of New Model Army. Awesome!

  • this is amazing wish i had the spare money for the album

  • @mullacABC Just skip 2 meals and go buy it. That's what I did lol

  • @wllychng21 not a bad idea

  • This song is about the only afterlife an atheist should give a fuck about: Influencing skinny English folk guitarists.

  • Frank Turner being Badass.

  • See u in Hamburg this Sunday ..... for a few "Becks" and good singing :)

  • Some people compare Frank Turner to God. Frankly, I dont know, i mean hes pretty good and stuff, but he's no Frank Turner.

  • @Swissevans86 Fuck that, I think you're some kind of god..

  • @Swissevans86 Your comment contains much win. Much, much win.

  • @Swissevans86 My respect for this comment is unmeasurable.

  • I'd hope a can of ash would be filtered out before the water left the reservoir, or I'm having a word with United Utilities ;) Nah, it's still an awesome song :D

  • Standout track from the album as far as I'm concerned. Amazing.

  • Frank's been listening to System of a Down. Awesome though!

  • @benparcellmusic reminds me of the old Million Dead material.

  • @benchamp I wrote a status much to that effect :P

  • @benparcellmusic Nought wrong with system! Caught them both at download, huge fans of both!

  • @benparcellmusic I can hear a bit of Muse in this too.

  • @coneyfan Yeah, sounds a lot like Stockholm Syndrome. Similar drum beat, guitar line and bass rhythm.

  • @coneyfan

me too the muse sound! @ 2.00 especially

  • @wybsterman fuck yeah Muse ftw too. I love English bands. Love American bands too though heh = )

  • @wllychng21 I think a lot of bands would slap you if they see you refer to them as "English"

A lot of big alternative bands have come more from Scotland and Wales rather than the pop, brit pop and mainstream music that England almost methodically produces

  • @benparcellmusic I was just saying to my friend the other day that this sounds like System. Glad I don't feel like a idiot.

  • Can't wait to see this played live, bring on July and November!

  • Some say he is less than a god, but more than a man.... Turner!!!!!
