@afairytaledreamer this is the first time i have bothered to comment to a comment on youtube, but the sentiment you convey couldn't be more true. it seems he and vernon are worlds apart but the haunting and expresive feeling of their music is the same. i have only jsut discovered JVM in the past week but i have the impression that his work, especially this debut album (in canada) will stalk me in the same way the for emma and blood bank have in these recent years.

@lawrenceCShagan I know that exact feeling! I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I've introduced Bon Iver and James V. McMorrow to many of my friends and family and although a few like there music not many of them appreciate the depth and emotion that is expressed in it.
