  • The Greatest band of all time. Fact.

  • Killing Joke is a mythic group ;) Clic on thumbsup if i right ;)

  • Brings back ECW Memories

  • HAMMER 5

  • Good song but i prefer Fear Factory's version, it has more power.

  • @xXOphidianXx nope

  • @gamage3 tastes are different, my friend

  • @xXOphidianXx Tastes maybe different, but FYI this is the original song. They are the fathers of Industrial Metal Rock.

  • Comment removed

  • This sounds like modern industrial metal, but it's from '94. Amazing!

  • mega fucking song ever!

  • I, too saw this video in '94 on Headbanger's Ball. I bought the cassette, and to be honest, this was the only song I liked. I was thoroughlly disappointed with the rest of it. And I tried to like it, WANTED to like it. I really did. I listened to it over and over and the only thing I remember now was "Jana tested positive." But this song is a beast. I just sat here with my guitar and jammed out with the video for the first time in 17 years and still remembered most of it.

  • @SpiderSkot Same here, had to travel an hour to a stor that actually had this album.

  • what the hell only 102 k hits WTF

  • This song rocked back in '94 and still kicks fucking ass today. Cool video too.

  • ECW anyone?

  • @newjack31622 what does ecw anyone mean for the uncool non insider please

  • @soulkiss1001 Perhaps you didn't notice the question mark genius.

  • @newjack31622 ok what does ecw? mean ? no disrespect meant newjack im just curious if ecw? stands for anything please i like this song

  • @soulkiss1001 No problem. ECW was an indy wrestling organization known for its high level of violence that used this Killing Joke song as their main anthem/theme song. I just typed "ECW anyone?" to see if anyone remembered that.

  • anyone know why killing joke didnt like u2???? equip.org please post lyrics to millenium song

  • Jaz hated them for their optimism, but he said this before Atchung Baby...

  • What a great track, simple riff but oh so effective!!

  • Still brilliant......

  • I love how rammstein used this songs riff for bestrafe mich

  • this song owns

  • My favorite K.J. songs. Great post!

  • seriusly this song has hardcore influence

  • good song

  • man , this is GOOD , i wonder WHY mtv DON't TALK about THEM ... i just watched PER ACCIDENT

  • The Joke just RULES! Always on point....

  • @robeorman The Joke just RULE, anyone that refers to a group as if it's a thing is a sad victim of the MTV age. You do it on purpose, and it is sad. A group is more than one person, so anyone that says "The Beatles is good" is a dickhead. Kick the trend, it's embarassing. Cat Stevens IS good, Killing Joke ARE good. It's not difficult.

  • @Spankabuttux I duno if he was putting his comment into that much depth......

  • @LawnMowaBoy Haha, I know but this new thing about saying 'is' about a band REALLY gets on my tits. It makes me all RRRRRGGHHH and AAAARRGGHHHH.

  • @Spankabuttux haha allgood bro take it easy, and enjoy the music

  • @Spankabuttux Yeah, I know it's an old argument, but "are" only sounds right if the band's name ends with an "s", (i.e. The Beatles are awesome). Otherwise "is" is appropriate. Yes, a group is more than one person, but those people make up a group, therefore the group is the thing. And the thing are awesome. See how retarded that sounds? lol

  • @SpiderSkot Whether you treat a group as plural or singular depends on the regional usage. In the UK and Commonwealth countries, anything that is a plural entity in its parts is treated as plural. In the United States, the conjugation depends on the subject noun's number regardless of whether it integrates one or more than one. So, in Britain, Her Majesty's Government are a Conservative coalition. But in the United States, the Obama Administration is Democratic.

  • @TurtleFL An acceptable argument. It just goes to show how much difference a region can dictate the form of a language, even if it is at it's core, the same. Thank you for the insight.

  • Helt klart lite drag i denna låt

  • Awesome!!! thanks so mcuh

  • the lead singer looks fuckin' nuts! i love it!

  • i'm here pandemonium is in the place

respect us or not we don't care we are more stronger than millions guns

  • SKULL VON KRUSH!!

  • Is this mix in mono? It doesn't sound like the record.

  • Jaz got the Maori boys out there doing the haka. How cool is that.

  • last saw them in 82 and it was one of the most intense moments of my life.....and I been around......

.....what Geordie can do with one gretsch guitar is amazing in its true sense

  • Fear Factory version FTW

  • @Cyberwaste138 Both versions are good.

  • Imagine if you were riding a motorcycle; this would be the ultimate song to play when you are.

  • Pandemonium - No 1. in 90'

  • best song

  • Killing Joke - Keeping the 80s alive in the 90s

  • @cofpaddy I voted your comment up despite the 20 year discrepancy, which was obviously deliberate. I'm so proud I get humour! Knock knock! Who's there? Doctor. etc. Lets hope everyone else is as smart. (I doubt it). Love your work!

  • This is the awesome version :-)

  • i guesse Jaz was the original EMO ie emo-tional, The emotional pain in his voice is a KJ hallmark

  • Is Derrek Green form Sepuçtura at 3:10 ??? Hahahaaa

    AWESOME THIS SONG!!

  • The Bigs video game

  • The Zeppelin of the underground!! If that makes any sense?. Saw them 4 times... talked to Jaz once breifly back on these tour. Don't know how he is holding up these days?? nor Geordie??

    Cheers guys

    Epic band

  • @bvanwoud i saw them live 2 days ago. it was the best live experience of my life only compared to screamin jay hawkins and death in vegas both acts in 1999-2000. so to answer your question they are holding up quite well heres a video from the gig i went to /watch?v=bjT9thFifPc

BEHOLD!!!ALL MY LIFE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO COOOOOOME

  • I danced my ass off to this back in the day. Damn!

  • Commercial or not....this is Masterpiece

  • i always liked the fear factory version better than the original

  • @coolstertypderwelt What is the difference between KJ's song and Fear Factory's version of this song?

  • great

  • Who are the greatest fucking band on earth? You know.

  • the only band that could cover this with justice is prong

  • damn use the whole song

  • yes 1 of the songs every written jaz coleman rulesssssssssssssssss

  • Killing Joke has influenced thousands of bands but hardly gets any credit. Still going strong too. New album out this fall!

  • I always have tought that one of the reasons that this band was never been more financially succesful, is because of the "look" of Jaz Coleman. Please, do not misunderstand me, I LOVE Killing Joke, all albums, all songs, is just an hypothesis i have of this reason, that in this case, is not Important, since Killing Joke makes excellent music that please many people, including myself!

  • @LordNothing Back in the 80's we didn't even know what he looked like and didn't care. We didn't know what half of the alternative bands looked like in the USA because they weren't on MTV yet as 120 minutes, etc. And to buy their albums you had to drive deep into the city to Waxtrax Records. Then Your DJ friend with all the Vinyl bought the one album and made tapes for all his pals. I actually only bought 1 CD - this one. And they are one of my favorite bands.

  • Jaz face is really frightening !

    awesome

  • u2 forget it

  • @vankabel but FF couldnt write a song as good as this one 8)

  • Fear Factory dose a killer cover, but original is always better

  • GRANDISSIMI

  • Killer riff!

  • commercial? what other version is there?

  • ....several live versions.

  • @aodqw97 Actually I remember when it came out there was a "rawer" version circulating on some compilations. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and where to find it I would love to hear it again. I wanna say it was on a Spin Magazine sampler. Great tune!

  • This version is shorter than the album version.

  • @eisenkreuzmusik The album version is about a minute and a half longer.

  • @eisenkreuzmusik Album veersion is about a minute and a half longer

  • @eisenkreuzmusik theres numerous mixes on the cd single- some are better than this version!

  • One of the best songs ever written by one of the best bands ever formed.

  • AWESOME

cant wait to see them in Paris

  • THE BIGS

  • jaz is awesome

  • awesome vid.

  • MIGLIORI.

  • I love this video. Probably going to blare this song when I get home. Me and Jaz have the same last name!

    Thanks for uploading!

  • Killing Song...and i Fucking LOVE IT!!!!

  • numero uno!!!!

  • Yeah! this is great, so who's best?

    Ramstein or KJ?

  • KJ!

  • @MrKenhumphrey both are equal in my opinion.

  • Love it!!

  • It's better than Robbie Williams for sure!

  • Fear Factory did a version of this a few years ago, but this one's better. These guys were a big influence on Prong, too; Tommy Victor sings just like this guy.

  • @Purge187 Killing Joke are prolly my favourite band but FF's version is pretty faithful to the original.

  • @Sesquipedaliantique

    yeaaah :) FF !

  • greatest song and lyrics one of my favorites.....a classic.......including one great race like maories

  • KILLING JOKE > ALL

  • This was the UK version, the version in the US is called the 'aotearoa mix', which was the original (and my person favorite version), but I still love and adore this CyberSank remix. It got me into the Joke.

  • i bought this record when it came out after seeing it on the old headbangers ball on mtv. i couldn't believe how this band stayed in the underground. pandemonium was quite possibly one of the greatest rock records ever made. i wore the fukin cassette out - i played it that many times. the mix of western and eastern sound on this album is fukin genius. KJ encompasses the whole.

  • @murraysdaddy Thanks for the review. I just found this song but I'm going to check more out!! Cheers!!

  • @murraysdaddy I also bought the tape when it came out, most likely after seeing this video on either the Ball or 120 Minutes and I also wore it out. Agreed, Pandemonium was (and still is) a brilliant album.

  • Comment removed

  • We played this song at the factory back in Gary Indiana on the 3rd shift when the Boss split, and we cranked this' badboy 'while pouring metal

  • The bigs is a good game.

  • Is that little girl at the start the same girl who was in The Mission's Tower of Strength video? She looks very similar.

  • Doubt it mate ..she would at least be 27 years old by now...

  • Yeah, but this song came out in about '92?

  • 94.

  • fuckin brilliant song.i just realised this band influenced loads of my favourite bands like wtf they are playing extreme alternative industrial metal in the 80s how did they get the guitar sound to be so heavy and produced i thought that the heaviest stuff was sloppy distortion like sabbath and stufff in the 80s which i do think is brilliant but this is way ahead of its time faith no more nine inch nails nirvana a load of bands this inspired

  • ff version cant touch this. dont get me wrong , i love ff but eh.

  • you all should hear the fear factory version of this

  • I've heard it and it's not bad, but it's not really better than this.

Covers often bring something when there's a large time difference between both versions, so the new version benefits from obvious production enhancements. Or when they are done in completely different styles so it suprises the listener. I found Fear Factory's version to be only slightly drier and more unidimensional than the original.

  • fucking awesome song

  • I always loved this song but know nothing about KJ.

Is this pretty indicative of their sound or not so much?

  • It's pretty indictive of their sound from 94 onwards. Pre 94 their sound was different and sometimes quite varied from album to album.

  • Forget the video , it is clearly a distraction from the aboslute sledge hammer power of the song itself . Shut your eyes and you will see .

  • great song, but it's a little over produced...too clean. the live versions are better.

  • Great riffs in this song...saw them in the old The Academy in NYC back in '94.

  • 1994-1999 May have been the high point of western civilization, as far as I am concerned.

  • I never knew Steve Carell was the lead singer of Killing Joke....LOL

  • haha you're right. Crazy!!

  • WOW... that's NUTS. I had no idea. Thanks for the info.

  • It appears KJ influenced Ministry and then vice-versa.

  • mAGNIFICENT

  • i saw KJ in Paris... They were very good!! i love the blond guitarist, the one who smokes during the live lol (sorry i'm french... I think i made mistakes!!)

  • whats up with the random polynesian dudes?

  • I suspect it was shot in NZ - I think Jaz was living in NZ at the time this came out - I also think one of his band members was a Kiwi.

  • Top tune, top band, great live act, fantastic frontman.

Video by a 15 year-old who has just finished drawing dragons on his schoolbooks - the only reason there aren't more large-breasted women in the video is because he was scared his mum might see it.

  • I htink its pretty awesome tbh

  • wow quelle chanson ! magnifique puissance criss que c'est bon :)

  • swietny kawałmuzy

  • reminds of going out back in time...

  • i lust heard this band today and there already one of my faveorites

  • ahhhh...this takes me back to the late 90's when I first heard of KJ. Me and my mates where so into this :) Great band!

  • Welcome among us!

  • I saw Killing Joke on the Pandemonium Tour at the old Academy in NYC and it was by far the heaviest show I've ever seen....and I've seen Motorhead and Judas Priest back in the day too. Total annihilation.

  • I saw them on that tour too in Hamburg, Germany. They almost set the venue on fire since their fire bowls were placed close to the ceiling. And then they had those two performers with angle grinders...

what a show - perhaps even total annihilation

  • shit man this takes me back. fuckin excellent!

  • Pandemonium is such an under rated album

  • I agree, just an amazing disc that I still find quite enjoyable. Another criminally underrated band with no label support. Black Moon and Mathematics Of Chaos also kickass tunes.

  • Black Moon kinda cements the fact that this band has no basis for comparison. Awesome.

  • without a doubt....listen to it at least once a week....and its what...14 years old.....

  • haven't heard this in years. an absolutely brilliant tune. mad max meets the safety dance = apocalypse with a romantic twist.

  • Extinction seems to be a plausible risk.

  • Wow, I won this CD on the radio when it came out. I was 14. :)

  • remember the time when they released it,i was totally hooked to this song,so adictive!

  • me,raven, and guitar player for white zombie at the time, drunk in a bar after seeing catherine wheel play some club on hollywood blvd summer 95, great times.

  • My life i've been waiting for this moment

All my life i've been waiting for this moment to come

Taste the salt of my tears

Take the wealth of my years

Singing in the millennium with you

    Resolutions for show

Old ways don't seem to know

Singing in the millennium with you

  • Killing Joke ORIGINAL LINEUP!! World Tour 2008 tickets NOW ON SALE! (I've got mine, see you there :)

Yes this does mean Paul Ferguson on drums and Youth on Bass!!!!

  • ill be in paris pissed up

  • Fantastic video. KJ is one of the best. The contrasts between the feral power and the harmonies is something to behold. Long live Killing Joke!

  • 1994, new orleans, kagans, decatur street

  • follow the leader...cant seem to find a vid for it considerin it shud av been there first hit way back in uk chart shit...my booze riddled brain remembers itbeeen 42!

  • i first heard that song through fear factory, but the original version is so much better!

  • aodqw97 Thankyou for putting this video up, it is fantastic! Keep up the good work :)

  • Finally a good version! Thanks!

  • these guys rock got to hang w/youth at seattle pandem tou...i made a fool of my self...during one song early on some clown started moshing in from chaz stopped the song ..and had the the dude thrown the fuck out waykool then instead of the song they started they did communion...youth told me some things......about that song....

  • Glad you liked it, I've lots of KJ videos, any requests?

  • "Primitive"......I haven't seen a version on this site. One of my favorites.

  • I'll have a look in the archive mate, it's not an A1 quality if I do have it because it's not in the drive. But I'll take a look on some discs for you, stay tuned..

  • Great find, quality is better than the other one.
