I never stated that ballet dancing was only for men, however, I will say that MORE women engage in ballet dancing than men do. Don't blame me for recognizing it, blame gender roles, society, and parents who encourage their girls to go into ballet. I dated a girl who was a ballet dancer. She taught at her studio and 99% of the customers were young women. I'm fairly certain if you went into New York etc, you'd see the same thing.

Regardless, Black Swan is NOT a gender neutral movie, it is more for women than it is for men, we've already established this. It's a great movie and Natalie's performance was just ... brilliant. Some people say that she didn't dance in this movie, but it's not true. She actually did but not in every scene (obviously. She's not a dancer, she is an actress). She's is actually able to dance becouse whe she was a kid she used to dance (she took some lessons). So she danced in the movie. And she is a great actress. And she deserved that Oscar. And I love her.
