@thesimpsons17 personally I think its the island posing as Jacob, if it really was Jacob's spirit how could Desmond and Sawyer see him? There have been other apparitions in Lost that this goes for too, like Kate's horse, Ben's mother, Christian on the frieghter, etc

Same actor, same clothing as the blond kid in episode 4. Given all that, we're probably meant to think it's the same mysterious boy as the first one we saw, right?

Yet his hair is obviously not blond in this clip, but brown . . . and it's not just a "trick of the lighting" or whatever. It's meant to be noticed.

Why the change? =/

this might actually indicate twins--if it is the same actor yet the two 'characters' have been made to look different...it's all very mysterious

look up for kenton duty, the actor, then compare this sighting with the subsitute sighting. SAME BOY. Also Kenton duty's name was in the credits for this episode.

but why have they made him look so different in that case?

@LOST815EXECUTE either the first was jacob and this one was mib or they're both other children from some event that happened long ago...maybe mib was a bad boy, but i'm inclined to the first. None of this of course is answered until the preultimate episode

i just had a thought, while i don't completely buy the esau and jacob story if it were the case this would symbolize jacob stealing esau's identity
