@M16ELITEZzZ Left 4 liberty versions won't work for 1.0.4.0, but after i get my L4LI v5.0 out i'm going to finish "Outbreak", which will be 1.0.4.0 compatible. I installed a second operation system / harddrive so i could have 1.0.4.0 to program it and test it.

Without a doubt the best zombie mod I've ever seen for gta4 . MUCH props. A reskin for peds and more cars on the highways would have made it perfect. if someone could change the story with a mod to go with this, that would be real sick. maybe if the houses were on fire... but w.e. , dreamers can dream. I have a question, the zombies don't attack PEDS in the street they only come after me and PEDS that are in cars is this meant to happen? after seeing the video about the infection spreading even though it says not in current versions (Not sure if it meant the spreading engine or the hostility to normal peds) i was expecting for them to still attack PEDS or am i wrong? it seems a really good mod and would like to see more updates

@LegionOfZombies I'm working on a solution to that... the zombies are two slow to "catch" the peds that are in movement. They will fight the peds on the streets, problem is it doesn't happen alot. I'm working on a completely new engine that should also allow v1.0.4.0 players to be able to use the mod as well. It also allows the zombies go after peds in groups. The early engine, as of now, when a ped falls zombies in the area will hoard over it until it dies, then they go on hunting.

@calcilis if there were a way to 'insert' textures while a mod was active and then have them become 'extracted' i would jump on that. The whole point of the mod is to be able to turn it on / off at will. There are, however, people who have made 'zombie textures' with a ton of downloadable zombified characters.

@5freakcod no, i don't do graphic design but there are several downloads out there that have zombie skins in them. The thing with my mod is i want the player to be able to toggle it on / off without having to make any significant changes to the game, i.e., replace all the pedestrian textures or change game files. I want the player to be able to toggle on the mod, fight zombies, or toggle it off and play the game if they wish.

@CubexLT if you downloaded and installed the mod, open Left4LibertyZombieCorev2.0.ini and it will tell you all the controls. Also, if you go to gta4-modsDOTcom they are listed in the description. Survivor Controls are Y to remove them, B for the group, N for one. Toggle running zombies with I, and stop traffic and all zombies are Delete key.

@SouthCentral00 using .net scripthook i coded them to do it using visual basic. If you want to take a look at the code, it's in v.b. format, not compiled, so you can open it up in visual studio etc. Download it from gta4-modsDOTcom.

@SuperSweden12 No. I scrapped that idea for now because it was taking too long to spread. You could kill them off, or drive to a safe area, and that would be it. I did have it generating multiple peds doing the same thing, but again, the infection wasn't fast enough.

@tazer710 loaded question... i've been trying to figure out a way to have "multiplayer zombies" that doesn't crash whoever's game i jump into. On the same token i would like it to be 1.0.4.0 friendly for those who are afraid of change lol (I know, ENB and so on). As far as the other options some that are simple native trainer like may work, others i really don't know.
