am I mistaken but the drummer in the black in white :41 into the track, is that John Shine III---aka Johnny Bush? He played drums for Price during the time E was a Cherokee Cowboy, while Jimmy was still there. Thanks for posting this. Love it!
thank you thank you whoever uploaded this song. i have been trying for 2 years to find it. i did the song many years ago. a steel player that loves "the big E" once again thanks
Also have "Rose City Chimes" on a CD titled Hank Thompson and the Brazos Valley Boys - The Instrumentals. This CD is still listed as available on the Official Hank Thompson website for $15 plus s&h. This version does not have the vocal intro. The CD has 26 songs.
The Steel Guitar of Bobby Garrett on cassette MD-32-C from Mid-Land Records, Inc., 9535 Midland Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63114 has "Rose City Chimes" plus 11 other songs.
@mmarke15 - Thanks - I just purchased Bobby Garrett's "Thumbs Up!" cassette from The Steel Guitar Forums Store which has RCC on it too. With any luck I will be uploading it in the next week or so.
I have "Rose City Chimes" by Bobby Garrett on tape that I converted to CD, and I have many Buddy Emmons' recordings but not this one. What CD or other media is it on? Thanks for posting.
@mmarke15 - This is from a Texas Troubadour album - " Waltz Across Texas" Disk 1. I would love to have a copy of your Bobby Garrett recording. I have searched high and low for it with no results. Maybe you could post it? - Thanks
