  • This is not indie .-.

  • Nice legs, all. xD

  • just seen them in Norwich, bit of a bore! seen it all before, not enough space for the melodies to work. Not a bad sound but not many songs to write home about!

  • buena rola apoyo el comentario No es Emo es Indie

  • Was that MP martin Amiss MP?

Please tell us of the dangers of Cake!

  • Reminds me a song from CAN (German Group) call Mother Sky.

  • Soooo joy division

  • Stop the fight! The Horros just are changing and it's good all the thing they do.!

  • Emo...

    Gay...

    Indie...

    It's music

    what's the problem?

  • joy division sound like garage, underground at their time......but now, indie or not, warner bought them.....!!!! they stay still joy division....anyway....

  • indie or not, what the fuck,i like it

  • "The horrors are indie", like dude, seriously?

Ever heard of genre Garage ?

  • I hope that when I go see the horrors at the MEN next year with Florence Welch, I meet a Mr Noel Fielding look alike to be my boyfriend :3 x

  • the band ... are The Horros, fuck yeaah!

  • reminds me of joy division

  • @ukthk555 sure,by the name of their songs

  • 'Indie' is equally as shit a statement as 'Emo'. Shut up and listen!

  • fuck EMO, fuck yes INDIE ROCK

  • I. Want. His. Hair. :3

  • One of the best track since the last 10 years

  • Supporting Florence and the Machine 2012...Nice !

  • holy shit the sound quality changes alot from 360p to 480p :)

  • crazy good,amazing

  • awesome studying music

  • I can't even like holy fuck this is just so GREAT

  • I don't know why but the video reminds me of Astronomy Domine by Pink Floyd

Watch the video and you'll see: /watch?v=ts-2lg5fpQ4

  • CALM AS THE COLOUR check this new band out

  • saw a pretty damn good live version tonight by these guys. I wish they would have played for another 20 minutes. They played nothing off the first album which is a damn shame.

  • Reminds of Foals. So amazing song, makes me fly!!

  • oh, the guitar player has the same haircut as mr greenwood, what a pitty

  • sound like a joy division

  • @Anik010 I'm thinking more the Doors, no?

  • Yeaah

  • If you love The Horrors. Check out The Deep Transition on here. They are heavily influenced by The Horrors. Search them on facebook. The Deep Transition. You will love them

  • @RoryAstenBell Agree with you , its so great to find a band similar to these guys!!! will be sure to like! , its good that this sort of music continues, :)

  • I fucking hate that people shuv music into neat little genres anyway... surely that's implying that all music of the same genre is exactly the same? genre was put in place for people to find their way around music more easily, it needn't be debated on youtube....

  • the velvet underground

  • @shiiovolkova not even close

  • @Markthompson123 not even their work with warhol and the use of lights+images stuff?

  • @shiiovolkova actually my thoughts were exactly that. In the beginning of the film were the band plays and all of the psychedelic lighting that changes constantly - I just went "Velvet Underground."

  • well post-punk is in again. oh wait, it has been in for the last 3 decades or so.

  • All your horrors are belong to us. Hehehe.

  • Indie has multiple meanings ballsacks. Suck it up and enjoy the music damn it.

  • This film was inspired by psychedelia too, check it out

    Black Biscuit - Official Trailer

  • they are the borrowers... they go to a great library... I love them

  • 138 people have no taste.

  • HAVE A LISTEN TO US!

  • Welcome the horrors. My new favorite band. Join the ranks you lucky bastards!...

  • anyone else think theyve copied Joy Division with the start. Like when tony wilson introduces she's lost control? anyone

  • @ryantorkington92 Most Definitely. I think it's more of a homage than a blatant rip off though.

  • @ryantorkington92 ... perhaps they are paying homage to Joy Division, I wouldn't be surprised if they are one of their main influences. Certainly sounds it :)

  • @Caseypuppy123 INDIE IS SHORT FOR INDEPENDANT LABEL SO ANY BAND ON AN INDEPENDANT LABEL IS INDIE WHAT A SPUD HEAD!

  • 134 people dont know what good music is.

  • similar to The chameleons. very new wave and thank god for that...something new for me to buy

  • This song is nothing except beautiful.

And 134 people are at risk of drowning in a sea within a sea.

  • The Horrors are indie.

    Not emo.

So emo kids go slit your wrists and die.

    Thanks.

  • @Caseypuppy123 They are what they are. the end.

  • @Caseypuppy123 they sound new wave..

  • @Caseypuppy123 They're actually newwave/shoegaze/alt.

    Indie isn't a genre fucknuts.

Learn your shit before you try to belittle people.

    Thanks.

  • @carefaceeightyseven Indie is a genre fucking retard.

  • @Caseypuppy123 Indie is a status you dipshit. Not a genre. Calling indie a genre suggests a link between your personal wealth, and the type of music you make. Your financial situation shouldn't impact the sound of the music you make.

  • @Caseypuppy123 That's extremely rude.

  • @Caseypuppy123 Whats an indie look like? herp derp

  • @vejaji2 Just think of 1980 rock/ indie rock. They wear darkish clothes like grey, green, brown. The emos then wear black with some really bright colours like red or blue.

  • @lostteen08 Oh god I was being sarcastic...

  • @vejaji2 How on earth was that comment sarcastic?

  • @lostteen08 Figure it out.

  • @vejaji2 Ya

  • @Caseypuppy123

    lol it's neither of those

  • @Caseypuppy123 the horrors are shoegaze and post punk band, not indie...

  • @Caseypuppy123 ur an asshole for saying that.

  • @Caseypuppy123 Indie doesn't exist. Emos don't exist (not anymore). And so do you.

  • to me, it seems that the band, the singer in particular, draw a lot of influence from the often ethereal tones of the doors.

  • i cant believe the twats on here are so full of shit! "oh yes good job lads....but the synths are to synthy maybe if you play it backways up a squirrels ass youd achieve a fuller sound....oh and it sounds very much like a band called bum krust from back in 2000 they have been playing with squirrels asses since the 80's........but yes good job good job chaps now im going back to wanking my dead mum off!!" haha you sad pretentious idiots!!

  • @ngt13 best comment i've read in years, i'm printing it and putting it next to paintings in my room (keeping ur acc. name on). Thanks for a really good laugh!

  • is the guy at the beginning the guy from spaced?

  • @burnie2378347890 The program? Do you mean Brian? I hope you don't. He looks nothing like Mark Heap.

  • my dad is the stupidest piece of shit. he thinks these guys want people to think

"The whores" when they here the band name. yeahh fucking right, they're DEFIANTLY like that. YAY, for good taste in music NAY for blinded dads with a horrible taste in music.

  • Just shut the fuck up and listen you vapid cunts.

  • dull and vey boring after 2 plays

  • In good company with the greats. No need to mention them, as we all know who they sound like (no bad thing). Bags of credit due to em since they're obviously listening to the right stuff. My only criticism is that the synths sound too clean and unchallenging towards the end.

  • guys...although sounds good comin' from the roots of what's called Kraut, a band called Appliance played those tunes far back in the late 90s-early 00s

  • some software to do the visuals....please

  • thats great... C.Voltaire... The Sound... The Bolshoi... just love it....

  • my track and video of the year

  • This is ridiculous...you need to listen to Can - Mother Sky...RIP OFF...

  • @fearofjazz Oh bollocks off. Can didn't write this, the horrors did.

  • wow, so im a American Metalhead/Stoner, and i remember adding this band on myspace 5 years ago, The Horrors are fuckin crazy, I MEAN SMOKE A FAT ASS BLUNT TO THIS AND YOUR MIND GOES ON A FUCKIN JOUNEY FROM TOMS SYNTHESIZER, :)

  • this is one of my fave high tunes everrrr

  • Now that is what I call a long into

  • Good track: I am a massive fan of krautrock and of course this is straight from 1971. For interest you all might like to watch the following clips - you'll be surprised by the lack of evolution of this form of spacemusic. Start with Neu in 1971 "Hallogallo" then play mid 80s New Zealand flyning nun - The Clean "Point that thing somewhere else" - then early 1990 with Stereolab - "jenny ondioline" I think you'll agree that while good - this track by the Horrors is far from new. Hope you all enjoy

  • @chrisg9957 like your style mate. a good musical taste always pleases me. if you havent already check out the first 2 kraftwerk albums two (red traffic cone and green traffic cone) also, there's a kraftwerk radio thing from 70/71 (cant remember) that is the shit we like. sounds more like neu! cos dinger is drummer. gotta go, my chick is back. keep in touch!

  • Who's the man introducing them at the beginning? Such an interesting tone of voice...

  • Has anyone else heard the seagulls in the background near the end? listen super closley. turn it up LOUD.

  • one of the first few times I heard this I cried. On my ipod, cranked up almost all the way.

  • so good.

  • i think im in love!

  • Holy Shit! I have goosebumps...

  • Aunty Sue likes this it makes me think of Can and that brilliant gig at the Kursal o so long ago.... all the best chaps and love too

  • this is so hypnotic, so good to lose yourself to, their third album is going to be epic!!!!!

  • It's from the future and the past...

  • @ sarnath66f

agreed! just a bunch of talentless trendies (or T-T's if you prefer)

  • @anonym572 Compared to the vast majority of bands that are around, i'd say they are very talented and have a great sound. Its not all about being the best musicians if you work well together in a band.

  • my favourite!magical sound (:

  • it's like music from the future.

  • @1schwererziehbar1 Or the past ... Check out Hallogallo by Neu...

  • @1schwererziehbar1

more like minimalism for the 50s...

  • @1schwererziehbar1 or the stone roses mixed with joy division set in the 60's

  • Tyler like thiss great

  • @1schwererziehbar1 you mean...from the past ? :)

  • @1schwererziehbar1

if anything it's music from the past, sounds exactly like New Wave, which is why I love it so much.

  • @1schwererziehbar1 from the future? It comes from the past i suggest to listen hallogallo from NEU! the german Krautrock band! Greetings..

  • @snap0r4z agreed mate.however, they bring something new and exciting to it.Take the Mary Chain for example, blatant hybrid of velvets and the ronettes- it wasn't the influences that made them original - it was the way it was put together. anyway, how many 'vocal tracks' did you ever hear on classic neu! (Neu!,Neu! 2 and Neu! 75) there are four (5?) over the course of 3 classic albums! Neu! are one of my fav bands,.Paid a fortune for the box last year and went to watch the gigs. I get you tho!
