Dommage il ne piaffe pas trés bien, et il ne détache pas ses postérieurs correctement lors de la "cabriole". C'est + entre la balottade et la cabriole. Encore un peu d'entrainement! ^^

hmm Your horse looks verry stressed at the priroutte's, the capriole and your piaffe. That things you better do with a Longeing cavesson. This doen't look so frriendly...
Thank you for your comment. This video does not show any finished work, all it shows is a glimps of the long process of learning, we (my horse and me) are learning together how to establish a common balance with a mutual trust and confidence, this means aiming for perfection, a hard work that is always acompanied with certain stress, as every student, sportsman or artist would confirm.
Sometimes I work my horse on a light cavesson an I also ride him on a cavesson from time to time. The advantage of the way of schooling in hand that is shown in our videos is that the horse is not restricted by any sidereins. Than again, every bridle is as harmless, gentle and friendly as is the hand that is using it...
Look at our more recent videos and make a comparison, if you want to. Than wait patiently to see our perfect reunion, I will wait as well...may it be it comes one day...
@myrleans He's only just learning. I wouldn't expect him to be perfect from the start. It takes time and practice for horses to become comfortable with something new
He is ten. It is surely dangerous to ask the horse to do anything he is not yet ready for, I agree. Nevertheless I can assure you that my horse is not being ruined by the work I do with him, to the contrary, he remains sound and is getting stronger, better balanced and more confident throughout the time.
The "haute ecole" shown here is still imperfect and performed within the possibilities of the horse. He can do much better today and will keep improveing, as I do not ask him for the impossible.

I shall look at some other movie's.
I know that stress is realy normal. I stay by my opinion that u better use a longeing cavesson that is a much more friendly than an bridle

how old is he? Don't you know that it's really dangerous for horse health to do such Haute Ecole figures until the age of 12-13?
